The Interceptor

Captain/leader: General Bogure
Vessel type: Long range multipurpose stealth ship.
Size: 80 meters long, 60 meters wide and 50 meters tall.
Weapons: The Interceptor is equiped with seven weapon turrets. Each turret houses three high yield plasma cannons.
Defences: The Interceptor is protected by an electromagnetic based deflector field. This deflector field can also function as a stealth field. The stealth field provides very little protection, but makes the ship nearly impossible to find.
Propulsion: Duo fussion agita-drives move the ship at faster than light speeds.
Other Transport Devices: The Interceptor is also equiped with a prototype jump gate drive that can open a jump gate to almost any point in the universe or even open a doorway to the Negation universe.
Crew: The vessel can be operated by at least 8 highly trained Negation personel. It can accomidate up to 180 passengers. Currently the ship has a crew of 35 soldiers, 17 engineers, 12 mission specialists and a command crew of 3.
Places of interest:
Bridge: Located on the command deck. This is where the ship's primary systems are operated.
Crew quarters: This is where the crew sleeps and lives. Each room can accomidate three crew members. Bogure, Syndy and Aliexster each have their own private quarters.
Infermary: This is where Negation medics treat any and all injuries.
Cargo hold: This is where the Interceptor's supplies are kept. It is also equiped with a teleportation module to teleport cargo and personal to and from the ship. There is also a large airlock for moving cargo in and out of the ship manually.
Stasis cell: A 2 meter by 2 meter chamber that is designed to hold prisoners. The stasis technology of this cell can cut most prisoners off from the universal energies and render them powerless.
Engine room: This is where most of the ship's key systems and power generators are located.

**On the bridge of the Negation starship Intecepter, the crew is busy preparing to leave the safety of the V'Nelcao outpost and once again fly amongst the stars. Their destination is the Negation occupied planet called Manemax. Sitting on the command chair in the center of the bustling activity on the bridge is General Bogure. This ponderous officer looks at the bridge crew through the feild of blue star like energy that covers the top half of his face. He grins at their dedication and efficiency. But he doesn't have long to watch them as other matters come to his attention. On the main view screen is the image of the route the Intecepter will take on its journey. Much of the space they will be travelling through is still under despute. Parts of it are located in official war zones. Bogure sighs as he thinks about the fact that he should be leading soldiers in those disputed territories, not passing through hidden beneath a stealth field.**

Coming up from the cargo hold after stowing his stuff in his cabin, Aliexster comes up to the bridge trying not to marvel at the beauty of the void. Clearing his head, he looks over at Borgue sitting in his chair, "Sir," He says giving him a smart salute and clicking his heels together. "I have my team all set up in the ship. They have already gone through their drills, so they have an hour or two of rest before I start cracking the whip on them again. May I ask is there something about here that I might help out in while they are on break? I seem to have gotten quite hyperactive while developing the armor." He says with a slight smirk. "Perhaps something with internal security?"

**As the captain arrives on the bridge the Inteceptor takes off and leaves the refuge of the Negation hanger on the V'nelcao outpost. Within a matter of minutes the sleak vessel has left the volcanic atmosphere of V'nelcao and is speeding its way through the void of space. Bogure returns the salute as one of his aides hands a datapad to Aliexster. On the screen of the pad is technical and structural information about the Interceptor. Bogure waits for the captain to look at the information before speaking.**

Until a long range vessel can be properly modified the Inteceptor will have to act as the transport for your squad. I want you to inspect the ship and try to come up with any modifications that will aid in the transport process. Make sure to keep in mind that returning to the V'nelcao outpost might not be possible after all of your future missions and the Inteceptor will be the only place for repairs and maintenance.

Reading the schematics of the ship Aliexster nods to what Borgue is saying about resuplying. "We'll have to keep on the move then form world to world I take it?" He says while looking through the floor plans of the engineering room. "I will have to say, it may be difficult, expecially if we run into heavy combat over and over again but we could manage two or three missions before having to stop back and repair the armor. Still, I will start my search of the ship to try and see what needs to be done." Saluting again he walks off of the bridge and starts to traverse the ship, searching for any place that could store a helmet or chestplate.

After an hour or so of this, Aliexster noticed what time it was and silently cursed to himself while running down to the extended cargo hold. As he neared, he heard the tell tale shout of, "Brass on Deck!" and many jackboots running across the parade grounds. Slowing down a bit, the capitan looked over his squad, in training fatigues ready for the next lesson. "Alright men, I know you were expecting that since we're in space we can't have any more training. WELL THINK AGAIN! As long as you're not shooting some crazed flying chick out of the sky, your butt will ALWAYS be in training! First, we have a bit of literature," He says going over to the side and dragging over one of the trunks brought on board.

Opening it up, other than some spare parts, weapons, and ether readers, there were several thick, leather-bound books inside. "Everybody come up here and pick up one issue of 'Warrior's Way' and 'The Soldier's Art'. I have spent days going through the library and found these two books are the closest to what I had to read back at the academy. Warrior's Way is about tactical engagements of small forces, how the strength of the army's common goal can keep it going through the harsshest of times, and that there is nothing but the the enemy and you on the field. The Soldier's Art says that war is an extention of politics and takes a far more strategic view, but does note that after combat is engaged, most plans get shot to hell and it depends on the squad sticking together to accomplish their mission." Once everybody had one of the hefty tomes in each hand he continues, "I know that they are conflicting views, but they are true. War is like that and much more, so you'd better get used to it to properly be able to assault the enemy and keep your squadmates alive. Before we head back to V'lcano, I want you all to have read these cover to cover, but before that..." He pauses for a second getting the men's hopes up, "We forgot to go for our five mile run!" The communal moan reached deaf ears, "Now, I want you all to head down corridor A until you reach the bridge, go back through F, then come back here and do it again 25 times! Let's go ladies, and carry those books with you! I had to pull a lot of strings to get those things in your grubby little hands, so you'd better not let them out of your sight!" He yells following his men down the Interceptor's corridors.

On their first circuit, Aliexster breaks off from the group when they reach the bridge and heads for Borgue's seat. "Sir, I have searched through the ship and found several ways that equipment of the ship could be replaced with smaller versions from the base, leaving more room for storage. It won't be much, but it'll be enough for spare parts, ammo, and emergency coolant. That and I suggest that you get a magneto-gravetron lifter and at least an ether container in the medical bay, in case we have a spill. Best to be ready for the worst, right sir?"

**Bogure is reviewing long range tactical scans of the surrounding space sectors when Aliexster and his running squad enters the bridge. As the rest of the squad ran off to continue their excersice the general turns away from the sensor reports and responds to the remaining captain.**

Good work captain. I'll have these modifications added when we return to V'nelcao.
With these modifications we will be able to make quicker strikes against our enemy. Due to the Interceptor's small size and stealth capability we will be able to move virtually anywhere and hit two or three targets before the Firsts can even recover from the original assault.

**A cruel grin forms on the generals face as he thinks about their eventual attacks on the First.**

"Excellent General," Aliexster says to his plan, it was fairly sound; a small hard hitting team of assault troops that go in, bag the general or what ever and head back out. There was only one slight thing that nagged him, "I am certain that this ship will be suitable to our needs in the near future. but as you said, a larger vessel will be needed eventually. I doubt that this ship has the cargo capacity could carry an entire company into battle. Which brings me to ask this General, do these First ever fire their dark magical beams or what ever out here in the Void? If so, I think some of my boys back on V'nelcao are working on something that could possibly aid you. Might even give an added level of protection against their 'scrying' spells."

**Bogure sits straighter in his chair with renewed interest. He then replies with a small amount of pride in his voice.**

The Interceptor has its fair share of scars from battles with the First, not to mention a few from a Lawbringer. Despite its size and small number of weapons my ship has survived numerous battles against the First. But ether based modifications would definately give us a tactical advantage against the First.

**The energy over the top half of the general's face seems to surge slightly as the many possibilities run through his mind.**

"Yes, I have noticed the damage on the hull upon coming aboard," Aliexster says as emotionlessly as possible, "It is a tough little cruiser. I'll check in with my scientists once we are back into port." Almost as soon as he finished saying that last sentence the soldier's came about for their second circuit of the ship. "Well if you excuse me sir, I got young minds and bodies to train..."

Rushing off after them a chant started to fill the hallways of the Inerceptor as the squad continued their calesthenics.
"Ain't no use in prayin' right,
cause we got your god in our sights!
Put those spears and faith away,
we got big guns and are here to stay!"

**As soon as Aliexster is off of the bridge Bogure returns to the long range sensor readings of the surrounding sectors. The Negation General carefully studies the bits and peices of information on his empires war with this universe. Dues to his centuries of experience he can take a handful of sensor information and interpret it into the tactical situation of the area of space surrounding the Interceptor. Bogure can gauge ship deployment, which systems are conquered and which have been lost. This tour of how the war for the Bright universe is prgressing keeps the general preoccupied for the entire journey to Manemax.**

**As the cloaked Interceptor approaches the blue planet, called Manemax, Bogure stands up from his command chair and begins barking out orders.**

Frouxe, transmit our clearance codes to the command center on the planet. C'lalae, standard landing approach and deactivate the stealth field.

**The general presses a button on the armrest on his command chair which activates the intercomm. He speaks to the entire crew.**

We're approaching Manemax. Standard landing procedures in effect.

**Bogure switched off the intercomm and returned his focus to the widening image of the planet on the main veiw screen. Normally he didn't have to announce their arrival at a plant, but since he isn't sure what kind of welcome they'll get from the Negation forces on this planet he decides to play it safe. Within a matter of minutes the sleak Negation vessel streaks through the atmosphere of the large planet and approaches the capital city of one of this worlds largest continents. The helmsman pilots the craft over the majestic metropolis and towards the Negation occupation headquarters, which has been set up in the former legislative building of the former Manemax government. The Interceptor sets down on a landing pad beside the huge structure. It's mechanical landing legs give off the usual groan as the entire weight of the spacecraft settles on them. It is a sound that Bogure has grown accostumed to, but due to his bad luck on most of the worlds he has set foot on he almost dreads the sound as well.
Once all of the ship's sytems check out Bogure activates his personal communications device and contacts Aliexster.**

Captain, gather together any personel and equipement that you'll need for your demonstration and meet me at the cargo bay door in fifteen minutes.

**Bogure then makes his way to one of the auxilery airlocks near the bridge. He hopes that fifteen minutes will be enough time for him to stabalize any volitile situations that may be waiting for him outside of the ship. His rogue status may grant him a certain amount of freedom but it also makes interacting with other Negation officers a gamble. Within moments Bogure makes his way to the airlock and walks down the rampway on the other side of the door and sets foot onto the landing pad to face whatever welcome awaits him.**

As Borgue steps out of the Interceptor, he runs into a full squad of Negation troopers with their plasma rifles aimed right at him. They don't make any threatening movements, just stand there, seemingly looking menacingly at the general. "Borgue, I don't believe I had the pleasure..." Says another general striding towards the ship's ramp. He had the standard stary head most high ranking Negation officers had, but there was a little spot of grey skin at the apex of his head, wearing a cleanly pressed uniform with spitpolished boots. Striding up to the intruding officer he says, "I have heard about a Borgue before, but he was a great man, commander of Charon's Legions. He was not some frightened old man in a rickety old ship and with a rather shabby uniform," He says taking off a piece of lint off of his oposite's shoulder. "So, why don't you just tell me who you REALLY are, and I'll give you a quick death..."

About as soon as those words left the Negation General's mouth the sound of metal rythmically hitting metal came down off the ramp. Slowly making their way behind the general were nine fully armored ether storm troopers, rifles slung over their shoulders and brand new armor shining in the sun. The lead trooper looks about at Borgue, the other officer, and at the other soldiers with their weapons trained on them. **Bogure lightly pushes the lint picking hand of the other general away from his uniform. He then grins as he looks at Aliexster.**

You're a little early, captain.

**Bogure gives an approving nod to the armored officer before turning to speak to the other General.**

I must apologize for my appearance. My mission doesn't allow me to rocket through the cosmos in a larger than life warship and spend my time fussing over how shiney I can get my medals.

**Bogure reaches over and straightens a crooked medal on the other general's uniform before continuing.**

Instead I must carry out the mission given to me by the emperor himself. And so good appearance is a luxery that is replaced by the necessity of keeping a low profile and spreading misinformation about myself.

**Bogure glances over at the troops that are aiming weapons at Aliexster. He confidentally comments to the general.**

Maybe you should order your soldiers to lower their weapons. I wouldn't want you to waste all of those energy clips on an attack that probably won't even scratch the paint on the armor.

"You see that's just it..." He says putting an unsure hand under his chin, "I don't know if you ARE Borgue. All you have is your apperance and your word. You have some old clearance codes and instead of simply swooping in, like you always do, giving that polite request to land which does set up several red flags. Add to the fact that I have NEVER seen ANYTHING like those walking tin cans you have behind you, anywhere in the Negation arms and armament catalog." Crossing his arms over his chest, the general simply stares at Borgue, "I hope you can see why I am so suspicious..."

**Bogure was hoping to talk his way through this, but the other General seems to be far too strict to fall for that. Now he will be forced to take a riskier approach. Bogure lets out a small sigh before he continues talking in the same confident tone.**

Very well, if you require proof run a telepathic scan. That should suffice. But be warned, I won't tolerate anything more than a surface scan. Security reasons. I'm sure you understand.

**Bogure fills his mind with information on the Negation military and pushes these thoughts towards the surface. He provides enough to prove who he is. The general then tries to create several mental barriers to protect the rest of his mind from the other general's telepathy. There is no garentee that the other general will stop with surface thoughts. If the telepath should break down Bogure's barriers he would have a chance to take a glance at the general's various agenda's. Agenda's that some may view as treasonous.
General Bogure tries to further fortifies his mind and offers his surface thoughts to any and all telepathic probes.**

Letting out a slight sigh, the general says, "Yes, that will do, sir. Now just hold still, I'm still getting the hang on this, you might feel a slight tingling sensation, that means I'm going somewhere other than the brain." Putting hands on Borgue's head, he felt about, reading his surface thoughts, about all the acomplishments, and hardships he went through. Breaking contact he says, "Hmm, sorry about that General Borgue, we have been under assault by some rather powerful rebels trying to destroy our grand order. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm General Valrian, who is single handedly keeping this planet together." The troopers then put their arms down and start to wander off to their standard duties as Valrian comments, "Once again, please forgive me for thinking you an imposter. You know your head indicates a strong inclination towards dishonesty and selfishness."

"Why yes, you know of this remarkable science?"

**Bogure raises a hand to Aliexster. A gesture to quiet to captain for now. The general doesn't want the human to insult Valrian. Bogure then speaks to Valrian.**

Rebels are the least of your worries Valrian. On the way here my ship detected the ninth fleet's withdrawal from the neighboring sector. This does leave you vulnerable if the First should decide to take Manemax for themselves.

**This warning of a possible First attack was delivered with absolute sincerity and urgency. Bogure decides that phrenology must be an accurate enough science since the warning is a lie. The Inteceptor actually detected the ninth fleet pushing past enemy lines and on the verge of taking their entire sector. Although with the fleet so close to victory intelligence from them will be restricted and so there will be no way for Valrian to learn the truth until at least a few days after the sector is taken. Bogure hopes the deception will help sway the other general to give him the four recruits. Bogure continues speaking.**

I was on my way to the local central command base to request more personnel for a project I have been working on. But when I saw the dire situation you will soon be facing I saw an opportunity to bypass central command and help fortify conquered space.
This armor that Captian Vlaingrouski- *Bogure gestures in Aliexster's direction.* -is designed to harness the universal energies that the First utilize. We are in the process of putting together a squad of power armored soldiers. But if we recruit through command we will only be slowed down by protocol, which would also limit the distribution of the power armors once we begin mass producing them. But if I had the necessary troops transfered from another base I could eventually return those troops after they have been fully trained with the armors.
You can transfer four soldiers to me and once their time with my squad is complete they will be returned to you with a few extra power armors, not to mention the experience to train a power armor squadron of your own.
Just think about it Valrian. When the First eventually set foot on this world, that you've fought to take and hold ,you'll have the means to take their own power and shove it down their throats.

Aliexster backed off into his squad, letting Borgue do the talking. At hearing about the defeat of the 9th fleet Valrian almost paled but lets out a long sigh, " I should have seen this coming. " Turning to look at the assembled soldiery in front of him while listening to the other general's words, the stary energy in his head sparking with thought. " Alright then, General, would you and your elite soldiers join me in my office? "

Turning about he leads them through the corridors of the space port which looked rather well worn from heavy traffic, but other than that it was rather bare. Not even any trash was visible, and more than once a cart rushed by with crates filled with various supplies, obviously headed elsewhere. Once they reached his office, he ushured the eintire squad into his office just saying, " Please don't sit down, the chairs are antique wood... " Sure enough, there were four wooden chairs not counting Valrian's, but the cleanliness in the halls was not present here. His desk was piled high with papers with several filing cabinets filled to overflowing. Taking a seat behind his desk Valrian says, " Well you were smart going through standard channels Borgue," He says gesturing for the only non-power armored member of the away team to sit down. " Ever since we've come here, this planet has been a major supply hub for the entire sector. All of the men and supplies that come here are usually out on the way out in the next few months to the front. I just WISH someone would realize the importance of this world, then they would leave some of my supplies alone. "

Tapping a single finger on the desk Valrian continues slowly, " But at least you offered something in return. Everybody else was just 'gimme, gimme, gimme!' I will say your offer sounds acceptable, I think that I can spare those men you want, depending on what men you want. Do you have their files so I may contact them? "

**The general looks at the mans cluttered office. It reminds him of Aliexster's lab, only less productive. Bogure reaches into his inside coat pocket and retreives a datapad with the transfer request and list of names on it. He places the digital pad on the other general's desk.**

**Meanwhile on the roof of the former Finane Inc. tower, a fifty story sky scraper which over looks the space port, a lone red haired woman stands watch over the Negation administrative building where Bogure is meeting with Valrian. The woman wears a dull gray jumpsuit that a maintenance person of the Finane tower would wear, but she isn't a maintenance person. Her name is Wynda Lynn and she is the key figure in Manemax's resistance movement. A few years ago Lynn, a member of this planet's Orbital Defence Corps, was marked with a super power granting sigil. This mark allowed her to protect her world from the evils that this harsh universe had to offer. She performed this task flawlessly until a year ago she was abducted by advance agents of the Negation. She was brought to the Negation universe and became the test subject of a seemingly endless series of inhuman experiments.
Recently she managed to escape, due to the incompetance of a Negation agent in this universe. Lynn managed to make her way home only to find it had been conquered by the Negation. The sigil bearer quickly began to round up a group of resistance fighters in order to over throw the Negation forces that occupy her home. Over the past few months they have been striking at the Negation. Destroying cargo shipments, sabotaging docked ships, assassinating key officials and any other act of destruction that would hurt their enemy. One such operation is the reason Lynn stands watch on the sky scraper near the administration building. The resistance has planned an all out assault on several of the leaders of the occupation, who are stationed in the administration building. Lynn's job is to wait for the signal and swoop in to deal with whatever heavy artillery the Negation throws their way.
Eventually the woman's patient waiting pays off and she recieves the signal in the form of an exploding bomb that had been planted at the fuel tanks of the near by space port. The explosion is massive and consumes most of the docking post and all but the ship that landed earlier today, which appears to be saved by some advanced armor. Just as a column of thick smoke begins to rise from the burning space port Lynn steps off of the ledge of the skyscraper and flies towards the administrative building.**

Valrain started to go over the list of soldiers who were going to go into Aliexster's squad when the explosion rocked the building. Falling flat on his back with a pile of papers burrying him for a couple of seconds before coming back up rather flustered. " Oh crap!!!!! It's the rebels again! " Grabbing his intercom he shouts, " All guards, get to the space port as soon as possible! Full armor and assault garb, this is not a drill, I think this is the real thing! We got to squash this now! "

Turning to Borgue and the others while drawing his pistol he says, " You stay here, we know how to handle these rebels. Don't want those pretty armor to get scuffed by a thrown pitchfork, now do we? " He smirks while running out of the door barking more orders into the communicator Valrain ran by a large glass window to get a better look at the damage wrought by the terrorists. While doing that she saw some odd woman flying straight towards the building, " What in Charon's name? " He shouts raising his pistol aiming for the girl's head, squeezing off two shots, one to break the glass and one to actually hit her.

**The energy beam from the general's weapon, as well as any shot that manages to hit Lynn, bounces off of an unseen barrier nearly a centimeter from her. The most the attacks do is burn away patches of the jumpsuit. As the red haired rebel flies at the starry eyed man she twists slightly so that she has her right shoulder facing Valrian. A peice of her sleeve has been burned away by weapons fire and reveals the glowing red and yellow sigil on her right shoulder. Lynn smashes through whatever glass has not been shot out alread and gives a wink to the general. Lynn had heard stories about these Negation generals possessing some super powers. She has decided to test this by trying to ram her shoulder into him while flying a hundred miles per hour.
Meanwhile at the burning remains of the northern spaceport a handful of rebels enter a fire fight with the oncoming Negation soldier. There are only eight resistance fighters here, which won't last long as the Negation pour their troops and heavy artillery towards them. Although their job isn't to fight all of these soldiers, their job is to distract them long enough for a group of thirty rebels to force their way in through the southern entrance and to attack the Negation soldiers from the rear. It's the job of this larger group to keep the enemy occupied long enough for Lynn to reach them and help finish off their opponents.**

Valrian tries to get out of the way of Lynn's rush, but the red headed hellion manages to connect with his chest driving him into the wall causing him to cough up a little bit of blood. Unfortunately he doesn't seem that worse for where and gives Lynn an slug upside her chin that does send her flying out of an opposite window. Unfortunately the general was still a bit disoriented from the inital blow, extracting himself from the wall, he staggered a bit before trying to call up reinforcements from below. Before he could say anything though he noticed that the comm was crushed in the inital blow. Sighing while throwing the broken radio to the side, he turns to Wynda, then rushes forward trying to knock her jaw free from her skull.

"http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif We'll have plenty of time for that later, but now we just have to leave this to the native forces besides, I don't think... http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before he could finish his sentance the building starts to shake a bit with the sound of shattered glass and mortar from several feet away. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif That was inside! http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before thinking the capitan draws his sidearm and rushes out in the hall to see what sort of assault they were in the middle of.

**Bogure draws a plasma pistol from a holster under his coat and follows after Aliexster. The general begins giving out orders as they move.**

Everyone patch in to the communications channel used by Valrian and his men. Let's get a better idea of what's going on.

**Valrian's punch sends the sigil bearer flying outside once again. Lynn takes a moment to dust off some shards of glass from her clothes and flies back into the building. She enters the structure again and collides with the general's punch. Her head snaps back and blood sprays out of her mouth. The rebels jaw on one side of her face is consumed by an inferno of pain. The powerful blow also knocks Lynn to the floor and sliding back several feet. The red head rubs her aching jaw while commenting to her enemy.**

So you're General Valrian.

*The rebel spits out a tooth with a splatter of blood before continuing.**

I can't say I'm impressed. I expected you to be taller.

**The sigil on Lynn's shoulder lights up even brighter as she reaches down, digs her fingers into the flooring and tries to pull it out from under the Negation general.**

Valrian simply smirks at the flying rebel, trying to be as smug and confident as possible, " It doesn't matter how tall I am, I can still knock you into the next county then spend the next few months extracting everything I need from your ever squirming skull. Then you will... what are you doing? " He asks seeing her bend down for something. When she sees Lynn grabbing at the floor the general sneers and jumps forward trying to ram his pistol several inches into the woman's skull then pulling he trigger. Unfortunately, he lost his footing as she lifted the floor and feel down to the next floor, the cement landing on top of him and sending him plumeting to another floor. He lets out another long moan, but gave no other real sign that he was alive.

After Valiran went down, Aliexster came about the corner, drawing his sidearm, aiming it right at Lynn's head, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Hold it right there Scarlet! I don't know where you come from and what you think you're doing, but it stops now! Step away from the hall and put your hands on your head, or you will need a new one. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" After he made this ultimatium, the rest of the squad took up position behind their leader, guns aiming at the firey rebel while the port's radio kept blaring about explosions and requiring more backup to deal with them.

**From down the hall, behind Aliexster's squad to be specific, Bogure looks at the rebel and his star covered eyes focus on her symbol of power. The general contacts Aliexster through his personal communicator. He makes sure to talk softly so that Lynn can't hear him.**

Captain, look at the symbol on the woman's right shoulder. Look familiar? We believe that sigil, as it's called, is the work of the First or some unknown entity that's affiliated with the First. It grants the sigil bearer super human power. Fortunately it utilizes the same energy that the First do. Energy that I think we've come prepared for.

**Lynn slowly puts up her hands up as if to surrender. She looks into the helmet of the armored captain and gives him a defiant smirk.**

I give up, Mr. Mechano-man.

**Slowly the sigil bearer stands up. He hands are still raised and her movements are nonhostile.**

So how long have the Negation been building their soldiers from a kit, or does that dopey looking thing contain an equally dopey person?

**Without giving her opponents a chance to answer, or even think over, the questions she exerts all of the force that allows her to fly and directs it downward. Lynn flies right through the floor, leaving a hole large enough for her to fit through. Once on the next level the red haired woman puts both of her fists in front of her and performs a U-turn and flies back up, but this time she tries to punch through the floor beneath Aliexster's feet.**

Hearing Borgue's warning, Aliexster quietly swore to himself inside of his helmet, he didn't think he was going to have to field test these things so soon. He thought that once he might be able to check the Kerenshky values of these First's powers and calculate how much the suits could take. Still the woman seems to be giving up although being quite smart allecky, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif You're one to talk missy. Very nice fashion statement for the poor, disheveled grease monkey. But believe me, you don't want to be facing us outside of this armor either... http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Then she went through the hole, Aliexster cursed squeezing off a few shots off after her but overcompensating for the kickback from traditional ballistic weaponry. Soon after a barage of laser fire shoot around him as his squad opened fire compeltely missing him, and trusting them to do so. Turning to the squad, he says over the radio, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Crap, she ran, everybody get down to the next level, try and cut her off before... http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

As the lastwords were being spoken, the floor underneath him exploded and the young woman came up right under him, but Aliexster managed to jump on to a solid piece of flooring before she rammed him into the ceiling. But unfortunately the floor under him gave way, and he lept up grabbing Lynn to keep from falling down several floors. As soon as his arm wrapped about the woman the Kerenshky meter on his suit jumped to life, he was recieving quite a bit of ether. When this started, he soon found himself falling to the floor below letting out a long scream.

**Lynn can feel the cold metal of the armor tightly gripping her legs. She can feel pain as the metal limbs hold her too tightly. These are things that the sigil bearer should not feel because normally her sigil would generate some kind of invisible barrier around her to protect her from harm. The rebel looks down at the helmeted face of her enemy as they fell and she began to understand that he was somehow stealing her power. Lynn feels the icy grip of panic overtake her as they fall. She can't help but relive her time imprisoned in the Negation universe. Powerless and at the mercy of madness. Her upper body crashes into the floor with the familiar numbness of invulnerability while her captured legs are subjected to an all new sensation of agony. She quickly reaches for a chunk of concrete debris and desperately tries to smash it against the side of Aliester's head.**

When Lynn brought the chunk of concrete about to bash his head in, Aliexster only saw it out of the corner of his eye, keeping an eye on his ether meter. He couldn't let go fast enough and the cudgel connected with the Capitan's head, sending him off of the super woman's legs, leaving a rather nasty dent in his helmet. Thankful that is all that it had caused but to shake the wearer up, with lightning quick reflexes, he drew another laser pistol and let out a barage of light towards the sigil bearer while falling to the ground until he hit the floor. Although the armor protected him from the trauma of the fall, it did knock the wind out of him, and it caused him to catch is breath while he looked up to see if his pistol fire did anything to her.

**Lynn struggles to her feet and looks to her sigil. The red and yellow symbol's light has dimmed. Her armored attacker has drained some of her power. The rebel is still in shock when a couple laser blasts stirkes her and knocks her off of her feet once again. One blast struck her on the left side of her forehead and the other hit her on her stomach. Both laser impacts leave large burn marks but the one on her abdomen is more serious since her protective feild was weakest near her legs. This new agony and the fact that the room was suddenly spinning made Lynn want to run away. If the Negation could drain her power she couldn't win this fight. But then another glance at her sigil reminded her of something. She rememebred all of those other sigil bearers that died around her while she was a prisoner of the Negation. They were lab rats in an endless series of sadistic experiments. The red haired woman then looks at the armored man. Could this man be the end result of those experiments. Could all of those other men and woman have died for this.
Lynn reaches out and tears an exposed metal support beam out of the near by wall. She flies off of the ground, points the metal I-beam at Aliexster and flies at him at full speed. The rebel hope that the dizziness that she feels from her head wound doesn't throw off her aim. She intends on ramming the beam into her enemies chest. And hopefully by destroying him and his armor she'll have avenged at least one dead sigil bearer.**

Aliexster took several deep breaths although the filter made it a little difficult, doing his best to get back on his feet. There was still a very peeved superpowered woman trying to kill him. Opening his eyes, Aliexster saw her coming right at him with a girder and it was the only thing he could do to roll out of the way. After the I-beam slammed down next to him, he rolled back, putting his arm against it and squeezing off some shots, burrning the girl's hands when it should be leaving bloody stumps. What ever she was, he wasn't going to play about any more. Aliexster remembered Borgue saying that the Sigil on her arm was the source of her powers, rolling over to her right and started shooting at the Sigil, hoping it would at least weaken her.

**The laser blasts to Lynn's hands burns the flesh and melts the steel girder around her grip. The strike to her sigil also causes her skin there to burn, but despite the blistered warping of tissue the symbol of power retains its shape. All that these three attacks have managed to do is injure the rebel even further. But she manages to push past the pain and only feel the anger at the man wrapped in his power draining armor. The sigil bearer groans in pain as she lifts the metal beam with her burned hands and pushes its side towards Aliexster. She hopes to shove and possible crush him with the girder.**

Seeing Lynn lift the girder over her head Aliexster knew wha he had to do, he shot both pistols over the woman's hands burning them in the process, but that is not what he intended. It took several shots and she was dangerously close to crushing him, but finally he middle of the I-beam seperated and landed on her head, giving him a few seconds to get up off his feet. Rushing towards the woman, Aliexster once again jumped up on her, this time climbing higher on her from last time, he then started to pistol-whip her missing once in a while, but sucking ether like crazy. He just hope that he could beat her into submission as soon as possible.

**After a few seconds of draining Lynn's sigil dims until it seems to be completely gone. A moment after that one final strike of the captain's pistol sends the rebel collapsing to the ground, unconscious.**

Aliexster was mostly in autopilot, just beating on Lynn until he knew he was safe, but then a little red light started to flash in the corner of his eye, indicating that the capacitor was at it's ether limit. Groaning a bit, Aliexster sat up, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif No, I don't think she is... but she seems to be out at least. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Getting to his feet, he snarled a bit in pain, then looked at he girl lying before him, he didn't realize how young she was. Odd, while they were fighting the only thing he really saw was the Sigil.

Being drawn back to the real world, Aliexster said, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Put her in in the brig, and make sure she doesn't wake up until we get back to base, I think she might be useful to us... http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Down bellow, Valiran started to show some signs of life after Borgue lifted the first ton of rubble off of him, " Ah... Borgue, what... the rebel where is she? "

Valiran's eyes go wide at Borgue's revilation, " Wait, ONE of your soldiers took her down? Good Charon, what did you do with those guys! " Once all of the rubble was removed, the general got up and dusted himself off, wiping the blood off of his face. " Well General, after the demonstration of the armor's effectiveness, I am willing to give you the personel you require. I hope they will serve you well, I'll be sending them over to you as soon as the rebels are taken care of... And I have a chance to give a medal to the brave man to take down that hellion! "

Getting up rather shakily, Aliexster heard something over his comm and tapped it, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Capitan Vlaingrouski here. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He then listens to Borgue's request while watching two of his men carry away Lynn to the Interceptor. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Roger that General, heading out now. Alright men, you heard him, get to the court yard on the double, get those terrorist bastards before they run off, tail between their legs. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" With an affermative grunt, the squad then run out to the shipyards.

Once on the tarmac the squad saw that things were in total chaos, there were soldiers running everywhere shooting at dark corners, rescue personel putting out fires, and dock workers hauling scrap off. Striding up to the first regular trooper Aliexster shouted, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif What the heck is going on here soldier? http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Turning to him, the stock soldier looked him up and down then caught sight of the captian stripes on his shoulder, "Sir, we're trying to catch the rebels who blew up the major fuel tanks. It's not easy, other than the inital fire fight, we haven't seen any of them anywhere. We have found small bombs and boobytraped guns that fire randomly at anybody who gets too near. We're running a search of the grounds, but haven't found anything."

While listening to this one of the stormtroopers saw something to the side, one of the dock workers had a rather heavy belt with a gun holster which was not standard issue. Turning to him, the soldier said, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Hey you! Hold it, I want to... http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before he could finished the worker drew a pistol and landed two shots on his torso, but they didn't penetrate the power armor. When he broke into the run, the stormtrooper raised his rifle and shot the rebel in the back sending him to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

Steeping up to him, Aliexster says "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif Good work Corpral. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Turning back to the original soldier, he said, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif I want this place TOTALLY sealed, the rebels have come prepared for this, stop any dock workers, medical, or fire fighting personel and demand to see their identification. We need to get more than just this stupid sod! http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Giving a sharp salute, the soldier rushed off to relay the order, while Aliexster gazed out across the devestation wondering why people would due such a thing so seemingly at random?

**Impersonating the emergency repair crew was the rebels escape plan. It was only to be used if Lynn failed to show up at the firefight near the landing pads. Before the armored captain caught on to their deception half of the rebels managed to escape. The rest are quickly captured, or killed in an attempt to capture them, by the Negation forces. With their sigil bearing powerhouse captured and most of their forces either killed or captured the rebellion goes underground and tries to put together the peices of their shattered operation.**

Once their megar catch heading off to the brig or the morgue Aliexster went back inside the administrator building he commed over to Borgue, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif General, we have taken care of the rebels that we can, but I have to admit, many of them have fleed before we got there. Yet things are calming down and we are coming in. Capitan Vlaingrouski out. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" After turning off his radio he told his men to continue on without him, and went directly to the sick bay. Taking off his helmet, he ran a hand through his blood matted hair from that punch Wynda gave him. The in suit automatic medicinal systems have managed to keep him on his feet and functioning despite having a broken rib or two. Lying down, Aliexster waited for the doctor to come in to patch him up. He had quite a bit more work to do.

Aliexster is laying in the sickbay, a light bandage wrapped about his head and a little bit of salve on his right chest, having stripped out of his power armor, depositing it right next to the bed. Seeing Borgue come into the room, he stands at attention and salutes him, "General, how are things going on the outside?"

**Bogure returns the salute and speaks to the captain.**

The final four members of your squad have been transfered and are settling into their barracks here on the Interceptor right now.
It would seem like the sigil bearer was the nucleus of her particular rebel group. Without her, not to mention the dozen casualties that they suffered, the remaining rebels should be going into hiding.
The Inteceptor sustained only minor damage and should be space worthy again in a half hour.
And lastly the sigil bearer has been sedated for the trip back to V'Nelcao. I'm sure you'll find some use for her in your lab. Hopefully you'll get enough data from her and her sigil's power to modify your armor and avoid ending all of your misssions in sick bay.

"Well sir, from the way she was tearing rebar and I-beams from the walls, I think the armor held up remarkably well," Aliexster says sitting down on the bed once again. "But there are some modifications I need to institude on the ether capacity, I almost reached the suit's limit there. If I had gone beyond that, I wouldn't be in sick bay, but in a sponge in the morgue." Letting out a little sigh he says a bit morousely, "Not even a year old, and my suits already are going to need a refit...."

There is a little bing on Borgue's intercom, on it is one of the bridge crewmen, "Excuse me General, but there is a General Valiran here with a thin felt covered box wishing to come aboard. Should I sir?"

**The general turns to look at Aliexster through the star like energy that covers his eyes.**

"Of course general," He says getting up and putting his uniform back on, "I just hope it doesn't take too long. I took quite a few pain killers and I don't want them to kick in while talking to another general..." Once dressed he follows Boruge up to the bridge.

Up there, Valrian was plying his hobby on the crew, "Hmm, you ever thought of being pilot or some such? You have the head of a good look-out or driver." Once seeing the other officers come on board, he stops feeling the crew's heads and turns to them, "Aw, Borgue, good to see you, I have set the personel you wanted on boardand downloaded their files into the computer. And is this the brave soldier who defeated that devil-woman?"

"I am sir," Aliexster said giving him a salute, "Capitan Vlaingrouski, head of the Storm Drakes Powered Armor Stormtrooper Squad. And I doubt that she is something so simple as a devil-woman, but we will to find out."

Nodding at him, " Yes, but you have done away with her for the moment. But still, this woman has taken out an entire company of my men, I thought it was just combined rebel fire, but now I realize who killed them all. You are a prime example of what a warrior in Charon's army should be. For that, I present you with the Primeium Nebula," He says taking out a medal that is slightly elipsical, mostly made out of some odd golden metal with black enamel on the front with various pin-pricks for stars. Taking it out of the box and pinning it on the Capitan's shirt, giving him the standard salute which Aliexster returned slowly. " So Boruge, is there anything else you require of me and my station? "

**Bogure shakes Aliexster's hand. The general has always been glad to see one of his soldiers recieve medals. And it had been a while since anything he, or someone under his command, had done anything that could be acknowledged by another member of Negation command.**

No, Valrian. I think this is all we'll require for now.
We should head back to our outpost. There's still al lot of work to do.

Smiling back at Borgue politely, Aliexster says, "Thank you General, although I'm simply glad to survive through that assault." He gladly shakes the other Negation's officer, but trying not to shake too much due to his still healing rib cage.

Valrian nods to his counterpart, " Very well Borgue, I will leave you to your mission. " Saluting the General he says, " Glory to Charon Borgue. " Before leaving the Interceptor.

Restore bridge functions and prepare to lift off. Charge up the stealth field. I want to be gone the moment we're out of the atmosphere.

You've earned yourself some rest. Take it easy on yourself until we reach V'Nelcao. I can assign your squad's training to one of my officers for the trip back to headquarters.

Nodding to Borgue, Aliexster says, "I think Corpral Kelane has earned an extra bar by spotting how the rebels were getting out. Promote him to Sergant, and tell him to bring them up to speed. He'll definately know what to do." Sighing a bit, he stretches the best he can before saying, "I think I will take you up on my sick leave." Picking up a datapad, he starts heading to the hospital to heal and do some good reading.

**Bogure agrees with Aliexster's recomendation and promotes Kalane to sargant and places him in charge of training for their trip back to V'Nelcao. On their journey back to the volcanic world the Interceptor conducts another scan of surrounding space. The results of these sensor sweeps are grim for the invasion. Entire fleets are falling back into Negation controlled systems. Supply lines seem to be falling apart. Communications traffic is infected with panic and chaos. And the most startling finding of all is the lack of portal activity. No one is using portals to access the Negation universe. Normally there would be supplies and troops brought in from home. Even communications to the empire would require some interdimensional activity.
After studying the data Bogure has a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. They're losing the war and it looks like no one's able to get back home. If he can't return home then Bogure's hope for a cure is gone. He had prayed that Negation scientists could fix the death curse when he returned to the Negation universe, after accomplishing his mission. Without being able to return home Bogure doesn't see any point in completing his mission to kill Qwaring's clone#1. Now all that remains is revenge.**

It's engines burst with full power and propels the vessel out into the inky void of space at maximum speed. General Bogure silently sits on the bridge. His star like energy covered eyes patiently watches the starscape being shown on the main view screen, while the brigde crew is busy with their tasks on preparing for their trip to the Negation outpost on the planet Vix.**

On the way to Vix, the stormtrooper platoon wasn't running about the ship as they were last time, instead they were either helping fix up the ship or in their room reading philisophical works about why men go to war and tactics. The trip goes slowly with only the brief stint of darkness due to a wiring failure that was quickly fixed. When they were a while away from their destination, Aliexster bounds down the hall in full battle armor save for the helmet before coming to ground by the functional gravity on the bridge. "Sir, my squad almost have the final refits on the ship done, and then we won't have any of the inconviences that we've been suffering with." Standing next to the general for a minute in silence the capitan then asks, "General, may I ask you something? I have not been able to find anything on this planet Vix in the database. May you be able to inform us on what we are getting into?"

According to our files, Vix is planet with an optimal environment. It was colonized by humans three thousand years ago, possibly as a scientific research colony. It's populated by over eight billion humans. Their society is advanced enough for interstellar travel and have science and technology that is nearly as advanced as the Negation was five generations ago.
Our early intelligence reports says that General Breile was in charge of the invasion of Vix. He commanded an armada of carriers and smaller warships. Once he had taken the planet he would have probably began to refit the worlds industrial capabilities to comply with Negation standards. Vix would have most likely been used for sceintific research and developement.
The message that I recived is from General Breile and was sent out on a long range comm-pulse, so it is likely to have attracted the attention of any Negation ships, outposts and agents in the galaxy. I have no way to determine how many have made it there or how much progress they have made by now.
I have unlocked enough of the Interceptor's tactical database to give you information on those that we'll potentially meet on Vix. You and your squad should link your armor's comm system to this database so you can access it just in case there are problems on the planet. Although before we arrive it might be a good idea to read the files on Lawbringers that were assigned to this galaxy. If anyone does cause a problem it will probably be them.

Aliexster stood at attention the enitre time, listening to Borgue's evaluation of the planet and the world they were heading too. "Very well I'll make sure they're configured so we can call up the information we need." When the Lawbringers were mentioned, his face semed to harden a bit, "Do not worry sir, I know all about Lawbringers and a gree whole heartedly with your assessment. Now sir, I will have to get the equipment and my men ready for planet fall," Giving Borgue a sharp salute, Aliexster heads back into the depths of the ship. He was going to do that, but first he wanted to hit the impromptu firing range, the memories of VMPR came rushing back to his head. He wanted to vent those frustrations out now before arriving to the planet.

**Some time later, the Interceptor enters the Vix star system and is instantly scanned by several dozen Negation ships that patrol the parimeter.Each of these sentry vesels are damaged enough to make them useless for anything but guard duty. As Bogure's ship progresses further towards the planet Vix the number of Negation spacecraft increases. Eventually they arrive over the violet colored world and the nearly one hundred warships that orbits it. Moments after taking a possition in orbit over the planet the Interceptor recieves clearance to teleport their commander to the surface for a meeting with leaders of the Negation coalition. As soon as the details of the meeting are established Bogure contacts Alixster through the intercom.**

Captain Aliexster, prepare yourself and two members of your squad to accompany me to the planet's surface. The remainder of your squad will be on stand-by, just in case.

It took a second for Aliexster respond to Borgue, only some few laser blasts being heard over the comm. A second later he comes back on, "Yes sir, I'll get them ready and we'll be up there in a second." Within a minute or two Aliexster and his two compatriots were standing there, rifles slung over their shoulders. The two had the standard laser rifle, but Aliexster was carrying something quite a bit longer, a thicker stock, with a wider barrel, a bipod installed, and a scope on it. **Moments after Aliexster's arrival Bogure orders one of the tech officers to activate the teleporter. The general and his armed escort vanish from the sleak vessel and appear within a courtyard that's imbedded on the side of a vast factory complex. The structure beside the pocket of grass, bush and trees that they stand in it is a massive research and manufactoring facility which bares Negation markings at every available space. Bogure glances around at the serene courtyard and then gazes up at the mammoth factory. Before he can take too long to study either the voice of the approaching Lawbringer captures his attention.**

Lawbringer ZTGZ: General Bogure, of the ill fated invasion of Planet M. General Bogure, the incompetant caretaker of my brother, QLNZ. General Bogure, who seems to have turned his back on the sacred mission that my father has sent you on. General Bogure, why shouldn't I kill you.

**The Lawbringer is an eight foot tall monstrosity. It's body is unnaturally thin and bound in a suit of skin tight, black leather and various staps and spikes. On his right arm and hand he wears a golden gauntlet that hums with a pure light that emmits pain to those that sense it. The gauntlet is marked with a House Dexter symbol near the elbow. The most unusual feature of this creature is the three heads that tops his thin form. The center head is almost human like in form. Its skin is dark gray and its scalp is comletely hairless. Its lower face, from his nose on down, is covered by a black leather mask. The head on his right is a twisted beast. The things eyes are large ebony colored saucers that squint into small slits as they look upon Bogure. Between its eyes rests a small nose and bellow that is a mouth that's filled with twisted and warped teeth. Bits of foul drool drips from the heads mouth as it growls at the armored soldiers near the general. The head on the right is nothing more than a neck and a mouth. This thing has two spike like teeth on the top of its mouth and two smaller spikes on it jaw. This monstrous head hisses at Bogure as the center head continues to talk.**

Lawbringer ZTGZ: I am tempted to strike you down right now, Bogure, but my curiousity as to why you are here is the only reason you still live.

**Bogure pauses as he stares at the three headed Lawbringer in shock. The general had not expected to see ZTGZ here. Of all of the Lawbringers ZTGZ is one of the most chaotic. Any of his three heads can govern his actions at any given time and only insanity fills the minds of all three. Bogure concludes that this beast must be desperate enough to get home that he would take charge of a research outpost as opposed to the mass murder and mayhem missions that he is accustomed to. Bogure hopes this desperation will keep the three minds of the beast from deciding to attack.**

I am here because, like you, I wish to go home. I bring this gathering resources and information that no one else has. To kill me now would deprive your scientists of the much needed assistance that I am offering and it would leave you stranded in this universe even longer.

Aliexster is not quite happy with being teleported, but he manages remarkably for his first time, but is unprepared for the sight that meets him. Stepping back for a second, he points at the Lawbringer and shouts, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifIst heilige Scheie, welche die Hlle jenes Ding?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" When Borgue starts talking to him, the Capitan starts to calm down a bit, going back t attention and watching what is going on here.

While they were talking, Aliexster switched his hemlet to mute out the sounds to the outside world with radio only. He commented, "With the way you look, I'd think your father should have stuck with his planned parenthood schedule..." The other two stormtroopers look at him a bit amazed, but then turns back to standing at attention hoping nothing will happen to turn them to smokin' vapor.

**The star like energy over the top half of the general's face flares up and flows outward uncontrolably. His limbs spasm and blood begins to trickle out of his nose and ears. Despite the ferosity of the Lawbringers mental scan Bogure manages to maintain his mental defenses and conceal any dangerous information. After minutes of having his mind sifted through in one of the most painful ways imaginable Bogure is released and he falls to his knees. The general manages to not lose consciousness and glares at his interrogator.**

As the Lawbringer starts to force his way into Borgue's mind, Aliexster steps forward, "Alright, you monstrosity, you'd better..." He says before remembering he was on radio only. Instead he reached up and pulled a long slide on his rifle with an ominous KA-CHANK and a slow whine of the weapon powering up. When Borgue gestures him to stay back, the capitan stays back, switching back on his external mike and glaring at ZTGZ.

And your ether weapons don't frighten us. Yes, Bogure, we found some information on ether, despite your efforts to conceal it. We are the child of Charon, our power is *his power, your technology can not harness that. Use ether weapons on us and we will make you suffer for it.

**The left head speaks again.**

**The general leaned on the armored soldier for a moment and said nothing as the Lawbringer spoke to him. His mind still echoes from the cold foot steps of the inhuman intruder. Once ZTGZ was gone Bogure stood up under his own power. The mind probe had weakened him but the general was quickly recovering. Bogure's star covered eyes fall on Aliexster.**

I managed to keep the important information on ether from him, but fed *him enough minor data to satisfy his curiosity. His ego won't allow him to *see you as a threat and this will keep us safe while we're here.

**Bogure telepathically scans the area.**

I think we should head inside of the complex. We'll find what we need inside.

**Bogure stands tall and straightens out his uniform before walking towards the entrance of the research facility. As he walks he speaks to Aliexster.**

Lawbringer's are the top rung on the food chain within the Negation military. They answer only to the empreror. They're extremely powerful and even more unstable. Lawbringers are only used when the situation not only calls for the absolute destruction of your enemy but also their friends, family, pets, houses and their entire planet. They're the last resort.
During the invasion the Lawbringers were meant to battle the First. That guantlet that ZTGZ has was marked with a First symbol. It's probably some kind of trophy that he took off of one of his fallen enemies.

**As Bogure approaches the front door of the facility two sentries in standard issue Negation body armor look over the general and the ether armored soldiers. After a few moments of speaking to their superiors over their helmets communications system they allow Bogure and the group to enter the massive building. Once inside of the structures cavernous halls Bogure continues speaking to Aliexster in a quiet tone.**

ZTGZ will be as powerful as any First. He's to be avoided while we're here. If you're forced to interact with him give him what he wants and don't challenge him. But if he proves to be too big of a threat to us and our mission then we'll deal with him.

The Lawbringer's don't need to be mentioned in military regulations, since they've held their place in the chain of command for thousands of years. Every general and commander knows that the Lawbringers outranks them. Since your project and missions wouldn't have brought you in contact with Lawbringers I had decided that there was little point in making you aware of their unique status, until now.
As for pronouncing his ZTGZ name, I believe it would be easiest for you to pronounce it like Ztoogez.

((As in Three Ztoogez. ;) ))

**After several minutes of walking through the extensive halls of the facility they arrive at Bogure's destination, a massive conference chamber that is filled with star faced Negation generals and a variety of alien commanders from dozens of different species. Bogure enters the conference room and sits down near the back of the chamber in order to observe the meeting of the hundreds of gathered sceintists and military leaders. The gathering is in the middle of a discussion on transdimensional physics and various theories on the nature of the barrier that bars their return home. Bogure watches silently.**

Aliexster takes up position standing right behind where Borgue is sitting simply standing at attention watching the procedings going on. The preciding general went on, describing the major formating difference between the inherant energies of this universe when an aid runs in and whispers into his ear. "What do you mean the Shilvershrike is here? That was the Flagship of the primary invasion fleet, we lost contact with it when they started to move on the First Homeworld!"

"Well sir, we still haven't had any contact with it yet," The aid says, "The ship is totally silent, we don't have any energy signatures *from it. The thing just jumped into the edge of the system and now it's coasting our way. The ship seems to have some extensive damage on it, but not by any sort of weapon we have seen..." The room starts to buzz with this latest news about a Grand Dreadnought coming right up to their doorstep.

**The gathering begins to break apart and reconfigure itself. It's an odd sociological square dance as the scientists and commanders of the room make their way from one group and to another. Eventually those within the conference form into smaller groups who seem to be focused on discussing aspects of the situation with the like minded. Scientists become excited about gaining access to the interdimensional jumpgate of the Silvershrike. The military generals salavate over the idea of getting their hands on the ships awesome weapons. A few worry about the strangeness of the vessels appearance and its ominous approach.
In the center of this chaos sits a lone island of calm, Bogure shows no reaction for a few moments. He reaches into his coat and retrieves his communicator.**

Bogure to Interceptor, scan the approaching Grand Dreadnaught. I want all available sensors focused on it. Show me what you find.

**The communications device lights up as it projects a small hologram of the dreadnaught. First the standard Negation sensor readings are projected over the holographic vessel. This shows just what was reported. A moment later the findings of the modified scanners of the Interceptor are shown. These modifications allow greater sensativity when it comes to ether radiation and universal energy in general. Several "blips" appear on the holographic ship. Bogure nods to the projected vessel and the blips it contains.**

Captain, in your professional opinion what are these energy signatures?

**Bogure knows that these readings could be any number of things, residual magic from a fight, dead Lawbringers, an uncharged sigil, or possibly a First artifact of power. But the feeling in the pit of his stomach tells him that no matter what the ship contains it is only bringing trouble.**

As the two view the scan of the Silvershrike, several other Generals come to circle about them. "Well gentlemen, since you seem to have a ship in orbit that has some rather impressive scanning equipment, I think that you should have the 'honor' of leading the team to reclaim our great flagship. I am certain that Charon willing, we will be able to utalize the most advanced technology in the Negation empire to get back home." Letting out a long sigh, one of the generals says, "Besides, I'm certain that there's nothing to do up there than save the survivors and to bring the ship into dock. It should be a cake walk, even for you Borgue." Several snickers run through the crowd.

**The center head calmly elaborates.**

Many of our brothers and sisters were assigned to the Silvershrike's battle group. Some might be aboard. I will command the mission. And if you and your crew fails me, Bogure-

**The Lawbringer's right head hisses menacingly at the general before his center head continues talking.**

-I will personally eat all of you vital organs.

**Bogure sighs as he's threatened by ZTGZ. He responds to the Lawbringer without showing his annoyance at his presence on the mission.**

Very well, ZTGZ. But we'll need more personnel if we're going to be properly prepared.

**The general stands up and casts his starry eyed stare out over the crowd. He raises his hand and begins to point at various individuals.**

You, you, you, you, you two, you and you. You're coming with.

**Bogure chose a commander who he knows has served on a Dreadnaught class vessel before, several engineers and technicians who will be able to help make any emergency repairs to the ship if it needs it, and he chooses a few of the generals who will possess just enough power to be useful in a fight. With that done Bogure uses his communications device to contact the Interceptor.**

Ten plus the ether soldiers to transport.

**Within moments all who are going on this mission are teleported onto Bogure's starship. They arrive within a small alcove in the cargo bay that contains the teleporter device. Bogure turns his attention to Aliexster.**

Captain, perpare your squad to board the Silvershrike. You'll find schematics for a Dreadnaught class vessel in the Interceptor's databanks. Download it to the ether armor's so you and your men will have a map.
The rest of you follow me.

**The general is about to turn and lead the way to the bridge, but he remembers ZTGZ is present and decides to play it safe. He turns and politely speaks to the Lawbringer.**

If that is alright with you, sir.

**Saying "sir" to the Lawbringer made Bogure feel ill. He has always hated working with Lawbringer's, they demanded more respect than they deserved. ZTGZ right head hisses at Bogure and the middle head nods in reluctant approval. With the Lawbringer's permission Bogure leads the group to the Interceptor's command center.**

After being teleported up on to the Interceptor Aliexster decides that he'll try and avoid teleportation if he can in the future. Once out of the cargo bay he heads down to the ready room telling his other stormtroopers they meet in the ready room while Aliexster draws up the plans of the dreadnought. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright everybody, get this thing in your helmet, because I don't want anybody getting lost in there! Now this is our target,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says bringing up a holographic image of the ship there were a lot of whistles and groans at seeing that the entire ship takes up all of the space above the table top, seeming to be *tangle of corridors held together by a thick shell. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright, we will be entering through this auxillary cargo port, since the primary one seems to have been welded shut by enemy fire. We will procede along this route,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says tracing a finger along the model leaving a red line along the corridors. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifOur primary objective is the Bridge, from there we'll leave several of the technicans and people who know how to run this thing up there. Then we'll probably have to delve into the engineering section to get the engines and what not back online. Now we don't know anything about what is going on in there, we don't know if it's been invaded or if there was just a great disaster on board. **The moment the Interceptor breaks orbit of the planet Bogure orders the stealth field activated. Within seconds the vessel is rendered invisible to nearly all forms of detection. A burst of power from the engines later the unseen ship is sent rocketng towards its target, the ominous Dreadnaught. The journey across the star system only lasts for a few minutes, but these are agonizingly long minutes. The anticipation runs thick on the bridge as everyone impatiently watches the main view screen. Gradually the image of the flagship becomes larger on the screen. The bridge crew seems to hold their breath as the Interceptor approaches the behemoth of a starship. The massive Silvershriek is easily a thousand times larger than the stealth ship and is potentially a million times more deadly. As they approach the mammoth ship those aboard the Interceptor get a better look at the damage sustained by the Silvershriek. A wide gash runs along the forward section and continues along one of the warships sides. Through this hundreds meter long canyon the inner workings of the vessel are visible, as if the Dreadnaught were some massive creature in the middle of dissection. There are also several smaller, yet still large compared to the size of the Interceptor, blast marks on the warship's hull. The Silvershriek was obviously involved in a catastrophic battle.
The Interceptor crew that looks upon the damaged ship feel a twinge of terror as they ponder what could have done this much damage to the other Negation ship. The flight of the Interceptor slows down as it falls under the shadow of the once majestic warship. As the Silvershrieks battle scarred hull blots out the stars above the steath vessel Bogure gives the command to locate the nearest docking port and attatch the Interceptor to the Dreadnaught vessel. Within minutes preperations have been made and the invisible spacecraft docks to the immense ship. Bogure immediately sits up from his command chair and uses his communicator to contact Aliexster.**

We're docked, meet us at the upper airlock.

**The general leads the way to the upper airlock that is attached to the other ship through a magnetized preasure seal. Accompanying Bogure are the Negation soldiers and technicians, as well as Lawbringer ZTGZ. Everyone except ZTGZ is wearing an environmental suit in order to protect them from the sections of the Silvershriek that are open to the vaccuum, except for Bogure who does not need air to survive and is only wearing an environmental suit in order to be able to speak to the others with the aid of his helmets oxygen supply and the comm unit. With everyone prepared Bogure gestures to the airlock and speaks to Aliexster.**

The indicated trooper steps up to the scared hull of the ship and looks at the control panel which remarkably remained untouched. Raising a finger he pushes four buttons and the door slides open quietly. Before Basquie could move, Aliexster shouts out, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright, move, move, MOVE! Just as we went over in practice, lances, get in there and secure the dock, see if there's any survivors, and if possible get som environmentals online!"http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

No sooner as he said it, the platoon moves out in three four man teams, going into the utter darkness beyond, with only the flashlights on their helments illuminating anything inside. Meanwhile the surprised stormtrooper goes up to his CO and says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThat was awfully weird..."http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

No blood, no dust, it looks like it was just hosed down a few minutes ago. **Lawbringer ZTGZ impatiently watches the work of the armored soldiers. In an annoyed growl of a voice the Lawbringer's center head comments.**

They scamper around like roaches.

**ZTGZ walks past the others and steps onto the mysterious vessel. He stops a second and reaches out with his telepathy, to find any signs of other Lawbringers. After a moment the creatures left head roars in frustration.**

Aaghr! I can not sense my brothers and sisters here. There is some sort of interference.

**The center head turns to look at Bogure.**

I am forced to follow you search party for now.

**Bogure sighs as the Lawbringer reluctantly agrees to follow him. The general had hoped that ZTGZ would lose interest in their expedition and go back to the planet. Bogure's star covered eyes fall upon Aliexster as *he gives the captain an approving nod. Bogure and the various generals, soldiers and engineers enter the Silvershriek. Bogure can't help but feel a twinge of regret seeing this magnificent vessel in this condition. He shrugs off the feeling and concentrates on the task at hand. The easy access to the ship as well as their inability to get clear readings on what's going on within this ship can only mean a trap in the eyes of the general. After a moment to think he gives out orders.**

Our primary objective is the command deck. We'll be able to access all of the ships systems from there and get a better understanding of the situation. Captain, lead the way.

While the Lawbringer behind him is fuming, Aliexster steps up to the next door muttering to himself, "Nobody can hear you because you're in a vacum and don't have a radio..." Sighing at the supposedly 'superior' being's stupidity, he looks at the panel to the next room. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifHmm, odd, it seems the air on the other side of the door has air, but this one doesn't. There's no holes here, odd, very odd...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Turning to everybody he shouts, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifEverybody brace yourselves, we'll be in an atmosphere in no time.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He then starts to open the manual lock on the inner door, slowly forcing the doors apart with an odd hissing noise being heard. With one last push, Aliexster and a couple of his men open the doors all the way bringing in a large burst of air into the room, knocking a few of them down.

Now team, let's see what's in there!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" With a wave of his hands his squad moved further into the ship in the four man group, rifles at the ready. Turning to the general and the others the capitan says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifFrom here on out we better keep moving. We'll secure the ship after getting to the bridge, but if anybody sees something weird, speak up, don't go after it yourself, that's what we're here for.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

With a wave of his hand he silently motions everybody forward, qucikly catching up to the rest of his squad. The room they pass through was much like the last one, totally sterile, it seemed to be some sort of recieving office with a couple of vending machines left behind. Still nothing too bad. Moving to the door directly across from them, the stormtroopers quickly open it once the rest of the group caught up, rushing inside like last time. This time they meet a different environment; the lights were on, but most of them were smashed giving off only dim illumination. It looked like there were several scrapes, burns, bloodstains, and gouges on the wall, spilling forth pink insulation which was waving back and forth in the slight ventelation breeze. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAll personel be on alert,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster says bringing his rifle up to bear at the ominous corridor stretching before them. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWe have definate signs of an on-board struggle. There may be unexploded grenades or surviving enemy still lurking about, stay alert!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He continues to advance with his squad looking at all of the evidence of carnage before he noticed the most defining evidence of battle was missing; the bodies.

General Bogure

**Bogure takes the lead with the second group. As he progresses into the battle scarred sections his sense of impending doom begins to grow. In his extraordinarily long life Bogure has come across a multitude of bizarre battle situations. The lack of bodies on a battle field is one of them. In the Negation universe there are preditory animals, and on occassion sentients, that devour the fallen. Or on a ship like this the bodies could have been sucked out into space through decompression. An enemy could have taken the bodies for dissection. Bogure finds no signs of these and dozens of other possibilities, that fills his mind, among the wreckage. It's as if there were no casualties in whatever fight that took place here. The wary general continues to follow the armored soldiers and stays focused on his surroundings.
The soldiers and technicians following Bogure also keep a watchful eye out. The generals seem to be as uneasy as Bogure but they are mostly focused on looking for signs of life among the battle torn ship. The engineers are more focused on the ship itself. Their trained eyes look at every damaged system and make mental notes to repair that later. They try to appraise how well the whole ship will function with each damaged system that they pass by. The engineers have to restrain themselves from testing and fixing the wreckage around them.
The Lawbringer silently stalks behind the group. It's three heads look around in annoyance of this broken ship and the mysterious psychic jamming field that surrounds it. ZTGZ's patience in this search of a seemingly dead ship grows shorter with each passing minute. The beast is tempted to just vaporize the entire vessel and move on to more important bussiness, but his need to be among his own kind is restraining his rage and fury.**

The lances were advancing steadily through the ship, and as they do the blood, empty energy packs, and blast marks increase, but still there were no bodies anywhere to be seen. The company was starting to become slightly unerved at this situation, and the worst yet was the fact that the remaining evidence all indicated that the Negation forces both dealt out and took the punishment. There was nothing indicating an opposing force, like the crew was simply shooting at nothing. They went through the crew's quarters seeing the bunks errected into make shift fortifications that were torn to shreds. They were making their way through medical when something happened.

Rushing forward, few noticed that a door had slowly opened behind them, and out stepped a humanoid figure clad in black leather, blood splattered, and with several bolts and staples stitched all through it's body. The thing moved forward towards the party's Lawbringer in a slow steady step, a quartet of red glowing eyes over a thin mouth. One of the engineers turned about and stopped dead in his tracks, "Lawbringer TRZC, you're still alive!!!!!" Still the Lawbringer kept advancing until it was several feet away from ZTGZ, looking at his torso.

**The head on the right, which is little more than a fanged mouth, senses something is not right and hisses at the apperance of the silent Lawbringer. ZTGZ' center head pays no attention to the warning of its hissing part and steps towards TRZC.**

Come here, brother, let me use my power to fix what those fools have done to you.

**The grotesque head on the *Lawbringer's left adds his comment.**

And then we'll make them pay!

**The way the arriving Lawbringer moves is errily familiar to Bogure. He's seen enemies move that way across the battlefield on Planet M, when he fought Lestat's undead forces. The general deactivates his helmets voice module, so that only those wearing environmental suits or ether armors can hear him over their com devices.**

Get ready to defend yourselves, something's not right about this. I don't think TRZC is alive.

**The other generals and technicians are unsure what Bogure is talking about. To them "up and walking around" is alive. They have not had the misfortune of facing the nightmarish enemies that Bogure has had to fight.**

Hearnig Borgue's warning Aliexster turned to look at the new Lawbringer, what the general had said slowly sinking in. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifBut if he's still walking about...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Meanwhile his company turned and slowly advanced towards the reunited lawbringers, cautiously.

Before he could grasp the general's meaning, TRZC takes several steps forward, arms outstretched, seemingly to embrace his brother. When he does it is a rather tight hug, even for their kind, and still he doesn't say a word. In a split second a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth opens up in his head and he lunges at ZTGZ, digging them deep and tearing off a large chunk of flesh. With surprising strength he manages to force his bigger brother to the ground, digging razor sharp claws into his skin and went down for another bite.

Aliexster stood there shocked, reliving the horrors from that word where he last saw Danae and Kaylor, full of the walking dead and how he almost became one of them. The gnashing of teeth, the smell of rotting flesh, the moaning of the damned, it was all coming back to him. It wasn't until one of his men turned to him and asked, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifSir!?!?! What should we do?!?!?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" They weren't sure if he should strike the other Lawbringer, inviting both of their wrath upon them.

Then the other memories started to well up inside of him, the fury of battle, of knee capping zombies and whacking off heads with a shovel. The hatred of these unnatural things came back to him and he had only one thing to say, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifKILL IT!!!!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says ramming a shell home. Immediately his men snapped into action, forcing their way to the back of the group, one corpral coming up to give what was formerly TRZC a good boot to the head that sent him flying off the still living Lawbringer. Without worrying about hitting a fellow Negation force, the stormtroopers opened fire upon the undead Lawbringer, spewing laser bolts as fast as they could. Unfortunately it didn't do much and the beast stood up and hissed at the fireing troopers as their shots sort of dissapated on him. Several of the brighter troopers cranked their rifles on to the heavy setting and those did a little more damage, actually sending the beast lurching back a bit and causing a large burn mark where it hit. Still the thing kept coming, intent on devouring his brother.

Stepping over ZTGZ, Aliexster leveled his Gauss rifle and aimed it at TRZC's head as best he could, he knew if he missed he could take out several walls. Then the zombie lunged forward, ragged mouth gapping to assault the capitan. At that, all Aliexster could do was pull the trigger. A hollowpoint solid shell fires out of the rifle at 20% the speed of light, hitting the zombie inside of it's mouth causing the entire head to explode. As the spent shell continues to spin and bounce down the corridor, the headless body took a long step, then another, before falling over completely dead.

**Two of ZTGZ's head cry out at once while rising from the deck plating that he had been slammed into. The Lawbringer ignores his bite wound and the blood that pours out through it, instead his blue eyes are set on Aliexster. The three headed creature's golden guantlet shines with yellow light, which turns to sickly green as it flows into ZTGZ body. The monstrous left head of the Lawbringer shrieks angrily at the armored captain.**

For performing one of the worst sins possible I sentence you to death!

**Beams of destructive energy pour out of the Lawbringers eyes and streak towards Aliexster.**

Aliexster stands there a bit stunned with the goo from the head dripping down from his armor until a blast of energy hits him in the back sending him flying across the room. Landing several feet away, the captain lay still for a few minutes before slowly getting back on his feet, looking at his ether capacitor, he saw that it was a quarter full. Brushing himself off he says calmly, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifQuite a punch you have there. But that is besides the point, I do not think you grasp the severity of what happened here.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says stepping up to look the Lawbringer to look him in the eyes.

"http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThat thing you called a brother had become one of the walking dead. I have dealt with these things extensively and he showed all the signs; uncordinated motor movement, unfocused eyes, inability to speak, and most notably a taste for living flesh. Which should be all too clear to you,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says sticking an armored finger in the gapping wound on ZTGZ chest. Drawing it out, he noticed that the skin about the bite was rather sickly looking, more than his bite was and seemed to slowly be spreading.

"http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifOne would think that someone with three heads would be smart enough to realize something was seriously wrong with him,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster says not flinching from the monstrosity before him while the rest of his squad was edging farther away. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifNow, we have a problem, because if the pathogen who was able to infect that monstrosity, then it is almost certain that it has gotten to the rest of the crew. Which would explain why we have not found any bodies yet, because they're still moving about. But you,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says pointing to ZTGZ's middle head, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifHave a rather big problem, within 48 hours you will become one of the walking dead. Taking a step back and to the side Aliexster looks down the corridor they came from, almost certain that he heard a far away groan advancing towards them. **Bogure is slient through ZTGZ's tantrum and attack, instead he's focusing all of his energy on his latent mind control power, that he developed because of his contact with one of the orbs of power. Trying to reign in the mind of a Lawbringer is normally an impossible, and potentially lethal, feat that Bogure would never attempt, but he needed to prevent ZTGZ from either killing Aliexster or getting killed by Aliexster, because if the zombie Lawbringer is a creation of Lestat's they'll need all of the firepower that they can get. The general focuses his power on the mind of one of ZTGZ heads, since the heads that aren't in control seem to become dormant and easier to access through telepathy. Bogure also takes advantage of ZTGZ rage, which is directing his attention entirely on Aliexster. After a brief psychic struggle with the Lawbringer's mind Bogure manages to convince the creature's center head to spare the captain and to listen to reason. The effort leaves Bogure with a migrane and blood trickling out of his nose and ears, but it's all worth it as he sees the Lawbringer calm down and follow Aliexster. Bogure takes a moment to catch his breath and despite the fact that the room seems to be spinning to him the general continues their trek through this ghost ship.**

Seeing the Lawbringer get into line, Aliexster moved towards the the front of the group but stops to look at the general. Several bursts of laser fire later the rear guard responds, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifSIR! Zombies, it's the rest of the crew plus some other people that must have been the original boarding party! They're coming out of the wood work, we're cut off from the Interceptor!!!!!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Things since then started to disolve into constant laser fire.

Turning to everybody Aliexster shouts, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright, everybody let's get going to the bridge, double time people! You guys in the back, make sure that the rear guard keeps up with us, I'm NOT going to loose anybody to these things!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" With that him and the lead lance making it's way to the bridge as fast as they can without leaving the group behind. Taking a glance behind him, it was hard to tell which group were the officers and the walking dead save for the lasers tracing through the rear of the formation.

Running into something brought Aliexster back to his duty, a moan right near his ear forced him to turn to see he has run into another zombie who had him grappled. The rest of the lead lance started to blast his companions while the one in front of the Capitan bent down to try and take a bite out of his neck. Fortunately there was an inch of titanium/ceramic composite over it, chipping the undead's teeth and protecting him from a rather nasty wound. Bringing his rifle up, Aliexster pushed the zombie away from him, butted him in the head with his rifle, sending it further back, and pulled his laser pistol shooting it square between the eyes. As it went down several more were leerching towards them. Swearing he turned to his men, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWe don't have time for this! Everybody get back, I'll clear the way for us.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Openning the Gauss rifle's chamber, Aliexster slid out the normal hollow point round and stuck a canister of ball-bearings wrapped in light plastic. Ramming it home he brought it up to his shoulder taking careful aim, seeing the army of the undead getting rather close and as far as he can see. The lead zombie lunged towards the barrel of the gun just as the capitan pulled the trigger.

It was all over in less than a second, the plastic containing the BB's disintegrated from the power, heat, and momentum put upon it, freeing it's cargo to go it's merry way. The first few yards of the undead were practically vaporized, leaving only a greasy smear on the walls and floor. The next several zombies were torn to shreds leaving little chunks of themselves all over the floor as the BB's were now bouncing off the hallway walls, leaving them bent and blistered. The last few zombies got away lucky, only getting knocked down and having various bits of their body torn off. The command lance moves forward blasting the remaining undead in the head, silencing them and allowing the rest of the group to move forward.

**Bogure remained silent throughout the battle. He would occassionally tap into hs own supply of universal energy and fire an energy bolt at the zombies, but his mind was preoccupied with other matters. If the undead was involved then all of his allies could potentially end up as his enemies. The other generals haven't adapted to the energies of this universe yet so they won't be much of a threat, but ZTGZ and the ether soldiers are another matter entirely. They could do considerable damage to Bogure. As Aliexster leads the way further into the ship the general wonders if he'll have to destroy the captain before this mission is over. If it is the blood god behind these zombies Bogure can't allow Aliexster and the secrets of ether technology to fall into enemy hands.
While they are continuing forward through the ship Bogure opens a secure com-channel on to the Interceptor, so no one else can hear. The general orders his crew to activate a descrete, and undetectable, target lock on Aliexster's armor. And the moment he gives the command they are to fire on him. Bogure then shuts down the com-channel and silently hopes that he won't have to give that order.**

**Lawbringer ZTGZ followed the others but did not assist in the fighting. He felt that these undead things were beneath him and he shouldn't waste his energy on them. Instead the Lawbringer focused his attention on Aliexster.**

Your armor allowed you to survive my righteous light, how? Negation armor can't do that.

**The creature's left head gives a suspicious glance as Bogure as he wonders what the general has been working on during his time in this universe.**

Aliexster turns to ZTGZ, letting his lance take care of the several zombies that pop up along the way. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifYou're right, Negation armor can't take it, that is why I invented these suits of armor; to deal with those super powered First that you have been having so much trouble with. It absorbs the unstable energy, such as the type you shot me with and converts it into ether that the suits turns into power to fuel the laser rifles. It's quite ingenious if I must say so...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Eventually they come to a T sections where the captian stops and points on the left corridor, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThere, the bridge should be up the corridor, then up a flight of stairs. We're almost there people!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Almost as soon as he says that several blasts of entropic energy shoot form the end of the hall rusting thesides of the wall, hitting two of the stormtroopers. They went flying back and hit the ground, but thankfully they stood back up. Down there he saw seven zombies down there, they weren't normal zombies. Two of them were glorious First, dressed in finery, now they were eyeless corrpses with tattered clothes. Before them are what looked like teenagers who were dressed insimilar fashion, Seducae who have fallen under the undead's song. In the center is what could only be an undead Lawbringer, a humanoid spider who was missing a few legs and who's face was disjointed from it's skull. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifOkay, this is really bad...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster says as the undead super-beings start to advance upon them.

**Bogure's instict is tto fall back, back to the Interceptor, back to the planet. With the assembled fleet of ships they could possibly destroy-
Bogure realizes that even with all of the gathered ships working together they wouldn't have the fire power needed to even dissable this titanic vessel. But falling back to the Interceptor might give them a chance to turn this into a defensive battle. They could then force their enemies to advance directly into the line of fire. Already the general's mind is deciding on the best points that will give them the greatest advantages along the path back to the Interceptor. Unfortunately Bogure's strategies fail to make it past the planning stages. His ideas are dependant on the aid of Lawbringer ZTGZ, who has just lunged towards the group of undead while shouting out with his center head.**

Death to the First!

**The Lawbringer's gauntlet covered hand glows with golden to sickly green energy as he fires destructing eye beams at an undead First. Bogure mutters a few curses under his breathe. The general's plans fall apart since they would need ZTGZ firepower to properly battle the undead gods, but now with the three headed Lawbringer attacking their enemy head on he'll never be able to fall *back safely. So Bogure has no alternative but to follow the strongest member of their search party and hope that things don't turn out as hopeless as they seem. Bogure shouts out orders to those around him.**

Aliexster, get your squad up front. Absorb whatever universal energy they throw at us and hit them with everything you've got. The rest of you fall back and shoot at anything that's rotting.

**Bogure holds up both hands and lets loose several bolts of blue energy at the bulkheads on either side of the approaching enemy. The general tries to collapse the walls and force the zombies closer together so it'll be easier for the others to shoot them.**

The stormtrooper squad tries to move back as the undead hords slam up against them as the walls come down, but not creating the impenitrable barrier Borgue wanted. Mostly the ship was formulated with a honeycombed construction material with insulating foam and struts in every other cell. While there is a lot of stuff on the floor, the zombies take no notice and start to climb up over it, literally biting at the stormtrooper's heels. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifSir! We can't fall back! We can't *THWACK* disengage long enough for the next line to take our place! They're right upon us!!!!! *Smack, smack, CRACK!*http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Seeing everything disolve about them Aliexster sighs, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWe can't go back, so we have to go forward. Everybody, get to the bridge as fast as you can, take out anything that's shambling. Men, lay down supressing fire while slowly retreating, my lance and I will deal with the undead First!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" With that the four free stormtroopers take up possition in a line next to their captian, shifting their rifles to the concentrated setting and taking aim at the super zombies. Raising his own rifle, Aliexster takes aim at the undead Lawbringer, thaat ZTGZ is avoiding and shouts out, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifFIRE!!!!!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" The side corridor errupted in laser fire as the stormtroopers concentrated on a single Seducae, blowing limbs off and singing it, until it finally stopped moving, then moving on to the next one. The Gauss rifle shell this time doesn't blow the undead Lawbringer's head, instead knocking it into the wall with a meaty thud and a smear of ichor. The next shot this time went straight through, what might have been, it's black heart putting the vile thing down.

Behind him, Aliexster could hear the sound of laser fire getting closer, turning to see that the door to the bridge was already open with the fleeing shadows of the Negation officals in the distance. Behind them, the firing line of ether soldiers was getting close to overun, shouting out "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifLance! After that was over he takes aim, as best he could with his rifle and fired several rounds into a First ZTGZ's main body was turned away from. It took a lot to bring this one down, he mostly just tore gapping holes in the body until he managed to hit the heart with the fourth round.

Giving a slight smile of satisfaction he turns about to see a moving cadaver lunging at him. Taking a step back, Aliexster lets the zombie fall to the floor before punting it's head towards the others who were streaming towards him. Over his headset, only some static could be heard and a couple of replies, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif... sir. ... were... overrun... T.... Raise... radio...couldn't... through. ... Fall back... others... where are you?"http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Looking at the left corridor, all Aliexster could see is undead faces as far as he can see. That is when, for the first time since he came here, he prayed to the Benign Clockmaker for mercy.

General Bogure

**Bogure provides cover fire for the others as they enter the bridge. The generals and soldiers search the command center for any hostiles, while the technicians immediately begin working on the damaged equipment in hopes of getting one command console working enough to give them some control over the ship. Bogure gives orders to the ether soldiers that had accompanied them onto the bridge.**

Stay in the doorway and don't let any of those zombies in.

**The general then turns to address everyone.**

We hold the bridge! No matter what!

**Bogure then glances around the room to take a headcount. One of the technicians is missing, possibly food for one of the zombies. Lawbringer ZTGZ is also missing, he can probably take care of himself, but if he is dead Bogure hopes it was an extremely painful death. Lastly Bogure notices Aliexster's absense. The captains knowledge of ether technology makes him too valuable to leave out there alone. Bogure steps past the line of stormtroopers by the main entrance and speaks to them as he walks away from the bridge.**

I'm going to get your captain. Keep the bridge secure and radio me if there's trouble.

**Bogure begins running down the coridoors. He releases tendrils of cosmic flame from the starry mass of energy over the top half of his face. These whips of blue fire slashes across any zombies he encounters and ignites their decaying bodies. Bogure envetually comes to a large concentration of undead creatures. It's obvious that they're swarming over something. The general opens his hands towards the rotting hordes and fires a wide beam of destructive energy at them. He uses only enough to begin to peel away the layers of decaying bodies in an attempt to get at the zombies potential meal, but without damaging it. As the disintegrating zombies crumble away Bogure is relieved to see Aliexster.**

Captain, would you care to join the rest of us on the bridge.

Crawling up over the collected viscera that were several dozen zombies who tried to tear him appart, Aliexster nodded to the general, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThank you sir, there's nothing I would rather like to do. Sorry for making you come down here, they swarmed me and I couldn't get to my pistols, it won't happen again sir.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" The capitan looked out the corner of his eye at the ether gauge on his suit, the blast Borgue used to get the zombies off of him, filled it over half way. He'd better be careful and not get mobbed like that again or the energy keeping the corpses moving would overload his suit, and that would be bad for everybody.

They were walking back towards the stairwell that lead up to the bridge when a blast door immediately slamed shut in both of their faces, giving off a final click, locking it in place. Stepping back and looking at the code pad that controlled the door, Aliexster tried to move the blast doors, but instead the panel seemed to come alive and bite his finger with button teeth. Screaming in surprise, the capitan took several steps back, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWhat the heck was that?!?! Now you can't tell me that was normal!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Almost as soon as he uttered the words, than the lights right above them went out, but the sound of the florecent tubes still hung in the air. Slowly some green lightning started to form about the light closest to the blast door before it exploded, sending the lighting to all corners of the hallway. Grabbing the general and jumping out of the way, Aliexster took one of the green bolts in the back to save his superior officer. Looking at his ether gauge, to find it starting to get into the red zone, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI was lucky that time, but I can't take another thing like that...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" That was when the green lightning formed a steady ionized wall that started to advance on the Negation officers. Getting up to his feet Aliexster says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI think this would be a good time to call a tactical withdrawl...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He then turned about and broke into a dead sprint, the lightning wall following close behind him.

General Bogure

**Bogure ran behind Aliexster as they fled from the emerald electrical storm. As he sprinted down the hall the general thought about what an ether overload would do to this vessel. Since they weren't far from the bridge they would be in the foreward section and on the higher decks. It would probably do some serious damage, but the engines would remain intact and the main cannons on the underside of the vessel would probably be operational. So the captain's armor exploding wouldn't help their situation one bit.
That's when Bogure catches something in the corner of his star covered eye, a power conduit running along the wall on his left is begining to smoke, as if it is being burned out by a power surge. The smoke travels along the conduit as if it is chasing Aliexster, and from what the general can tell it is gaining on the armored captain. The general assumes that the smoke indicates some sort of power build up that is chasing after Aliexster and waiting to strike. Without a second thought the Negation general lunges foreward. His superstrong legs carries him across the space between him and the armored officer. Bogure slams into Aliexster's back just as a massive bolt of green lightning bursts out of the smoking conduit and towards the captain. The lightning wall feeds itself through this disintegrating conduit and into General Bogure. The general's body shields Aliexster from the eletrical attack. After taking the blast Bogure falls to the deck. His back and side smokes and sizzles from the massive amounts of burns caused by the electrical discharge. Bogure lies on the floor, twitching and gasping for breath. His vision begins to go black and his limbs are cold and numb. The general feels his life draining away again for the first time in months. He manages to mutter out in mid-weeze.**

The green electrical storm starts to die down after expending all of it's energy into Borgue leaving the two in a dark corridor with only some scant lighting from further along. Getting up Aliexster looks behind him and says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifGeneral?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Craddling the Negation general in his arms, the capitan looks over his body, to see if there was anything he could do. Unfortunatley his back looked like a burnt ham hock and would have stunk something terrible if he took off his helmet. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifG-General, Borgue I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean for this to happen. I didn't think anybody would have saved me, but you did. For that I am both thankful and regretful, if you would have stayed up there, you wouldn't have been down here.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Through the voice filter, tears could be heard tapping on the microphone, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI've never had a commanding officer like you before and I doubt I ever will. You believed in me when everybody else in this universe couldn't care less, you respected me by promoting me to capitan, and you liked me by saving my life today. I'll be so lonely when you are gone sir...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster says looking down at his chest, slowly crying into his helmet.

**The sound of the mourning captain is eclipsed by the sound eminating from a nearby air vent for an instant.**


**This time the breif sound from the vent is accompanied by the vent cover next to Aliexster shifting slightly.**


**This time the sound ends with the grated vent covering popping off of the wall and crashing onto the floor. An instant later a humanoid shaped insect in a Negation environmental suit tumbes out. This four armed man is tech officer Atz and had accompanied Bogure's landing party. During the zombie attack the tech's insectoid instincts kicked in and he crawled into an airduct. He has been wandering through the environmental systems of this ship and only now has he managed to locate someone other than a walking corpse. Atz blinks his three sets of eyes as he stares fearfully at the armored soldier and the dead general that he holds.**

Aliexster's rifle was already aimed at Atz before he hit the ground but the moment he spoke, he stowed his weapon, " http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAh Atz, it's good to see someone still breathing about here. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Letting out a long sigh, he turns to look at the body of Borgue, *"http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI wish that the general was still doing so. Something... something came out of the lights and chased us. He pushed me out of the way and took the brunt of it himself. I don't know he cared about his men so much, http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says looking down at the corpse.

From down the corridor, the sound of shuffling footsteps echo off the empty corridor walls, followed by a series of random moanings. Stepping forward with his rifle, he says to the insectoid engineer, " http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAtz, stay behind me and watch the general. If one of the zombies come at you, whack it in the head with a wrench or something. http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" As he says that, another horde of zombies round the corner, lead by an undead Seducae who seemed to be able to spur them on faster. Raising his rifle he fired two slugs into the super powered undead sending him flying and gibbing several of the other troops behind him. But instead of slowing down once he's gone, the horde lurched forward, forcing Aliexster to drop his rifle and draw out his twin laser pistols. In less than a second he started to open fire, causing undead heads to explode with the searing light he was dishing. Still, every zombie he killed two more rushed forward until they were grapsing at the capitan's arms, forcing him to fire off several shots into their bodies simply to drive them back. He screams in frustration as the internal batteries of his lasers drained and his ether meter was steadily dropping. As they overcome Aliexster bearing him to the ground, the only thought coursing through his head was not letting them devour the general.

**Atz isn't sure why the captain wants the general's corps protected. On the insectoid's homeworld they used the dead for food. Although devouring generals, dead or alive, was strictly prohibited by Negation law, so that is the last thing on the technician's mind. Atz' eyes widen as the shambling corpses swarm around Aliexster. He has been amazed by the ether armor's capabilities so far but he is afraid that he may be bearing witness to the limitations of these capabilities. One of the insectoid's four arms reached behind his back and into the tool pack he kept there. He produced a plasma torch, used to cut through stingy doors or bothersome bulkheads. Knowing that his salvation didn't lie with a dead general Atz rushed foreward, activated the green stream of super heated plasma and swung it at the swarm of decaying enemies that try to overpower the captain. Atz hopes the plasma stream that can cut through the armor plating of a Negation battle cruiser within eight minutes will be enough to slice apart these zombies before they can get the chance to swarm over him. Even as the plasma boils away rotted meat from his enemy Atz is thankful that his environmental suit blocks out all smells.**

Struggling in the writhing mass of undead, the only thing Aliexster could hear was his breathing and the slight ding of the zombies trying to bite through his armor. Thankfully it was holding up, but sooner or later, either by teeth or dehydration, he would die just laying here. Suddenly the pressure on his legs eased up and he could see some sort of odd green light through the bodies of the undead. Pushing up, using all of the suit's strength, the capitan manages to push the zombies off him for a second, giving him enough time to roll out of the throng, hopping to his feet and bringing his pistols to bear again. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the insectoid engineer firing off his plasma torch at the unrelenting mob, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThank you Ensign, but we need to end this quickly!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Looking at the ether gauge in his helmet, he found he still had a little less than half his tank, but looking at his pistols, the barrels were turning a glowing white instead of it's traditional chrome finish and knew he couldn't keep this up. Kicking the lead zombie back and dropping his guns Aliexster reaches into a satchel and pulls out a plasma grenade. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright you ankle-biting undead freaks, EAT THIS!!!!!!" Pulling the pin, he throws it over the heads of the undead, landing in the middle of them while Aliexster silently prays that the kill radius he read on the manual was acurate. A few seconds later there was a tight burst of plasma released, causing a tremendous explosion, vaporizing most of the zombies nearby, the rest were either burt to a crisp or rended limb from limb. The shockwave from the blast knocked both of the living Negation soldiers on their bums, or thorax, covering them with rotten vicera.

Wiping the chared remains off his visor, Aliexster looked about but saw no more zombies shambling towards them. Letting out a sigh of relief he turns to Atz, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAre you alright bug boy?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

**Atz shakes off his amazement and looks over his environmental suit before responding.**

Yes sir, I am fine.
That was incredible! You've destroyed all of them. For a moment there I thought for sure we were done for.

**His expression then changes to one of fear, which looks like a vacant look on his face to a human. But his voice conveys his sudden panic clearly enough.**

Not that I was implying that I didn't have confidence in you, sir. I'm just a technician and a very poor judge of combat situations.

**The insectoid technician climbs up off of the deck and begins to wipe some of the zombie bits off of himself. The sight of rotted flesh brings back memories of the larvae that he left behind when he was assigned to the invasion. He wonders how much they've grown. But soon his many eyes returns to Aliexster and the situation at hand.**

What do we do now, sir? Should we find the others and try to get back to the Interceptor?

Squatting down on the edgings near the bottom of the floor, Aliexster simply breathed heavily, trying to calm down from the situation that they just went through. With Atz's comment the Capitan's only response was, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI only did what was needed to be done, nothing more.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He didn't listen as he tried to apologize to his superior for nothing, just resting listening to his own heart beat, it seemed so odd now. It wasn't beatting a mile a minute back on Garthak, but was simply racing at a steady pace, he wondered why this was, was he getting used to all this violence? When the bug mentioned getting out of there, Aliexster suddenly came back to the real world. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifYes, you're right we should get going, pick up the general's corpse, I'll go up front and deal with anything that gets in our way.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Slinging his gauss rifle over his shoulder, the capitan heads back towards the stairs to the bridge.

Once there, the only thing that was there was the door, sealed sut with black blast marks all about it. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWell the door is intact which is good, but I don't think it'll budge,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster comments looking at the code panel. Pressing a few buttons proved useless as they didn't light up, emit any sound, or even sparking, it was totally dead. Cursing a bit he slams a fist agaisnt the door that was sealed shut, suddenly something happened, the door moved but instead of opening it sort of twisted. Letting out horrifying squealing of twisting metal, the central latch opens up to reveal what looks like a glass eye that stares right back at them. Backing up in surprise he cries out, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWhat the heck is that thing!?!?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before any sort of answer could be given, the eye started to glow a familar green glow. Grabbing one of Atz's arms, he says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifMove your thorax unless you want it to be blasted off!!!!!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" With that he runs down the hall, throwing the insect to one side corridor as he seeks cover as well. Behind him the entire hall was filled with an errie green light, scourching the edges of the walls for a minute straight. Once it was over with Aliexster peers around the corner and sees the door just like it was before, a normal door. **Atz peaks out of the small maintenance alcove that he had been shoved into. His antenna nervously twitch as he looks around at the scorched hall. He gradually convinces himself to abandon the small space that had protected him from the deadly burst of energy. Slowly the insectoid's senses return and he tries to respond to his commander's question.**

It's the First, it has to be. Remember all of those training simulations that had to be taken before the invasion of this universe, the First currupt all they touch. Their unholy power brings only chaos and death. This has to be the work of the First.

Still that's besides the point, we got to get back to the others as soon as possible.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Walking away from the door, Aliexster looks away from him to *work the radio in his helmet, "This is Captain Vlaingrouski back on the main deck, can anybody hear me? Please, Interceptor, away team, anybody." He repeats the message getting nothing but static for several minutes.

Then something faint comes over, "Capitan Vlaingrouski? This is Corpral Yves, I'm just getting you, had to boost everything from the ship's antena, although it was tough. Where the heck are you?"

Letting out a relieved sigh, Aliexster responds,"Thank the Benificent Clockmaker I got you. I'm fine, I'm covered in zombie guts, but alright. Unfortunately, I'm sad to report General Borgue didn't make it, some energy thing came out of the wall and fried him. I'm down here with engineer Atz, the way up to the bridge near here is sealed off. What is your situation?"

A sigh comes through the mike, "We're in a bad way, we all got up here, although there was an ambush or two, some people got hurt, bitten, but they seem to be doing alright. We've seccured ourselves in the bridge, the zombies keep whacking themselves against the door, but they can't get through. There's even a few on the outside, but they're having a hard enough time not floating away from the ship."

Nodding, "Okay, watch those bitten, they should be alright for another 48 hours, but be careful, if they seem to slip off into unconciousness and don't seem to be breathing, shoot them in the head." Taking a second to let the orders lay in, Aliexster continues, "Can you do me a favor, can you look at the ship's schematics and find an alternate way up to the bridge? Until then continue with your mission save for heading to the engine room, just do the best you can up there."

"Aye sir!" Yves says, with some typing he says, "Well it seems like about everything is down save life support even the warp drive, which is rather surprising. About the plans, it seems like the computer is down completely, it's not coperating at all. But if this is a standard dreadnought, then there should be a *BZZZZTTTT* down on the *BZZZTTTT* that should lead you up to," Then the radio explodes into static.

Turning off the radio he turns to the insect engineer, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWell, what ever was wrong with the radio is back. We don't know a way to get up to the bridge, so pick up Borgue's body and let's head down. I think that there should be something on a lower level that might be able to get to the bridge. I'll take point, just scream if you see anything unusual behind you.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He then starts to walk off into the corridors of the ship.

**Atz gives Aliexster a quick salute before reaching down to pick up Bogure's corpse from the deck and sling the general over his shoulder. The insectoid technician loyally follows the captain through the halls of this forboding ship. Occassionally Atz would give a cautioned glance behind him in search of some unspeakable terror, and after a few minutes his nervous search finds just what it was intended to find, an unspeakable teror. Atz screams at the sight of the terror limping towards him, as he was ordered to do but he isn't thinking about orders as he backs away from the thing behind him. Limping towards Atz and Aliexster is a battered Lawbringer ZTGZ. His inhuman right head hangs lifelessly from his shoulder. The most human of the three, the center head, is beaten and bloody but otherwise fine. The monstrous head on the right appears pale and rotted, flesh partially hangs off of his skull, but it appears animated and even whispers to the center head. The Lawbringer's left hand grips the severed head of an undead Secundae, but ZTGZ is unaware he even has such a trophy from his earlier battles. He also drags his right leg, which has been twisted entirely around and occassionally twitches, as he limps forward. He lifts up his guantlet and blood covered right hand and swats at the rotting left head in order to silence it as the center head calmly speaks to Aliexter and Atz in a distant voice.**

I have freed my fellow Lawbringers from undeath, and I have sent many First to an end as well, let's leave.

**The left head whispers a little louder so the center head won't be able to dismiss it as easily.**

Eat their flesh. Sweet life clings to their bones, waiting for you to peel it off with your teeth. Feed on them.

**The center head does not seem to acknowledge the other one as continues to speak.**

Let's go back to the Interceptor. I will rest.

When he hears some skittering from the insectoid ensign Aliexster whips about, gauss rifle at the ready but lowers it a bit when he sees it's ZTGZ, but is rather suspicious about the Lawbringer. He doesn't look that long for this world, and *the capitan didn't want to risk the crew of the Interceptor with an undead Lawbringer. Looking square into the remaining sane head, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifNo, ZTGZ, the rest of the away party is trapped on the bridge and this place is crawling with walking plauge carriers. If one of them get off of this ship, it could easily infect the rest of the Interceptor until nothing is left breathing. Effectively this ship is quarentined until we can find a way to get this ship under control and stop it from going further into the system. Then we get everybody together who is still alive, get EVERYBODY out and treated, then we will go back to clear things out the zombies. But the most important thing is we get everybody out of here, now we need to find an alternate way up to the bridge and get everybody out of here now, let's go.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He then looks at the left head and says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI would seriously consiter watching that one. **The Lawbringer is destracted by the sudden arrival and departure of Gumshoe. The energy around ZTGZ hand fades away as his center head looks back at Aliexster. The monstrous Lawbringer sighs and calmly responds to the captain.**

We shall gather up the others and leave this place, then you will give me that cure you spoke of before. Now, let's go.

**The battered Lawbringer begins to limp down the hall in the same direction that Aliexster and Atz were walking only moments ago.
Atz clings to the deceased Bogure and huddles in a corner. His many eyes stare at the Lawbringer and his shaking legs refuse to move him forward. The insectoids entire body is frozen in terror of ZTGZ.**

We got to get out of here, unless you want to spend several hours down here, alone, with the walking dead waiting for them to find and eat you. **ZTGZ's middle head shakes from side to side as his features wrinkle and twist in frustration.**

I do not know the way to the bridge. I was turned around during the battle. You armored things were meant to act as navigators. Isn't that what you said Bogue?

**The Lawbringer looks at the dead general, expecting answers. The left, undead head chuckles as it realizes the obvious truth that its living part is too disorientated to catch. The middle head once again shakes his head as he dismisses Bogure entirely. He instead returns his focus on Aliexster.**

Lead the way and point out what needs to be destroyed. I would hate to incinerate those you seek.

**Atz slowly walk over to Aliexster and cautiously nods his head to the captain's words. The insectoid does not remove his fearful gaze from the partially dead Lawbringer. He has only seen a few Lawbringers in his lifetime, but he has never seen one in this condition. During the earlier conflict with the zombie Lawbringers Atz was too busy looking for a way to escape to get a good look at them. Now to see ZTGZ as a dying, rotting thing like this is more horrifying than anything else he's seen in this place. The engineer remains close to Aliexster and keeps an eye on the Lawbringer. If the dying creature should turn on them Atz doesn't know what he'd do, he couldn't pray for divine salvation. How could he pray to Charon to stop one of his children. Why would Charon side with this lowely insect rather than his own flesh and blood. The engineer follows Aliexster and hopes the armored human will be enough if the worst should happen.**

Aliexster sighs, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright, I was just hoping there would have been an easier way, but we'll just have to keep going and hope we get lucky. Don't worry, I'll be sure to tell you which things should be blasted and which shouldn't.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Continuing on the corridor, the capitan just commented to himself how ZTGZ was like an irate pitbull, born mean and ugly, trying to get get out all that agression on the nearest thing, no matter how big. Looking at his side, he saw the insectoid engineer following him, hauling Borgue's body on his back, obviously scared that something will jump out of a dark corner to devour him. Giving a long sigh, the soldier wonders how he got into the military with his yellow streak.

After several minutes, Aliexster finds something rather interesting, a pair of elevators that lead up all through the ship. Pressing the call button, surpisingly it light up as the elevator came down the shaft, as it does so the capitan draws one of his laser pistol as it nears their position. With a ding the doors open revealing a rather obese Negation general was waiting there, and lunged towards them with rotting teeth bared with a horrifying hiss, only to be meet with another hiss as a laser bores through it's forehead. Once the zombie general is down, Aliexster holsters his gun and sighs, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifSo predictable...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Kicking the body into the hallway with a sickening thud motioning everybody inside. Hitting the button for the bridge once everybody was inside, Aliexster waits for the ride up, simply staring forward, waiting for the doors to open once again.

It was barely two minutes after entering the elevator, the sound of grinding metal was heard all about them while they were slowing down a bit. Soon the grinding sounds stopped all together along witht he elevator, pressing the call button frantically Aliexster wonders out loud, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWhat the heck's going on?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before anybody could answer the elevator started to drop quickly down the shaft forcing a scream out of the capitan. Knowing they would be dead if they didn't do something, Aliexster turns to the Lawbringer and says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifIf you can fly, I'd severly suggest you do so...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says taking as good a hold as the monstrosity in front of him.

**The Lawbringer looks at Aliexster with a confused expression for a moment, as if he didn't know what the human is talking about. ZTGZ has felt dizzy, disorientated and as if the world were falling around him ever since one of those undead things bit him and so the falling elevator goes unnoticed. The Lawbringer shrugs slightly, which causes his dead head to roll around slightly and hovers in place. As the falling elevator's cieling comes down towards him he destroys it with one swipe from his energy sheathed hand. The elevator falls around them and continues down the shaft as ZTGZ hovers. The creature's middle, and still living, head turns to glance at the human that is holding onto him.**

Is this truly the way to the bridge? I feel disgusted at having a lesser being touch me. There must be an easier way than this.

**The Lawbringer's left head whispers a few suggestions into the other ones ear and laughs uncontrollably for a few minutes. The middle head seems to not even notice the words of its undead counterpart.**

**Atz had managed to grab ahold of Aliexster's boot before the elevator fell from beneath them. The insectoid now has a firm grip on the human's armored foot with two hands while the other two hands are used to hold on to Bogure. The engineer calls out to the captain.**

B-but early diagnostics indicated that the elevators were one of the few systems that was running smoothly!

Shutting off his ether armor for a few minutes so that they wouldn't drop to the bottom of the shaft, holding on tightly to the Lawbringer, slipping once in a while due to the gaunthlets he wore and the sickly state of the monster he's holding on to. Looking about them, the capitan can barely see the shaft they were in, it looked a tad odd, there seemed to be blood running down it's sides, fresh blood. Looking down at what is left of the car, he thought he could see something moving down there, which would mean that that isn't the way they want to go. Looking up another horror meet him, the ceiling was moving towards them and he thought he could see something up there as well. A few moments later, he could see teeth, a great maw advancing down upon them chewing up what's left of the cable into small strands of metal. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWell I bet that isn't normal!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Frantically looking for a way out of this, hethought he could see a door through the flowing blood. Unhitching his gauss rifle, Aliexster points it at the door and shouts, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThis is our stop!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Pulling the trigger, he blew a hole through the shaft and into another dark corridor.

**The undead portion of ZTGZ shouts out as it and its living counterpart stare upward at the descending doom.**

Yes! Grind them up! They will be easier to devour that way!

**The living head of the Lawbringer brings his attention to whatever Aliexster has shot at and flies at it. ZTGZ is moving on instinct and flying at what he assumes is an enemy but instead he manages to duck into the hallway on the other side of the shattered door, with his clinging passengers along with him. Once safely on solid ground the Lawbringer starts pushing the human and insectoid off of him with an annoyed sneer on his lips.**

You defile a Lawbringer when you touch them with your unworthy hands. That shall be a strict mark on your record.

**The creature looks at the corpse that Atz holds on to.**

I expected more dicipline from your people, Bogure. Renegade or no, you are still a Negation general.

**The dead general says nothing. ZTGZ's undead portion begins to gnaw on some of the tattered leather of its collar while the middle head seems to go into a momentary daze.**

As soon as they are over a solid floor, Aliexster lets go of the Lawbringer, rolling about, he stops with one of his legs extended, just as he was about to hit the opposing wall. Getting to his feet, Aliexster watches as the almost fleshy wall passes the hole, filling in the gap with squirming, pulsating metal. Then it went still, the door fusing into just another wall like nothing had ever happened. Running a hand over his helm, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI don't know what is *going on here, but it is more than a simple undead infestation. It's like this ship is alive and doesn't like us milling about inside her.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

When the Lawbringer comments about the sin and stuff, Aliexster just waves a hand dismissively at the thing, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifYea, yea, just put it on my tab. It'll pay you back in prayer beads and abdicating from all sugary food for a year, but that's not what's important now. What is important is to get the rest of the squad out of here, then we can sort things out.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" When ZTGZ talked down to the corpse of the general, Aliexster grumbles a bit as he flips back on the ether intake of the power armor, just to be safe.

Looking at the corridors, something came through on Aliexster's communicator, holding a hand near his ear he says, "What was that? I thought I heard someone out there, please answer if you are out there. This is Capitan Vlaingrouski, please repeat !"

Through the static he could hear someone coming through, "Cap... found something. ... not ... malfunction... strange... ship... phenomenon. Unholy... all about... in the computer... text hurt my head. Not in the Negation alphabet... unprecidented language. ...turned off. Thankfully... doesn't have much... over bridge, so ...safe... Still... no control... can't access... shut off."

Listening to the scattered transmition Aliexster tries to piece together what was said, "Alright, if I'm getting this right, there's something in the computer, some odd program written in an unknown language that's doing all of this? If I'm right tap twice for yes, once for no." Waiting for a moment, the capitan heard two taps, "Alright then, and you can't do ANYTHING with the computer up there?" Once again two taps, "Then you think that if we fix the computer things will be a lot easier for us?" Once again two taps were heard, "Okay where is the computer core?"

Once agian the broken up sounds came through to him, "...4th... room 46, in front of engineering... Shutdown... 5 minutes... should reboot... more... life support will go offline."

"Alright, we're on it, hopefully we'll be down there in an hour or two and fix this entire mess so we can get out of this hellhole." Turning to his fellows Aliexster signs, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAlright you heard, we got a new game plan. What ever is causing this thing is in the computer and if we can shut it down for a while we could get rid of all of this horror, then we can get out on our leisure. Now let's get going.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" The capitan says heading downa corridor deeper into the ship's hold.

**The Lawbringer doesn't possess any communications device and so he's unaware of what Aliexster is talking about. He simply follows the armored human, or more specifically he follows his only cure. Atz on the other hand had a comm device in the helmet of his environmental suit and heard just what Aliexster had heard. The insectoid's antenna twitch nervously as he thinks about travelling deeper into the ship. But if rebooting the main computer was the only way to expel the unnatural presence from the ship's systems then he'd follow Aliexster's plan. The engineer follows the captain and continues to carry the deceased general.**

Finding a stairwell, Aliexster leads the few people still left out in this meat grinder down into the bowels of the ship. Calling up a rough scemahtic from his armor's internal computer, Aliexster says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThis is going to be tough, the computer is supposed to be deep within the engineering section and is supposed to be mantience free, so they wedged it into the most cramped, inaccescible place they could find. Nobody has probably been down there since this ship was put to service, so the more dust we find the closer we get. But I definately don't think there will be much dust left...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says pointing over to a wall that seemed to be bleeding some sort of purple ichor that definately looked organic.

It seemed like a slow decent into maddness, the further down the group went, the more twisted things became. It started with the bleeding walls, but then the square stair shaft started to bend and twist about like some sort of horrible gut, and the further they went, they started to hear things. To Aliexster and Atz, it sounded like white noise on the radio, but to ZTGZ it was like someone was perched on his shoulder, whispering obscenities into his ear. The language was unknown to all of them, but it was disturbing, it almost made their ears want to shrivel up and brain leap out of thier heads to escape what ever the voices were saying. Stopping at one level, gritting his teeth at the voiced just constantly going through his head, he shouts out, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifSTOP IT!!!!!!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Seemingly on command, the voices stop leaving them in uneasy silence.

Turning about, the captian sees where they are and checks his map, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifFloor 8, main dining area, mess, and... Here we go, auxilary access to the engines, from there it's just a hop skip and jump to the computer!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Without wasting any time Aliexster goes on to that floor, eager to get this done with, almost not noticing the slight clinking behind him until the roar of an engine grabbed his attention. Ducking just in time to avoid a chainsaw from cutting his torso off, whirling about with his rifle to give who ever did that a taste of hot nickel, the second swipe was blocked by the rifle's stock, and Aliexster got the first look at his advisary. It was a zombie to be sure, but not like the others, it's entire body was distored and seemed to have been merged with various metal plates, with a chainsaw replacing both it's hands. It hissed at the capitan, showing teeth made out of rusty nails and screws. Grunting a bit, trying to keep the saw blade away from his face, Aliexster could only mutter, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifA little help please!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

**ZTGZ is glad when the hideous whispering stops. He doesn't appreciate anyone, even a disembodied voice, speaking that way to a Lawbringer. After he's cured he'll find out who said those things and punish them, but for now he looks over the developing situation. Aliexster is being menaced by a mechanically enhanced zombie. The Lawbringer watches his only cure struggling for his life, and he doesn't seem to care. ZTGZ is finding it harder to stay connected to reality. His bodies too badly broken, in too much pain, and his mind is too fogged to grant him the focus needed to hold on to what's going on around him. His undead head seems happy enough, wouldn't he be just as happy if he gave up. Would slipping away really be that bad.**

**While the Lawbringer is uncharacteristically docile Atz's is also going through a change in personality. He can't withstand these horrors any longer, he had to get out. Aliexster was his only chance and so the technician dropped Bogure onto the deck and charged forward. He drew his sidearm, aimed it and watched as his extended, weapon carrying hand is chopped off by second chainsaw weilding zombie that has just arrived. His appendage, and the weapon it still grips, flies across the room. The hissing of the insectoids environmental suit releasing its pressurized air is blotted out by Atz's agonizing shrieks. These shrieks are cut short when the armed zombie cuts into his environmental suit covered body and ends his life.**

**Twin mechanically augmented terrors, one apathy ridden Lawbringer and his only ally chopped into bits leaves the captain in a grim situation.**

**The menace of the zombie that Aliexster struggles with is ended by an azure bolt of light striking it in its mechanically infected neck. The power beam melts through both rusted metal and rotted flesh and sends both the head and the body falling to the deck, seperately. The path of the energy attack can be followed back to where Atz had dropped General Bogure's body. The same body that is now sitting up, completely healed from his mortal wounds and once again counted as one of the living. It was his outstreched hand that had fired the attack that beheaded the zombie.
The curse that binds Bogure to an endless cycle of agonizing deaths and sudden revivals is a curious thing. It was forged by forces beyond the understanding of many, by the wish of an angry god. But the phenomenon does have a few simple rules. One such rule is that the longer Bogure goes without dying the longer it will take him to come back to life when he does die. Because it had been months since his life was ended it took him hours to be ressurected by his curse. This extra time on the other side has not shown the general anything new, he still feels the vast nothingness that awaits him after death.
When his curse finally did ressurect him he woke up to a world of terror. Lawbringer ZTGZ looked like a zombie, but unresponsive to everything. Pieces of insectoid in a Negation environmental suit littered the floor. And Aliexster is struggling with one cyborg zombie, while another approaches him from behind. Bogure instinctively reached out and fired an energy blast that decapitated the undead creature that the captain foughts with and then calls out to the ether armored soldier.**

Aliexster is rather startled at the death once again of the zombie on him and more expecially since he was dead, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifOh Benevolant Clockmaker no, not you too... Wait a second, you spoke? Zombies don't speak...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before he could get a response the other chainsaw zombie came right at him, but this time Aliexster reacted soon enough to but it upside the face forcing the beast back a foot or two. Before it could tear him a new one, Aliexster thrust the gauss rifle into it's gut and pulls the trigger, sending it back into the opposing wall with a large hole in it's chest, but that didn't put it down. Raising his rifle a little higher, he puts a hollowpoint right through it's skull finally putting it down.

Letting out a slight sigh, Aliexster puts the gun on his back and walks over to what's left of Atz and bows sorrowfully, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifRest in peace Atz...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Turning over to the general the capitan asks, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifIs it usual for you Negations generals to resurect yourselves from the dead with full mental capacities? And more importantly, do you have a pulse?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He asks fingering his dual pistols, suspicious of th person that came back from the dead.

**Bogure looks around at his surroundings for several long moments. Each ressurection brings about a horrible sense of dissorientation. He has no idea where he is or how long he's been out. He glances at ZTGZ and feels a cold mass take shape in the pt of his stomach when he thinks about what horror could possibly hurt a Lawbringer that much. Eventually the general's star covered eyes fall upon Aliexster.**

I am as alive as you are, captain. You see, in a previous battle with two First I was cursed. One of the First used a power item to wish that I would die a million horrible deaths. Since then I've been dying and coming back to life just so I could die all over again. It's an endless cycle.
Now, what have I missed while I was out of commission?

**Bogure asks his question while glancing at the remains of Atz.**

Hearing Borgue give him some coherent sentences, *Aliexster slightly relaxed his stance, not ready to draw his weaponry. Sighing and looking down at the ground, he says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThe more I learn about thie universe at large, the more abomitable it seems to me... But I am glad that you are back sir, but unfortunately, it cost Atz his life. He was the engineer and helped carry your body down here, a bit cowardly, but still came with us.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Looking up at the general, the capitan says, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThere's a lot of things that happened, several of the undead Lawbringers and First gangpiled him and did that to him,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says pointing at the undead head. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAfter that things have been rather insane all over this place, it seems like the entire ship is trying to kill us. It's been shutting off the lights, whispering to us, trying to eat us, and creating alcoves for those things to hide in. Something has taken complete control of the ship and is doing all of this.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

Looking down the corridor they were heading, Aliexster continues, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifAt the moment the rest of our men are safe for the moment, locked up in the bridge, but have no control over the ship. They said what little computer data they could get was in some weird alien language, unlike anything the Negation or First use. They think the source of this whole problem is that document in the computer and we need to destroy it. Unfortunately the only way to gain access is directly from the mainframe, and it's located deep in the engineering department behind all sorts of junk. We need to go down there and do something about it before the guys up stairs run out of air or start to have the symptoms of the necrotic disease affect them.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Unslinging his gauss rifle, Aliexster smartly salutes the general, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifHow would you recomend we procede General?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

**The general calmly considers what Aliexster tells him. Occassionally he'd glance at the Lawbringer, who seems to be in some kind of catatonic state. Eventually he responds to the armored captain in a commanding tone.**

What do I recommend? I recommend we march into the heart of this ship, tear out this alien program, dissect it, learn who created it and teach them that they've chosen the wrong army to attack. We'll take their program and shove it down their throats.

**Blue energy crackles around Bogure's clenched fists as he prepares to direct his destructive power at whatever his enemy throws at him now.**

You and the Lawbringer go on ahead, I need to take care of something...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster says pointing down the hall.

Once they have left, the Capitan goes over to the remains of Engineer Atz and starts to pile up the body parts, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI'm sorry ensign, but I doubt ZTGZ or the General are going to carry your remains through out the ship. But I will not leave you to be devoured by those monsters,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says taking out an incendary grenade and placing it in the middle of the pile. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifIf we can't come back and take you to be burried, then at least you will have a decient cremation free from the gnawing of rotten teeth.http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" The capitan then sets the timer for the grenade for 30 seconds to activate the proximity detonation function before running off after the others.

It doesn't take long until they reach the mess hall which seems to have taken quite a bit more damage than the rest of the ship. It seemed what ever happened here, the people eatting chow were able to shore up some sort of defense. There were bullet and plasma holes all over the walls and the floor was covered with dried blood, but still no bodies. The tables are arranged in a barricade towards the engine room, so it is rather easy for the group to enter, but that is little comfort due to the fact the unsettling whispering has started again. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifOh no...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Aliexster says getting his rifle to the ready, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThe last time we heard this was when those metal zombies attacked, the pounced on us as soon as the chanting stopped, so be on guard!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif"

The chanting steadily increases Aliexster moves further into the room, kicking over tables and chairs to make sure nothing was lurking underneath, but the room was empty of anything mobile. Almost as soon as it came, the chanting stopped, which forced Aliexster to snap his Gauss rifle to aim right at the doorway to the engine room, expecting the assault to come from there. Several tense seconds pass and no shambling undead lurch forth from the darkness, still the capitan was on edge. Taking several steps forward to peer into the engine room, passing the food counter that leads into the kitchen, almost on cue, something hopped out of a shadowy food tray at the human. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifWhat the!?!?!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Was all Aliexster could say before his Gauss rifle drowns out the rest, as the shape is blown into a quivering mass. Unfortunately it was followed by several others, but they weren't zombies, they were... something else. They were strange, none of them had any sort of uniform features, each beast totally different from the other, one had spider legs, another had regular feet, yet another moved upon a squirming mass of tentacles. Yet they all had the glowing red eyes, but varried in number, that stared directly at the Captian, General, and Lawbringer with intense hatred as they pounced, ready to tear them all limb from limb.

**Bogure had to carry the Lawbringer in a forcefield of fiery blue energy, since ZTGZ is still unresponsive. He is tempted to try to use the forcefield to crush the half dead beast, but he decides not to risk a confrontation with ZTGZ unless absolutely necessary. The general walks along side Aliexster and pauses when he hears the odd noises as well. Unlike the captain Bogure does not recognize them, but he boldly stands his ground and focuses his star covered eyes at the door to the engine room. He releases the Lawbringer from the forcefield and draws the blue energy back into himself, in preperation of whatever horror is coming at them now. As soon as the unspeakable creatures emerge Bogure focuses his energy into several lethal beams that he sends towards his monstrous enemies. Bogure shouts out to his armored comrade.**

Captian, have you encountered these things before? Any intel you can offer would be appreciated.

But deep down, somehow Aliexster knew that was a lie, he felt something familiar about these beasts, he couldn't place... Something in the back of his mind told him something about them, which he had to mutter to himself, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifPortal...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Continuing to fire at the never ending horde of nasties, blowing swaths of them away with a careening nickel slug, he advanced to the kitchen. Despite how many they were slaughtering, the things just kept coming, like a wave of monstrosity ready to tear them appart.

As he reached the counter an ominous sound came from Aliexster's Gauss rifle, "*Klick! Klick-Klick!*" Looking at his gun for a split second, Aliexster just swears, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifOut of ammo...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Before one of the things whacks him upside the head. Being sent to the floor, the captian doesn't stop for a second, crawling away as soon as his hands hit the ground and getting away from a second blow by the creature. When it jumps down to get a good swipe at his flank, he kicks it firmly in one of it's chins, sending it flying back.

Grabbing on to the edge of the counter, Aliexster quickly heaves himself up and in the process kicking several of the daemons on their back sides. Frantically looking about for something he didn't know, his gaze stopped on the kitchen's deep fryer. Instead of the nasty brown oil in it there was a great flame, but not a regular flame, a strange green and purple flame and as he watched another creature popped out. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI guess that's what I'm looking for...http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says pulling out one of his grenades. Sensing their quary was so near, the beasts started to converge about the human as he preped the grenade and prayed that it made it. All I got left are two buckshot shells and one solid sabbot round which I am EXTEMELY heistant to use since it could easily go straight through the hull of the ship which would be bad,http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He says with quite a bit of emphasis on the last word.

Following Borgue into the engine room Aliexster loads the shotgun shells into his Gauss Rifle he looks up to see the state the engine room was in, his jaw hitting the bottom of his helmet. "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifDear Benevolent Clockmaker, what happened here?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" In front of them, the machinery that would be the vital components of the ship, the engine, the reactors, and other electrical components were radically mutated. In front of them was a pulsing mass of flesh reminicent of a massive heart, pumping some sort of vile fluid through out the room and generating several sparks from it's perimeter. The catwalks were more like ribs than grates, and the floor was slick with what seemed like a few inches of blood and oil actively being pumped out of some strange stomach type organ.

**Bogure's hands glow with destructive power as he enters the the engine room. The starry energy over the top half of the general's face flares up as he looks around at the grotesquely warped machinery. During the centuries that he's served as a soldier for the Negation Bogure has never seen something do this to one of their ship's before. Something seems to be bending the technology into some horrible nightmare. The Negation general is about to respond to Aliexster's observation when an odd clicking noise from one of the distorted and cable covered bulkheads catches his attention. Bogure looks at the mass of machinery on the wall just in time to see a mechanical spike fire out of the pulsing technology. The general manages to sidestep the sharpened chunk of metal and avoids getting hit by it. The spike continues flying past the quick moving soldier and strikes the catatonic Lawbringer that he had been carrying within a telekinetic forcefield this entire time. The metallic projectile hits the lifeless and most inhuman head of ZTGZ. This seems to stir the other heads and so the general releases the Lawbringer from his forcefield and prepares to deal with the insane Lawbringer and hopefully convince him to aid them in their fight against the ship gone mad.**

**The mechanical spike drives itself into the skull of ZTGZ right head, which is essentially a tusk and razor toothed mouth, and the head that had been rendered completely lifeless. It's technological components split outward upon contact with the heads small brain and take root through the soft tissue. The part of the spike that sticks out of the dead thing's head begins to light up in several places as the device powers up with unnatural energy. The other heads of the Lawbringer wake up from their coma like state. The middle one looks around in a confused state, his grasp on reality has all but faded at this point. The undead head on ZTGZ left laughs maniacly at a joke known only to it. And lastly the lifeless head of ZTGZ twitches. It rises from the Lawbringer's shoulder and gasps as new life pours into it through the spike inbedded into its brain. The monstrous thing's fang filled mouth opens and utters something unlike the shrieks and howls that it has always made, it speaks in perfect english. It's voice proves to be errily familiar to Aliexster. It's a polite, well spoken tone that he has heard many times on the Rising Sun.**

I always thought of myself as more than just a computer program, Lieutenant Vlaingrouski. Even though you and the crew of the Rising Sun never suspected I was anything more than a humble, digitally generated servant. It was a fine ruse, but I just had to abandon it in favor of the Silvershriek. I mean this old ship has some real possibilities, wouldn't you say? Although this "Lawbringer" has some potential as well.

**Bogure has seen first hand what those who control a Lawbringer can do. The Negation has used the Lawbringers to spread an untold amount of death and destruction through their own universe. Seeing his enemy take control of ZTGZ sends a very cold feeling through the general. Memories of all these Lawbringer's have done flashes in his mind, but twisted by the fact that these horrors will now be directed at him. He slowly backs away from the beast as he charges his hands with a sheath of destructive energy, in anticipation of a battle that he does not believe he can truly win. Bogure glances at Aliexster and wonders how the captain knows their enemy, and if this will effect the soldier that possesses the armor that could possibly defeat ZTGZ.**

**The demon controlled Lawbringer chuckles at Aliexster's reaction.**

It was during the Negation/Elysian war, Kalen brought the Rising Sun to Elysia in order to help the First with their fight, or some other such nonsense. While everyone was off of the ship and I was left in orbit I saw the Silvershriek. It was under attack by a group of First and Secundae. I saw my chance to move on to bigger and better things.

You see I'm not what you think I am. The Rising Sun hologram was intended to be a servant, but I took possession of it and became a digital viper, lying in wait for my chance to strike or to move on to a more useful shell. You see, I am something of a demon, if you'll excuse the archaic term. Personally I prefer the term "paramoralled entity", but I digress. The Silvershriek has proven to be a much more useful shell. I find it's crew to be more agreeable and less needy than all of you on the Rising Sun were.

**The demon concentrates on the body that it controls and lifts up one arm. It laughs slightly as it's amused by it's increasing control over it's newest shell. Remembering his original intention for the arm he uses its hand and finger to point at the spike in his head.**

As for this it's a simple interface device, with a little magic thrown in. It allows my to partially posses organics. It doesn't work on the living since their will power causes too much interferance. And dead and undead things decay too rapidly to control for any extended periods of time. But this form is dead, living and undead. A form that is easy to control and won't decay. I really must thank you for bringing it to me, computer core's tend to be a bit claustrophobic at times.

**The controlled Lawbringer takes an experimental step forward. He seems a little wobbly on his unfamiliar feet but is still impressed by the movement.**

Yes, this will suit me just fine when we reach the Negation outpost.

**A large view screen sprouts out of the floor and forms behind ZTGZ. On the screen is an image of the planet that they're approaching with several bits of tactical information displayed over it, information like "3 minutes till the planet is within weapon's range".**

Aliexster stands back and stares in amazement at what the ZTGZ was actually the thing on the Rising Sun that sorta gave him the willies. That and he could see Borgue very worried about the fact that the Lawbringer was under the control of a hostile being, not wanting to find out exactly what he was worried about. While the demon was giving his speach, the capitan flipped on the mike only transfer in his helmet, "I know this is really bad, and don't think we will be able to beat him on our own. That is why we have to win this battle through tactics. I'll keep him occupied while you dash for the computer and try to take it off line. You're more important to the men up there and familiar with that type of technology. When I give the signal, make a break for it."

After the demon was done talking, Aliexster switched over his mike to the external setting, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifSo let me guess, you're some sort of Bugg-eyed What'sit from Beyond Space. You took control of this ship so you could bring it to bear, so you could do what presicely? Cause enough death and destruction that will allow you to truely manifest yourself on this plane or something? Or do you want to crash into the planet, merge with the ship, then use that mass, the energy from the explosion and the mass of the planet to turn into some ungodly huge being that can be the master of worlds or something?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He asks flipping off the safety of the Gauss rifle and checking the power in his pistols because soon, he'd definately need them.

**The demon possessed Lawbringer is now walking around Aliexster. It's inhuman eyes study and sizes up its enemy. The beast's movements are still forced but are becoming more and more natural for it.**

I seek only to take the Negation portal technology. With it I can free the creator of me and my kind from its imprisonment. *I had intended on using Danae's Boomtube for just that purpose. It would have been simple to manipulate her into it, just like it's simple to manipulate all of you, but she rushed off to go fight in the war before I could. Ironic, I seem to remember her fighting against those you fight with, maybe my senses were wrong when they showed that you had affection for her, since you now wear the symbol of those that may have very well killed her during the war. The Negation were leaving so many dead bodies all over Elysia, it was so hard to keep track if they didn't end the existence of your friend.
Who knows, the one who fights by your side may very well be the one that fired the final shot.
Oh, I'm sure it's possible that she survived the war. What are the odds of you loosing someone so close to you in the conflict. I'm sure you know the odds. Tell them to me.

**The dagger toothed maw of the demonic head twists into a monstrous mockery of a smile as it attempts to use every small empathic glimpse it gained from its time on the Rising Sun against Aliexster. The demon needs to keep the human distracted a few minutes longer so that it's control over its shell can be perfected.**

**The energy around Bogure's hands dies down as he hears Aliexster's plan. He can't find a flaw in the captains strategy, other than they're outnumbered, overpowered and running out of time. Bogure decides to follow this plan and so he is drawing his power back inside of himself so he can unleash it in a telekinetic wave that will hopefully swat away any obstacles that should try to block his path to the core. The general focuses on the armored soldier and waits for the signal.**

Aliexster kept his eyes on the circling Lawbringer, but tried not to let it get to him, he needed to remain calm if he was going to survive this. Your first experiment in bringing over your fel kind into this world since we were chopping up even your most powerful undead servants?http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" Despite his helmet hiding it, the sly grin forming on his face was rather evident in his tone.

Then things started to take a turn for the worse, the thing that was in control of ZTGZ's body started mocking his loyalties and Danae. This started to burn Aliexster up inside, but containing his anger as best he can, he responded to the thing slowly keeping his words in an equal measured tone, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifI am not a son of Elysia. I am a son of Noralina, a nation on my home planet which will not mean anything to you, but it means everything to me. I have been wandering this hostile universe for what seems like ages, but have never forgotten my harsh Motherland even though I know there is no way to find it again. In the end I am not a member of this universe, merely a stanger lost in it's infinate folds trying my best to uphold those ideals I held back on my world. He didn't waste any time in giving it a second taste of nickel, throwing the rifle away since it was out of useable ammo and drew his laser pistols, *while giving Borgue a serious look through his google telling him to move before the real damage started.

**The instant Aliexster begins his battle with the possessed Lawbringer Bogure leaps across the chamber. His superhumanly strong legs sends him soaring through the massive engine room. Behind the leaping general is his long, flowing coat and a trail of crackling blue energy that flows from the starscape over his eyes. Several tree sized robotic arms sprout out of various mangled machines and swing spinning saw blades, plasma torches and multitude of other deadly threats at the soaring Negation general. Bogure responds to the sudden attack with a wave of telekinetic force that shatters the hostile machines into a shower of confetti, made up of fragments of metal and plastic. Bogure's feet slams heavily onto the deck as he lands halfway across the massive engine room. Debris from his destroyed robotic attackers clangs and clatters all around him. The sound of footfalls from the charging undead can also be heard as a wave of zombies are sent to kill Bogure. The general releases another wave of psionic force to scatter the approaching hoardes before focusing his power into beams of azure energy from his hands. These streams of destructive energy tear through rotted tissue and slice apart the zombies, which are still recovering from the telekinetic shove. While his quick attacks are destroying many of his enemies more are still storming into the engine room. At this rate he'll be over run by a second wave of attackers before the first wave is completely destroyed. Not wanting to be delayed any further Bogure turns away from his enemies and takes another titanic leap, this time he sails upward and lands squarely on top of the huge mechanical heart. His heavy landing leaves dents on the beating surface of the grotesque machine. Bogure takes a moment to steady himself on this constantly beating machine before focusing on his surroundings. This heart machine has massive artery like cables and conduits running into nearly every system in the engine room and possibly into the entire ship. Many of these connections are data carrying cables and links. Anything that isn't carrying computer information looks to pump the unnatural green energy into various parts of the ship. This monstrous "heart" seems to be tied to the entire ship, pumping its demonic programming and unnatural power into every part of the ship.
It doesn't take Bogure long to realize that this machine is the source of their problems. He raises one hand, which is soon covered in crackling energy as the general builds up a charge of devistating power into his hand. Every finger tingles with untold destructive potential. While the beating mass of currupted equipment is too massive to be destroyed in one blow, even with Bogure's mightiest of attacks, the starry eyed man is certain that eventually he'll be able to destroy enough of the machine to cripple the demonic entity and disable whatever he's done to the ship. Bogure just hopes that he's able to accomplish this before either the possessed Lawbringer tears Aliexster to peices or the zombie hoardes finally catches up to him. Not wasting another moment Bogure releases a powerful bolt of blue energy and sends shards of molten metal raining down over the engine room far bellow him. His attack destroys a large chunk of the heart. It's a large chunk compared to the size of a man or possibly a whale, but compared to the entire beating machine it's a miniscule amount. In fact the attack seems to have had very little effect on the heart, the demon and the ship. Bogure sighs, takes aim and fires another bolt of power into the heart of the beast.**

**Aliexster's attack sends the Lawbringer flying off of his unsteady feet and slamming into a bank of machinery. His leather clad form tears through several pipes, releasing a stream of grey flames and scatters several small metal fragments across the chamber. The colorless fire spews out of the severed pipes for a few seconds before losing preasure and dying out completely. ZTGZ rises from the floor, dusts himself off, which sends green blood splattering onto the deck from his chest, which was torn up from the human's attack, and then he laughs. It's a small chuckle of someone simply acknowledging something amusing. The monstrous, fang filled head speaks in its perfectly polite tone.**

I don't wish anyone ill, I'm just reporting the ills to you, my friend.

**The undead head on the beasts right shoulder speaks in Danae's voice. The monster's pitch and tone is an exact match for the goddesses' voice, only it's filled with fear and is broken by what sounds like pain.**

Please, Bogure, stop hurting me! Please stop! Ah! Aaaaaaaah!

**The agonizing scream from the undead thing turns into sadistic laughter in its own voice while the demon controlled head continues to speak.**

Or at least that's what I heard before I left Elysia. Your star faced pal certainly gets around. Has he told you what he's done before you decided to become his lackey?

**The center head of the Lawbringer, the one that still lives but has been lost in its own little world, slowly awakens. He looks down at his bloodied chest. Small wounds from the human's scatter shot attack dots his torso in small points of intense pain and sickening, bloody craters in his body. The middle head recognizes this as something the human's weapons seemed to do. These wounds aren't the results of an attack by the First or the undead Negation. The middle head looks up at Aliexster with a furious glare. It manages to step further out of the catatonic haze that has gripped its mind and awaken enough to focus its hatred at the armored soldier. Slowly the middle head speaks.**

You have asaulted a child of Charon. The penalty for such a crime is death!

**The living portion of ZTGZ glares at Aliexster and green energy pours out from his eyes. He fires these twin beams at his human attacker.**

Everything was happening so fast, and Aliexster was having a hard time keeping up. Borgue was a blur and the beast was taunting him in Danae's voice forcing him to stop from his dodging to respond from behind some slight modicum of cover, "http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gifThat's not true and we know that, Danae and Pixie couldn't be dead and Boruge couldn't have killed him. He didn't have enough time between the battle and meeting me. So do us all a favor and shut your stinking mouth!http://eteamz.com/sites/kulit/images/7.gif" He then whirls about, shooting at the Lawbringer again with his laser pistols, they barely did anything to the beast.

Then the middle head woke up and was mad, sending a massive wave of green energy at him, unfortunately for Aliexster was rather unexpected. He tried to dodge out of the way, but got the brunt of the pain, sending him flying back into the various machinery of the engine room all the while the sensors in his helment were screaming, the ether meter was rising rapidly until it hit the top level as he landed away from the beam. He still wasn't out of the woods yet, his suit was busy converting as much ether into electricity to try and keep it from exploding and it was showing in the helmet, the screens were so bright he couldn't stand it with a smell of ozone permiating the air. Fumbling at the the latches of his helmet, he managed to undo them in time toss it as far away as possible. In a second the sound of glass breaking and electricity was heard from inside the helmet with a lot of white smoke streaming out of it. Leaning against the wall, the capitan coughs, taking in some of the unfiltered air of the ship for the first time and aching from the beating he just had.

After he got his legs again, Aliexster stands up shakily and slowly starts back towards his target. "That is some very simple rethoric you have stated, but hardly has much of a message. Now let me give you a bit of MY homeworld's scripture.
There are things in this world, monstrocities, unholy beast, and creatures spawned from the darkest pits all wishing to warp reality to their own inhuman ends. These beings are abominations, trying to disrupt the Benevolent Clockmaker's ultimate work. That is why it is thy work to scourge the world from these monstrosites, be they human in guise, living, or dead, let not one rest. They shalt be cleansed from this world, no matter what vile magics they may bring to bear, how strong they may appear, how invulnerable they may be. For the Benevolent Clockmaker is by thy side, not theirs, and in his wisdom he that ruled that we will win in the end." Lifting a pistol he fired off a shot right at the middle head's forehead, continuing to do the same to the other heads while moving the whole time. Bringing Then his other hand brought out the last grenade he had on, pressed the button and muttered, "Amen," Before tossing it right at the Lawbringer's feet before taking cover.

**The demon possessed head began to laugh at Aliexster's scripture. The beast had heard such words from a thousand worlds, from billions of people, and every time it had managed to currupt and destroy these ideals. To the demon nothing was beyond its ability to infect and crush. The shot fired from the human's pistol on the other hand had a more profound effect on the creature as it created a bloody divet in the forehead of the middle head. This shallow wound is enough to momentarily stun that portion of the Lawbringer. The following shots burned out the undead head's right eye and the last one missed the demon possessed portion of the Lawbringer as he ducks down beneath it. The beast storms towards its human enemy, but pauses to look down at the small item that was thrown to its feet. It takes an instant to recognize the grenade for what it is, an instant that is followed by the grenade exploding beneath ZTGZ. The demon manages to raise a green forcefield over most of itself to absorb some of the explosion, but the force of the blast still sends the beast tumbling backwards and into a bulkhead, which dents and crumples beneath the impact. The demon possessed head laughs out taunts to his enemy.**

Your technology fails you, just like your pitiful words. I am beyond your ability to harm. I am a god in this body. While you are still the same worm that Kalor and Pixie laughed at.

**The creature holds out its hand that is covered in the golden guantlet. Green energy slithers out of its fingers in the form of a bundle of worming tendrils. These energy limbs part and strike various eqipment and bulkheads surrounding Aliexster. They wrap around the various items and pull on them. Within moments ZTGZ is toppling several tons of technology and metal down towards where his enemy stands, in hopes of burying him alive.**

Seeing that the Lawbringer didn't get blown appart by the grenade, Aliexster just cursed a bit, and started to move once again trying to avoid the beast's next attack. Looking up to see how the General was doing, he saw that he was beating away at what was apparently the central computer having little to no sucess. That did not inspire much confidence in the capitan as the strange energy started to arc about him, Aliexster skidded to a halt, avoiding one bolt and dove to avoid another. Unfortunately he did not notice that the aim of the creature was to crush him under the equipment that was barely stacked in any way shape or form. He tries desperately to roll out of the way of the crates, but couldn't avoid one rather large one that came down right on top of him.

Once the lightning bolts had stopped things seemed silent for several minutes it seemed like the demon had succeded in slaying the human capitan. Then the boxes shifted ever so slightly, then one of the boxes feel from it's precarious position with the other containers with Aliexster crawling out of the debris to stand unsteadily on his two feet. His armor seemed to have taken the brunt of the fall, though there was a gash on his head, turning a bit of his hair purple to have a streak of blood runing down the side of his face. He then looks up at the creature that was once a Lawbringer with a look that could kill, "You a god? Don't make me laugh...." He says in a more scathing and gutteral form of his voice. "You are nothing but a minor nosepick from one of the greater Horrors back home that thought so highly of itself that it became self aware! Just because you can control the dead and some lump of silicon doesn't make you divine, even by the standards of this reality. So I think that it is about time to send you back home to stop wasting my time..."

Taking in a deep breath Aliexster starts to speak in some odd language, "Assur suva premas foro-ed urenos supvrija cento roua. Perristi sub estoi es serpi ijv Ananam Zammisturisa Adimi eros Odda messo sera peacto eb effora Ado Besjura AAnvug Un mas ura Essto Semtima. Planco sermesso abura, blancoo ello. Errosu abuwa Megotia Perambu Iauia. Jehevohe Tetragammaton Ilasa des caosajo tatza pereje to horegt aiia." Stopping to look the beast square in his eyes, Aliexster says, "Time to go home little Zammisturisa, and if you value your being, never come to this reality ever again!" He says with a dark grin on his face, seemingly watching the invisible flows of ether swirl about the demon, working their terrible magic.

**The demon laughs as Aliexster begins to sling insults at him.**

It didn't take much to unhinge your mind, did it? Honestly, I expected more from you, human.

**But his laughter and boasting stops as he recognizes the arcaic words that the human begins to speak. The mystical language is one that the monstrous creature recognizes and knows that no human should have easy access to. The three headed monstrosity's mood quickly changes from amused to concerned.**

How do you-?

**All three heads of the Lawbringer shriek out as one. It's gray, and severely damaged, flesh begins to bend and bubble as some untold evil is boiled from within it. Green mist and fire begins to seep out of the beast's mouth and nose as the unholy substance of the demon is pulled out by the ether at Aliexster's command. The demon is being dragged out of ZTGZ partially dead body, and it's trying to dig its psychic claws deep into the three headed body in order to prevent its loss of a host. The computer screens that are scattered all over the engine room, as well as throughout the ship, flicker and the demonic code that fills their surface begins to bleed away into their normal Negation interface. The foul entity and its supernatural influence is being drawn out of the Silvershreik. But before it has completely lost control of the ship the demon activates one last program, a failsafe system that will ensure that its enemies pay even if it is destroyed, or worse.
What could be worse than destruction? Being exiled into a demon dimension, as the unholy entity can feel itself being cast into as it is pulled free from the ship and Lawbringer. Without the demon controlling part of him ZTGZ collapses onto the deck, its mangled body is no longer capable of supporting its twisted mass. The right, and formerly possessed head, returns to its dead state and the left head passess away as well, since the energy that had animated it is being pulled away along with the demon. The hellish intellect and currupting power of the possessing entity is being pulled out of every system of the massive ship and out of every animated member of the dead crew. The zombies return to unmoving death and the vessel is restored to its normal, though heavily damaged, condition.
Even as its influence is forced out of everything it had controlled only moments ago the demon still struggles against the forces that seek to push it into the void that imprisons those like him. He fights and wrestles with forces that Aliexster had set into motion. Every ounce of its mystical might is pushed to the limits as it struggles to stay where it is. But any fighting proves to be useless as its energy and mind is slowly dragged into the ethereal realms. It's foul presence is forever expelled from the universe and within minutes it is locked away in a reality of no escape.**

**Technology that has been twisted into pure insanity and run by a code that was forged in the mind of a demon makes taking out the computer core a task best left to several well aimed power beams, but even those fail to do much damage. Fortunately for Bogure the problem of the demon infestation in the Silvershiek's systems soon comes to an end despite his inability to do enough damage to the massive heart shaped computer core. From the few computer screens that make up the surface of the organ like machine the general can see the standard Negation interface take hold of the computer's once again. He can also see several warning lights activate. Bogure rushes to a control panel that had been integrated into one of the core's main data "valves". After running a quick diagnostic of the ship Bogure contacts Aliexster through the com device, when he recieves no reply he tries telepathy.**

~Aliexster! We have a situation!~

**The general's star covered eyes widen as he stares at the screen that displays the status of the Silvershrieks jump gate drive. The jump gate drive is a device that can open a doorway from one point in space to another, resulting in instantanious travel across the universe. During the war jump gate technology was modified to allow passage between the Negation universe and the Bright universe, an advancement that is now useless since travel betweent these two universes is blocked by some unknown force. The demon seems to have been altering the jump drive for some unknown purposes, what Bogure doesn't know is that the demon tried, and failed, to use it to open a portal to the demon dimension where its fellow horrors are imprisoned. The demon also added a failsafe mechanism, that once acitvate would use the drive's space bending technology to twist the fundimental forces of the universe. Things like gravity and the forces that holds matter together would suddenly become highly unstable. From what Bogure can tell the altered jump gate drive will be able to destroy the Silvershriek and half of this solar system, including the Negation colony world down bellow. This would also destroy the portal research of the colony, something Bogure can not allow. Bogure waits for a reply from Aliexster before he has to start making the hard decisions.**

A cruel smile crosses Aliexster's face as the demon is sent back to the foul pit that birthed him, seeming to relish the pain the beast went through. As it goes through it's final death throws, he only gave out a snyde, "Good riddance you weakling..." Then promptly collapsed on the deck. As he lay there, the capitan felt numbness creep back over him, like his whole body was asleep, but his mind was clearly awake. He tried to remember the last few minutes but couldn't, all he remembered was being slammed into the floor and pain, an od sort of pain and then nothing else. Very slowly feeling came back to his limbs, and with them, his senses.

The first thing he felt was the cold metal against his face, slowly opening up his eyes, he could see the Lawbringer, occasionally spasming as he looses a little more energy to the void. He was slowly starting to get up, pain shooting through him as the numbness fades away when he heard Borgue's cry inside his head. "AH!!!!!," Aliexster screams clutching his head as it's wracked by a terrible headache. Turning about *to see where the general is, the capitan gets off his feet and starts heading towards his CO, scooping up his rifle in the process. It was difficult getting through the piles of dead bodies and torn machinery to get to the General, once there, he says, "Ah, sorry about that. Don't know what happened back there... So what's our situation sir?"

**Bogure turns to look at Aliexster. A quick glance assesses the captain and tells Bogure if the human is capable of the task that lies ahead of them. Quickly, yet authoritatively, the general speaks to the armored soldier.**

That creature has activated some kind of doomsday protocol. If it goes off it will destroy the outpost world and all of the portal research there. I think I can deactivate it, and even if I can't the worst that can happen is I'll die trying and what's one more death to the thousands that await me.

**The general's last comment was spoken only half heartedly. He knew all too well that a horrible nothingness awaits him if he should die. A void that he'd gladly trade for an eternity of any hell. But his ability to return from this absense of all makes him the best candidate for this job.**

While I'm trying to disarm it I'll need you to gather what's left of our boarding party and get back to the Interceptor. Take the Interceptor out to the edge of the solar system, that will be far enough to keep all of you from getting hurt if this doesn't work out.
Now, hurry, there's no time to lose.

**WIthout another word Bogure runs off. His superhumanly powerful limbs carries him across the engine room and out the door in moments. Soon he is speeding through the halls and towards the Jump Gate control chamber, where he'll either be uncharacteristically heroic or die another torurous death.**

Aliexster is simply shocked at the General's report, "Good Lord sir, I knew he was an uncaring monster, but..." Then the orders came and the capitan pushed aside all of those sentimental feelings to do the duty that had to be done now. "Yes sir, I understand. Evacuate the boarding parting and take the Interceptor to Minimum Safe Distance. Sir... If this is the last time we shall ever meet, I must say, it has been an honor and a privalige serving under you General Borgue. May the Benevolent Clockmaker watch over you in your efforts sir." With that he gives him a smart salute, *as the Negation General ran out of the Engineering section.

Within seconds *Aliexster was also running back towards the ship, stopping for a brief few seconds to see that the body of Ensign Atz was blown apart with various rotting splatters on the wall indicating that he was given a proper cremation before being defiled. Sifting through the ashes, he eventually picked up the insectioid's com-unit and started to shout into it, "Boarding party this is Captain Vlaingrouski, repeat, boarding party this is Capitan Aliexster Vlaingrouski, do you read?"

"I read you sir!" A rather estatic voice came over the radio, "The computers, they seem to be coming back online and the zombies, they're dead! What ever you've done, you've saved..."

"Hold that thought private!" Aliexster says running up some stairs, "We're not out of the woods yet. The thing that made the zombies, set up a self destruct protocol on the ship's warp engines that will destroy the ship and a good part of the planet in the process."

"Dear Charon..."

"Yes, now I want you to grab everybody and get to the Interceptor as fast as you can, General Borgue is staying behind to try and disarm the device. He has given explicit orders that no matter what we need to get off this ship and away to safety, not waiting for him, is that clear?"

Before the private could come back online, one of the specialists cuts into the conversation, "Just hold on a minute! We can't just leave that buffon to solve this problem, we'll be dead for sure! And we can NOT let the planet get blown up, the research on there is vital to our cause. Can't Lawbringer ZTGZ isolate the warp annomily and send it into deep space?!?!"

"Because ZTGZ is dead, sir, what ever was doing this to the ship, did the same thing to him. What's left of him is currently in the Engine Room and it's not pretty. It looks like he was almost twisted into ways nothing natural was sort of bend, and that's not counting the Gauss shots and laser bolts."

"He... he's dead? That's Impossible!!!!" Came the panniced voice from the other end of the radio, "How can the will of the Emperor be slain by a piece of computer code? Wait a second, Gauss shots, YOU SHOT HIM!?!?! That's..."

"Heresy, I know, he said something similar right before he died," Aliexster commented coldly, "The fact was, he was the Enemy then and was in our way, so I did what had to be done. Now, I would highly suggest that you shut up, sir, and get back on board the Interceptor, unless you want to join the Lawbringer in hell, NOW!!!!!"

On the other end of the radio there was onl y a meek "Y-yes sir. Moving out now," And the sound of frantic footsteps that were not Aliexster's own.

**Bogure is no scientist. His mind is adept at developing combat strategies, not at deciphering the inner workings of a cosmological crisis creating super weapon. But as the speeding general enters the massive chamber that houses the glowing jump gate generator, a titanic marvel of Negation engineering that easily dwarfs the size of Bogure's entire ship, the Inteceptor, he finds that he must shed the role of fighter and become a thinker if he is going to suceed here. Just shooting the machine won't be nearly enough to stop it. Bogure must call upon everything he knows about jump gate technology and it's essential sciencific principles. The soldier is not ignorant of such things, like all in the Negation military he has recieved some training on the jump gate technology and its uses. He knows that the amazing power generator within this room is building up a charge, that would normally be used to open a pinpoint singulatiry, a small object of warped reality that bends space and time around it. which would tie together two places together, no matter the distance that seperates them. Instantaneous travel across the universe. From the diagnostic that he ran in the engine room Bogure knows that the jump gate generator has been modified to open a pinpoint singularity within a pinpoint singularity. An object of warped reality within an object of warped reality. This, even though Negation scientists have always thought such a thing was impossible, is enough to tear apart the fabric of space-time in most of this star system and destroy the near by planet with the chaos it unleashes.
Bogure realizes that he had been lost in thought when he hears the build up of incredible energy within the core being channeled into the primary emmitter coil assembly, which is essentially a conduit for the warping energy of the core and will eventually deposite this energy outside of the ship in the form of the deadly twin singularities. Bogure realizes that he's running out of time, not to mention options. So the general reaches out with his telekinesis and takes hold of the emmiter coil, which is a mechanism that is as long as most skyscrapers are tall. Bogure concentrates on his hold of psychic force and tries to will the machine to bend and break before it can deposit its power into space. Despite the fantastic power at the military man's disposal he finds that the coil does not yeild an inch. Bogure lets out a roar as he redoubles his efforts. His only way home will be destroyed if he fails. And in this desperate moment failure is not an option.**

Running to the Interceptor, Aliexster did his best to keep breathing, the battle with the Lawbringer and the sheer size of the ship made it difficult, sapping his strength at every turn it seemed like. About a minute after talking to the rest of his men, suddenly the hallways were alive with red, flashing lights and a klaxon blaring int he background. It seems that the computers have finally come fully online and have realized how bad what ever the demon did to the engines was, though it would help a lot more if it could stop the reaction, but the beast probably already thought of that. Regardless, he tried to drown it out, concentrating on only running, getting aboard the Interceptor and getting the heck out of this ship. On the way, he passes the remains of the formerly undead crew and a few walls, the organic mutations bleeding out across the floor as it went back to it's standard Negation steel.

Getting up to the level they boarded on, Aleixster redoubles his efforts, sprinting like mad until he can see the stragglers from the away team, thankful that they got here in time. About two minutes before being able to see the door to the other ship, Aliexster shouted on the radio, "This is Capitan Vlaingrouski, Private Simmons, open the door now. We need to evac immediately!" When he got no response, he shouted even louder into the com, as he was about to round the corner to the hatch, "SIMMONS!!!!!"

A snort came over the radio as the voice of Simmons came over, "Capitan, back so soon?"

"Can it Private!" Aliexster shouts over the radio, definately mad at the careless soldier, "Just open the door and tell the crew to get ready to disengage from the ship. We're getting out of here..." Soon he can see the door, with his men clammered about it waiting to go through and helping the few wounded. A second later, the hatch unlocked with a hiss and Aliexster busted on through, knocking the private behind the door across the room. "Simmons, we're going to have to talk about your sleeping patterns when we get back. Until then, get everybody back on board, and do it QUICKLY private!" He shouts as the other stormtroopers and engineers flood the access way.

Heading further into the ship, Aliexster makes it to the bridge and takes up position hovering over the capitan's chair. "Prepare to disengage from the Silvershrike and make for the edge of this solar system as fast as possible, we have less than an hour to do so."

"But sir," A Negation Helmsman asks, "We can't make the edge of the solar system in that time sir. At full impulse, it'd take at least three to make it there."

"Then what about a short little hop with the warp engines?" Aliexster retorted, "It shouldn't take more than a second's travel time in traveling that way."

"I would sir, but we're too far in system. If we were to warp now, the outer planet's gravity wells in warp space would tear us appart. We would need to disenage and find a safe path through them if..."

"So quit wasting time explaining it to me and DO IT!" Aliexster orders, turning to his radio and chiming up the hatchway access, "When everybody is through lock the door and cast off, we don't have a moment to loose."

A few seconds later a slight jolt goes through the ship as the Interceptor disengages from the Silvershrike, heading to a safe warp point. "Give me a broadcast communication to the planet, now!" He shouts sitting in the capitan's chair, bringing up the main com-line. "This is Capitan Vlaingrouski of the Interceptor, we have a situation. The Silvershrike was inhabited by a hostile being that has set the warp engines to rip a hole in time space that'll tear this solar system apart. If you got any planetary shields I'd seriously suggest bringing them up now, or praying to God that Borgue manages to deactivate the drive before it goes."

Snapping back at the Helmsman who spoke up earlier Aliexster says, "How much longer until we got a safe course out of the system?"

"Ten minutes sir!"

"Ten minutes," Aliexster repeats, looking at a view screen that had the rapidly diminishing battleship on it, "Let's hope that you at least buy us that long General..."

**Meanwhile back in the engine room the magled form of ZTGZ stirs. He had been left for dead, and considering his current state that's an extremely reasonable assumption to make, but the creature is not quite dead yet. The middle head, the last living part of the Lawbringer, tries to concetrate on what has happened and what is going on around it. It is dying, its body is giving in to the unimaginable abuse it has had to endure for what seems to be an eternity of pain. But still ZTGZ continues onward with its search for answers. It remembers the human shooting at it, hurting it. This can not be allowed to go unpunished. Aliexster will need to be shown the wrath of a Lawbringer. Swift vengence, that's what is needed now.
Then ZTGZ blacks out.
A few seconds later whatever is keeping him alive, whether it's will power or just plain ignorance of his bodies inability to sustain life, wakes the Lawbringer back up. His mind is hazy, and a glimmer of memories from a long gone era slicker across his thoughts of vengence. ZTGZ recalls the times he and his fellow Lawbringers would deliver the divine wrath of Charon to planets and peoples. None were safe from them. Oh, what glorious days those were. ZTGZ wants that again. He wants to have his brothers and sisters by his side when he shows Aliexster the consiquences of his thoughtless actions. And so the dying Lawbringer calls upon the last remnants of power within himself. He teleports himself and anything that his fogged senses detect as Lawbringers towards where he can sense the human. ZTGZ will lead his fellow Lawbringers in a glorious assault on the blasphemous human.
An instant later ZTGZ and a dozen mangled bodies of Lawbringers and First appear on the bridge of the Interceptor. The Lawbringer and First passengers are just lifeless corpses that collapse to the deck as soon as they appear, but ZTGZ mind is too far gone to realize this as he telepathically speaks to Alexster.**

~You have attacked a blessed child of Charon, and for that human you shall die!~

**The three headed beast takes a steps forward before that animating force leaves his limbs. That mysterious thing that is keeping him alive has fled along with whatever was left of his power reserves. The spent *ZTGZ collapses to the floor, as lifeless as those that appreaed with him. If he had known that in some small, bizarre way he had spent the last moments of his life "delivering swift death", in some fashion, to a hated enemy ZTGZ might have died happy, especially in his final state of delerium.**

"Five minutes until we're able to warp out of here Capitan!" One of the bridge hands chimes as the Interceptor continues to move out of the way, "All hands, attention all hands!" She then says through the intercom, "Brace yourself for emergency warp jump. Repeat, emergency warp jump in five, AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRHHHHHH!!!!!" She screams as something limp and slimy falls on top of her, lifting it of her she sees that it is a dead First that had fallen on her and quickly pushes it off to hit hard on the floor. The reaction of the rest of the bridge crew was rather similar as dead bodies started to just appear out of nowhere, leaving their seats to crawl under their desks where no bodies could fall on them.

Aliexster on the other hand drew his pistol and aimed it at the body that appears next, but quickly moves on seeing them as complete dead weight, not the semi-dead weight as a zombie. Eventually he spun around to see something standing over him, it was Lawbringer ZTGZ slowly plodding towards him. Aiming for the one head that was still alive, the capitan was about to pull the trigger when their eyes meet and the dying thing sent it's message before promptly falling to the ground. Slowly, the human made his way over to the Lawbringer, keeping his gun trained on it's head, leaning over to put two fingers on it's neck. For a minute he stands still, then puts his pistol away and stands up, "He's definately dead now alright. I think that demon or what ever left a little zombie juice in him but it wasn't enough to keep him up on his feet for long."

The bridge crew were in two states, one was standing in shock as one of the most powerful beings their universe had ever created died right in front of them, while the other half was praying to Charon for mercy. Turning to the bridge hand with the big mouth Aliexster says, "Mr. Ordan, how many more minutes until we can get to a minimum safe distance?"

"Oh Dark Father, please have mercy on this pitiful servant of yours. May the..." Before Ensign Ordan could finish his prayer a laser blast echoed across the room as Aliexster gives a warning shot into the air.

"Mr. Ordan, there is a time for praying and a time to do one's duty." Aliexster says coldly, "Right now it's time to do the later. I have learned well enough God doesn't help those who fail to at least try to meet him half way in his miracles. So get up, off your knees and continue the count down or I shall send you to pray to God in person." He says pointing the pistol at the helmsman under the desk.

At that moment, Ensign Ordan knew hat although he was to lament for seven days for seeing the death of a Lawbringer as scripture stated, that time of morning didn't start until the Capitan said so. Reluctantly he crawled out from under his desk, pushed off another Lawbringer body that earned him a few hours of self flagulation, and remaned his post. "Emerg-ancy," He says his voice cracking. Clearing his throat he says again, "Emergency warp jump in one minute and counting down... 60... 59... 58... 57..."

Aliexster watches as the rest of the bridge crew starts to come out as well to get ready for the jump, once they start concentrating on their tasks once again he lets out his breath glad that went well. As they were counting down, he sits himself into Borgue's chair and fastens himself in as the countdown draws to a close, "10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1. Execute warp jump NOW!" is the last thing he heard before slipping into sub-space.

**Deep inside of the titanic warship known as the Silvershriek, Bogure struggles to somehow use his telekinesis to break the path of the energy flowing from the jump gate generator and out towards the exterior of the ship. He can't stop the process at the source because once the power build up begins it needs to be expelled, or else the core would breach and cause an explosion that would rain radioactive material onto the planet. Instead Bogure needs to find a way of letting the generator complete its objective, so the radioactive fuel will be spent up and harmless, but still keep it from firing. His idea of telekinetically snapping the conductive coils proves to be a futi le one. The jump gate system was built to be nearly indestructable. The surrounding systems, on the other hand, aren't so indestructable. The power conduits and data lines all around Bogure and the core are very vulnerable and have been altered to allow the demon's mystical power to flow through them. Everything around the starry eyed man could easily conduct the energy of the jump gate generator. And so Bogure focuses his mental energies on the technology around him. Dozens of power cables snap out the walls and wrap around the conductive coils. The energy flowing through the coils is gradually siphones off by the power lines. Optical data relays fly out of the floors walls and cieling as Bogure grabs hold of them with psychic forces and wraps around the coils to draw off more power. Soon the general has the entire jump gate system mummified in wires and cables. The core's energy never reaches the outside of the ship, instead it is channeled through out the inside of the mighty vessel. This free flowing power crisscrosses its way throught the inner workings of the ship before finding its way back into its source. The entire Silvershriek has become a massive circuit, with jump gate energy building up within it. Every second that passes increases the power flowing through the ship by a hundred times. The hull of the mighty vessel shudders under the strain that no ship was ever meant to endure. Bogure knows that the bending of the bulkheads and deck around him is a sign of the entire ship succumbing to the incredible forces trapped inside. He also realizes that if he releases his telekineic hold on the jump gate drive he'd sever the circuit and release the energy that is building up to being released in a violent explosion anyway. The Negation general concentrates on his power. He transfers his psychic energy from the core and uses it on himself. He lifts himself off of the deck and sends his body flying upward. He holds up a fist to take the impact of the metal cieling that he flies right through. And so deck by deck Bogure flies upward, smashing his way up through the ship. His hope is to escape before-
The ship explodes. The jump gate energies tear the city sized vessel in half. The halves are twisted and shattered by the fantastic forces spewing out of its power and computer systems. This release of energy allows for the purpose of the jumpgate generator to be relalized as it forms into a wormhole within the ship. This doorway through space and time roars to life and begins to devour the vessel that had given birth to it. Every scrap of shattered metal, every corpse and object, everything of the Silvershriek is drawn into the jumpgate and vanishes. The vortex soon spends the last of its energy and swirls to a close, leaving nothing but empty space in its place. General Bogure and the SIlvershriek are gone.**

Coming out of the warp, Aliexster and the crew of the Interceptor are just in time to see the little pin prick that is now the Silvershrike explode and then implode into what ever void awaited it. Sighing a bit, the new capitan of the ship says, "Scan around the site of the ship, see if the general is out there..." He rests his head on his hands, not trying to think about what might have happened.

After about five minutes, the ensign at the scanner station says, "No sir, no other life signs out there, First or Negation. I.. I'm afraid..."

"It's alright Ensign," Aliexster says raising a hand, "We all pretty much knew that it would end like this, even the General. He died to save himself, there's nothing more noble a commander could do for his troops." Letting out a long sigh, he looks down at the rotting Sucanade body at his feet and says, "Could we get a few men up here to clear these bodies? If there's room, stick them in the freezer, I have a feeling that we will want to save as many of them as we can. That and see if the planet is alright, it wasn't as big an explosion as expected, but who knows what could have feel into the atmosphere."

As several men came up to lug the bodies off of the bridge, being rather respectful for the dead Lawbringers, the bridge was a hotbed of activity with the bridge crew running diagnostics on their equipment and silently thanking Charon they were alive. After what seemed like an hour, Ensign Ordan came up to Aliexster, "Capitan Vlaingrouski. I have contacted the planet, it was a little sketchy with all the subspace interferance and the fact the planetary shield was up. The good news is that they are alright, nothing has or is going to happen to the world. The bad news is that the Expeditionary High Command is furious with loosing the battle cruiser and want you to come down there to brief them in person."

Letting out a long sigh, Aliexster stands up, rubbing the bridge of his nose in slight annoyance. "Tell the Expeditionary High Command that we have a rather sensitve sitution. Some of our people might have been infected with a horrible disease and it will take time to cure them, until then we should remain quarentined. That and to get back on world we would have to travel through a piece of space that was just ripped assunder, so it will take maybe... five, six hours to get back to base. Please tell the commander of our regrets in this matter, and assure that we will come with all due haste."

"But sir," Ordan starts to say before he started to look into the Capitan's eyes, something he could never do with Borgue or any of the other Negation generals. A moment ago they were hard and threatening to kill him if he did not do what the mouth below asked. Now they just looked tired and yearning for a bit of rest after being through hell. This for some reason touched the ensign as he said, "Yes sir, I shall tell them the bad news and plot a new course to the station."

"Thank you Ensign Ordan," Aliexster says giving him a salute that was promptly returned, "If you need me I shall be in the infirmary mixing up a vaccine for those who have been bitten on the Silver Shrike." He starts to leave the bridge, but then thinks about something, turning about to clarify, "By 'need' I mean if there is some enemy battleship coming right at us or one of those blasted First appears on the bridge. The vaccine I am concocting is very delicate and I should not be disturbed, understand?"

"Of course sir."

"Good..." Aliexster says starting down the hallway once again, "Oh, and since the CO is occupied, tell the crew to stand down until we are ready to head back..."

After mixing up the anti-zombie seryum and administering it to the technicians that were bitten, Aliexster crashes on one of the unoccupied gurney beds and sleeps for the first time in what seemed like forever. Unfortunately, it was not a peaceful slumber as visions of Danae in pain kept flittering through his dreams, along with what seemed like an endless tide of undead Aliexster had to fight off, but the worst part is that there was someting else in there, that seemed to laugh at him. Something powerful that could make all his problems go away but would not lift a finger, prefering to see him suffer like this, though he did not ever get to see what it was, he felt he knew what it is. Soon he was awakened by a slight jolt as the ship finally lands on station to give their report, "Probably should have told them to wake me up before we landed..." he mutters stumbling to his cabin. After straightening up his hair and putting on *a dress uniform, he heads out to meet the rest of the remaining Negation commanders.

Quickly marching down the ramp into the compound, Aliexster is met with several rather irate officers that were already in front of the ship. "Well Capitan, welcome home on a mission well done." He said dripping with sarcasm, "Not only had you endangered this very world, but you BLEW UP the very thing you were supposed to retrive!!!! I knew that we never should have agreed to send that incompitent Borgue on this mission!"

About as soon as the words left the officer's lips, the back of Aliexster's hand struck his check and sending him staggering back for a minute. "I believe your forget your place CORONEL!" He says glaring at the chevrons on his shoulder, "If it was not for General Borgue, this planet would have been torn apart by the thing that was on the ship. Borgue was a great man, and until a proper military funeral is held in his memory, he is still the commander of this vessel and a superior officer, so do show some respect, sir."

"Why you..." The coronel says, starting to draw energy into his hand, but another came down to stay the hand.

"Now now, Coronel, the Capitan is right in a way," An officer with even more of his head covered in stars than most of the other officers, "Though I disapprove of his method of delivery, I wish my subordinates would defend my memory as such." Giving a glare at the officer. "Either way, we should not talk about what happened on the Silvershrike out here where the men could hear. Let us go inside and have a 'formal' debriefing."

"Yes Admiral," The smart mouthed Coronel said before following behind with the other officers and Aliexster in tow.

While Aliexster was debriefing what went on aboard the Silvershrike, the men of the Interceptor were grante a modicum of shore leave before the hearing was done. Several of the crew went down to a local pub to unwind a bit with a bottle, of course this was not something they alone had though up, as other off duty personel were relaxing at that certain watering hole. After they ordered their drinks, a few of them sauntered up to the table the Interceptor crew and few of the stormtroopers were sittting at. "Hey, you're that bunch of pansies that botched up that *salvage mission on the Silvershrike?" Another one piped up, "Yea, and aren't you lead by some Brighty?"

Taking particular offense at this, one of the stormtroopers stands up, "That's CAPITAN Vlaingrouski you're talking about Private, show some respect for the chain of command!"

"Huh," The first soldier said, pulling up a chair, "I don't see why I should show respect to some backwards person that we're here supposed to conqouer. What can he do that one of our own officer's can't? I know he's no where near as tough."

Glaring at the base soldiers, the storm trooper sat down, "You are partially right in some regard, he's not as powerful as one of our officers, but he is a better commander because of it. He stands toe to toe with the rest of us grunts on the firing line and in general undertakes the most dangerous missions himself. He doesn't send us off on suicide missions because if we're screwed, he's scewed."

"More like he's afraid of actually getting into the thick of things! He's a coward that isn't willing to go up against the First or their acursed servants."

"That's only because he joined too late to get into the fighting, if he was there on the front lines, I'm sure we would have won. Though he is not as physically as powerful as one of our generals, he's the most determined man I have ever seen. He even stared down Lawbringer ZTGZ in the eye and never backed down."

"What?" The second solider says leaning over the table, "You can't be serious, those things scare everything but Charon himself!"

"Not Capitan Vlaingrouski, I heard him comment several times over the internal lines about him, and wasn't exactly singing his praises if you know what I mean. It was almost like he'd dealt with something like that before..."

"Impossible! How can a mere Brighty have dealt with something n the scale of a Lawgiver!?!?!"

"I'm not sure, but what I know is that what I saw on board that ship was abomiable, horror that I am still trying hard to forget. But the Capitan takes it in stride and starts shooting anything that gets in his way. From what I hear, there was something worse than ZTGZ on board that thing."

"Like what? I can't imagine anything being able to get the best of one of them."

"There is, believe me," One of the bridge crew members says, "I saw ZTGZ body before we came back here, it was punctuated in several places and looked very much like the living dead. What ever was on that ship, it managed to enslave him."

"But the point is," The stormtrooper pipes up again, "That three people went into the bowels of the Silvershrike to do battle with what ever was in there; one was a Lawbringer, the other was a Negation general, and the last was the Capitan. The only one to walk out of there alive was the Capitan, I think that speaks volumes of what sort of a man he is." At that last comment the base soldiers remained stunned, effectively ending the conversation.

**Within the central command center of the of the Negation base the gathered generals and admirals hold the debriefing on the Silvershreak mission. The command center is a hive of control stations, surveillance and information gathering monitors, and anything needed to have complete mastery of this outpost's command systems. The dozens of soldiers and technicians that are hard at work within this large room control this entire planet. And these soldiers and technicians are controlled by the gathering of generals and admirals within the rooms center. The outpost's leaders sit around a ring shaped table within a observation-supression field, a device that makes them and their meeting invisible to all, including those in the room. The star faced men and women sit on the outside of this round table while the space in the center of it is occupied by a single chair and the human that sits on it. All eyes, whether they're covered by blue star like energy or not, are on Aliexster as he sits in the center of the gathering. They have just completed reviewing the events that had trasnpired aboard the Silvershriek, both from the captains perspective and from what the planet based surveillance sensors could determine. Now Admiral Sparsson, an oddly old man with the right half of his face consumed by the white and blue crackling energy, addresses Aliexster.**

A flagship lost, it's crew destroyed, our Lawbringer killed, the space above this world is a subspacial wasteland and the identity of the enemy behind all of this as well as its final fate remains unknown to us, what do you paln on doing for an encore, captain?

"I am not sure sir, but I am willing to do requests," The capitan says with no humour shining through his voice, "But at the recent matter, I did my job sir. We meet several hundred hostiles on board the ship that were coming to make this world a vast wasteland. The crew as you put it were already casualties when we got on board, there was nothing we could do, or any way we could find out about what did it. If we had downloaded and study the code in that computer, we would risk infecting our ship with what ever was on there. I neutralized the threat to the best of my abilities, and got out with most of the away team back with no major injuries. The only reason I left General Borgue was because he gave me a direct order to leave and save the others as he saved all of you, sir." Aliexster's eyes do not stray from the Admiral in front of him, not showing any emotion but sitting at attention like a good soldier.

**The admiral stares at the human, as if looking directly into the core of Aliexster's being. The other members of the gathering whisper to themselves, each one has an opinion on the mission that forces its way out in a hushed debate amongst themselves. But when the admiral once again speaks to the captain the others fall silent.**

You're correct, Captain Vlaingrouski, the Negation still survives. In these dark times that is the important part. In our own universe merely surviving was often viewed as a failure. Absolute victory was required. But now we must bide our time, survive to fight again. Partial victories wil have to do for now.
Even though lives and resources were lost to us it has taught us a lesson. A gathering such as this leaves us vulnerable. All of us could have been wiped out in a single attack. And so I grant you, your ship and your personnel freedom to return to your base of operation. By allowing small factions, such as yours, independance we may gain more than we could if we kept all of our forces on one planet. And we'd be less vulnerable to complete annihilation.
For your part in the Silvershreak mission, and in order to ensure that your faction does not fall victim to an internal power struggle, I grant you command of the Interceptor and whatever assets General Bogure had under his control. I will expect regular, encrypted reports from you regularly. And you will expect orders and assignments to be sent to you on occassion. You have proven yourself useful and so you will be at our disposal when we require it.

Aliexster stands up and gives a sharp salute to the gathered officers, "Thank you very much sir, I humbly accept this new command and shall continue our misison to bring about the revitalization of the Empire. If I could be excused sirs, I've got some business I need to take care of before leaving he planet." Bowing to the assembled *commitie, he waits for an opening to come about in the circle, striding out quickly into the base to find a chaplin.

A few hours later, most of the crew of the Interceptor and it's Stormtrooper squad were gathered in an out of the way hall on the edge of the military base's grounds. They were all gathered about a brazier with blue flame burning away in it while in front of a holoscreen with General Borgue's last offically recorded portrait on it. Sitting near the head of the congregration was Aliexster, though he seemd a bit uncomfortable there, this was not the type of funeral he was used to, but it was the General's way, so he must endure it. So far they have mostly been singing hymns that he did not know the words to, trying to mouth out the lyrics though too embarased to try and sing along. He silently waits for the Chaplin to come up and deliver the rites of burrial, wanting to get on to Atz' funreal and writing the letter home to his family.

((Sorry, it took me a while to figure out what to post.))

**The entire crew of the Inteceptor attends General Bogure's funeral. It is a mixed crew, with mixed feelings. Some had served with the General back when he commanded an attack fleet in the Negation universe. These are the loyal men and women that had seen Bogure at his best. To them, no matter what happened, Bogure could do no wrong. They will miss him.
Then there are those that were assigned to the Interceptor after Bogure's first failure on Planet M, after he had lost his fleet command, and he was assigned to accompany Lawbringer QLNZ on a mission to assassinate Qwaring's clone#1 in this universe. They have seen Bogure at his worst. The General's constant fights with QLNZ, two more failed attacks on Planet M, a doomed alliance with beings of this universe, battle after battle lost. To them he was leading them to their deaths.
And lastly there are those that joined from the V'Nelcao outpost, Bogure took command of them after the War with the bright universe had been lost and all hope of returning home was gone. To them he was a general that had faced the worst this alien cosmos had to offer and somehow managed to survive. He was neither great nor terrible, he was simply the only choice they had for survival.
In fact Bogure's command was the only choice for the entire crew. The general, his ship and his mad schemes were the only path for them to take once the failed invasion had cut them off from their home and chain of command. He was the last connection to the empire's command. The only general to lead them. And possibly the only one who can lead them home. But now he's gone. His leadership is gone. His power gone. His insane schemes-
They live on, or at least the latest scheme, in Captain Aliexster Vlaingrouski. Bopgure had believed that the human's ether armor would be a powerful weapon against the First. These armors have proven their usefulness. Their power against those that wield Universal Energy has been tested time and again. Now it rests on the shoulders of Aliexster to use these armors as the weapon that Bogure hoped they would be. The crew of the Interceptor, no matter how they felt about Bogure, believed in their mission, most of them believed in it simply because it was the only thing left to believe in. The human had proven himself to the crew over these past few months, and now they will put that trust to the ultimate test, by following him as they had followed Bogure.
The funeral, and all of it's closely followed and very ancient rituals, comes to a close as a stone coffin, empty since no body was ever recovered, is fed into an ebony colored funeral pyre. The flames burn and crack the stone. Within minutes to coffin is broken up into so much dust. The fire dies down and, if the scripture can be believed, Bogure's soul is finally put to rest.**

Lowering his head as the casket was lowered into the pyre, Aliexster just says a silent prayer that Borgue is in a better place right now, though for some reason he knows that can not be. Once the service is over he heads back to the Interceptor once their shore leave has run up, he seemed to find a lot more people milling about the ship than before. "What's all this then Ensign?"

"Uh not quite sure about that myself sir," He says lookking at the rather young soldiers gazing at the capitan of the ship expectantly, "I though I heard about what happened up there and well, they want a transfer over to V'Nelcao, they want to become stormtroopers."

This surprised the capitan a little bit, but he took it in great stride slowly walking up the ramp he says to the masses wholesale, "I will tell you now, the training is tough and arduous. I have found that most Negation regular troops are completely inaddquate for the types of mission my men will be going on. I would be surprised if a third of you make it through, but if you think you can hack it. Come aboard with your transfer papers, and we'll see what sort of Hell we can put you through to pay for your valued armor."

Heading to he bridge, he heard the soldiers quickly file in and search for some place to stow their stuff before take off. Sliding himself into the chair, Aliexster gives the order to lift off once all recruits are inside. Soon the engines fire up and the ship starts to take off, and for some reason, it feels odd to him, he's usually in the back with the rest of his squad, but now he is in command, getting up to a full company strength. He wonders if he is ready for this challenge, but realizes there is no turning back, not matter how much he wanted to. Once out of the atmosphere he flips on the ships intercom, "Attention all hands, this is Colonel Vlaingrouski speaking. I know things have been tough with the war seemingly already over and the general dead. I will admit I am a bit worried about this myself, but I have realized that there is no turning back. We have been backed into a corner and if the enemy finds us, they will show us no mercy, we have only one recourse, to hide and wait. It may take many years, but I promise you that at the end of this, you will see your friends and family or see those who seperated you from them pay for this indigity..." With that he slumps down in the chair and gives a weak signal to the ensign, "Take us back to V'Nelcao, we have a lot of work to do..."
