This game is popular on another site. It is actually very easy. If you are the last person to post in the thread, you can pronounce yourself king or queen of the thread. That is, until the next person comes along to snatch that title away from you. :lol:

Rules:
No double-posting. Once you've staked your claim, you have to wait for someone else to post before you can reclaim your titlte, throne, crown, whatever.
Have fun. Good natured teasing is more than welcome. Even a little friendly bantering is encouraged.

Now that the rules are out of the way....

A gong sounds and a big hand appears from behind the curtain and pulls Tigers off the throne. Lairston sits down and sighs contently.

*Metal cuffs suddenly appear on the "throne's" arms and base, locking Lairston into the chair. The fake chair is then quickly lowered into the dungeon while Jas is raised from the dungeon on the real throne.*

Lairston is shocked when he can't move. He struggles with the locks for some time before finally managing to get a hand free with a toothpick. He then works on the other locks. Once freed, he goes to the door and starts trying to get out. Then he remembers the secret. Leveridge. He takes a board and adjusts it just so and the door pops off its hinges and he heads for the throne room.

...for a little while, until Xetal crowns him with the crown and sits on the throne, offering Lairston some ointment for the bump on his head and some Old Peculier anaesthetic.

While Xetal is tending to Lairston, Jas takes the throne! :D

Jas only thought he was taking the throne as after Lairston wrapped Xetal in the curtain, he sent Jas out of the window and into the moat. Then sat down in the throne.

I decree that locks be put on the drawbridge. And windows. And...

...Lairston manages no more royal commands as Xetal upends the throne and sends him sprawling across the floor to clatter into a suit of armour as Xetal sits down on the throne.

As Xetal goes to take his seat upon the throne a false bottom opens up and Xetal falls through into the dungeon.

*Guards come in to escort Tigs to the dungeons where she trapped Xetal.*

Xetal invites Tigs to a game of leaprog in the dungeon, jumps onto her back, hauls himself up to the false bottom of the throne he can thus reach, and heaves himself through it, sending Jason sprawling across the floor into the other suit of armour, and sits down on the throne, rubbing his sore real bottom.

Pulls the throne out from beneath Xetal and lets him return to the dungeon.

I'm back!

*taps Lairston on the shoulder long enough for him to see who is reclaiming the throne*

Xetal arrives with metal polish and starts to vigorously polish Quaxo's armoured self. When she takes a swing at him for going too near where he shouldn't (but couldn't) he ducks, kicks her standing leg away and sits on the throne to watch her clatter in a shining heap at his feet.

How dare you touch my daughter..

Casts a spell on Xetal that sends him flying out of the window into the moat. Once there, an anchor is magically attached to his leg so that he's anchored in the moat. He can keep his head above water. Barely.

[Xetal]

Xetal is so surprised to see the Baron after all this time that he faints. When he loses consciousness the spell is broken and he charges back up to the throne room expecting to have to fight the Baron. Nothing could be fa(r)ther from the truth: he's so busy helping his daughter out of the armour that Xetal can just sneak in and sit back down on the throne unnoticed.

[Lairston]

Just shoves Xetal off the throne.

This is mine!

Snarls.

That looks like assault to me. Guards, arrest him! Assault and impersonating royalty.

*As the guards take Lairston away, Jason sits down on the throne.*

Now that's better.

[Lairston]

Laughs as he changes the text of Jason's words. While Jason wonders what is going on... Lairston escapes the guards and retakes the throne.

MAHAHAHA

*As soon as Lairston sits back in the throne, Jas activates the ejector seat and ejects Lairston out of the castle window into the moat below.*

Too easy.

*Jas moves the fake throne with the ejector seat and sits on the real throne.*

Lairston returns soak and wet and glares at Jas.

Usurper! Seize him and cast him in the dungeon with whoever's there. And then stand guard on him.

[Jason Sanborn]

*The guard graciously obeys, but not in the way that Lairston would suspect. Instead, he takes Lairston to the dungeons and literally stands on top of him.*

See, the guards know who the real king is. :P

GET OFF ME

He flings the guard off of himself and heads out the cell. He makes it back to the throne room. He then proceeds to retake the throne by causing a gag to appear around Jas's mouth and causing him to float off the throne while struggling with the magic gag.

Ah king again.

Retakes the throne.

Xetal tips Lairston off the throne while still laughing at the gag, and sits down on it to recover his equanimity

[Lairston]

I'll take that mate.

Motions with his saber for Xetal to get up and then sits down.

[Xetal]

...on the floor, as the throne has jammed on Xetal's butt as he stands up. Thus jolted, the sabre flies across the floor and Xetal sits down again as Cap'n Jack runs after it.

[Lairston]

After Jack recovered his cutlass... he returned and removed Xetal from the throne. Making sure the throne was there, he sat down and smiled contently upon the true throne.

[Xetal]

'Hey,' says Xetal, 'You dropped a sabre but came back with a cutlass. Guess who's got a sabre now.'
He swings it in Cap'n Jack's direction and when he ducks forward, tips him out of the throne and reoccupies it, sabre at the ready.

[Lairston]

While he's distracted by Jack, Lairston once again tosses him from the chair and retakes the throne. :P

[Xetal]

Xetal discards bent sabre, dons Scrooge McDuck halloween mask, sneaks up behind Lairston and says 'QuaBoo!' Lairston falls about laughing at this pathetic attempt, but also falls off throne, which Xetal reoccupies.

[Tigers]

*Graciously places a giant sized whoopee cushion under Xetal as she sits upon the real throne!* 8)

[Xetal]

Grateful for the small mercy of any cushion, Xetal summons the most seductive and bright-burning male tiger on earth to carry away Tigers while she's swooning over his fearful symmetry. And sits on the throne for at least a bit of Halloween...

*realizes just how long she's been gone and returns to remove Xetal from the throne. As she has him removed from the throne, she hands him a thank you card*

But ends up on the floor as Lairston has once again procured the throne. But he is enjoying the show between the two Tigers and Xetal's shocked expression.

Recovering from shock, Xetal rips live cable from wall and applies one to Lairston's posterior. As he flies up into the air, Xetal resumes seat on throne, dropping cable for the quivering wreck that is Lairston to land on when he comes down again.

*Jas hands Xetal a flyer to a pub advertising free warm English beer for anyone that goes by "Xetal."*

Starts walking off with the flyer but then realizes it must be a trick and does a uturn tossing the flyer back at Xetal and heads for the throne which he dispatches from Jas's clutches.

Fortified with Old Peculier, Xetal crowns Lairston with the empty barrel and reoccupies the throne as he slithers to the floor...

*using a large scoop, Xetal is placed on a soft bed to sleep off the effects of Old Peculier as Tigers takes her rightful place on the throne.*

Several days later, Xetal comes back and sets up a newspaper stand outside Tigers's throne-room window.
'Latest scoop! Palace coup!' he gets the seller to yell, and when Tigers comes to the window to see who dares he rushes in from a side door and reoccupies the throne.

While Xetal is occupied on the porcelain throne, Jas comes in and takes the real throne. :P

[Tigers]

*After sifting through the confusion and redirecting her attention, Tigers pulls a switch as Jason falls into a secure room and retakes the throne.* :D 8)

Xetal takes a switchback ride and finds himself back on the real throne, his stomach churning enough to wonder if the porcelain one might not be safer...

Until he falls off from too many drinks and Lairston takes his place on the throne. o:)

Xetal sobers up, puts waterfall sounds on the muzak system, sidles up to the throne and jumps onto it again when Lairston rushes out for the loo.

Picks the locks in the dungeon and returns to the throne room. Has Tigs dethroned and ejected from the castle.

Xetal walks into the throne room and sounds off something theologically unsound (to put it gently o:) ) Jason is in high dudgeon in no time: it's easy to grab the throne back when he's not actually on it, but beside himself... :D

Lairston walks back in and sends Xetal back to the royal dungeon and then sits down on the throne.

The throne is mine once more.

Jas recovers from Xetal's insulting assault and notices that Lairston was now on the throne.

Go, join Xetal in the dungeons!

Jas has his guards take Lairston away while Jas sat down on his throne again.

Breaks free from the guards and runs back to the throne room and reclaims the throne from Jas who was magicked away to the courtyard outside the castle.

Jas suddenly reappears behind the throne and knocks Lairston off the throne.

[Xetal]

Xetal returns from vacation in Orlando, fortified by more roller-coaster rides than any sensible human ought to fit into a fortnight, and sits back on the throne because it reminds him of the ups and downs. Jason is dispatched to Orlando for more practice at same.

Jason wishes he could afford to travel to Orlando, so instead, he just returns to the roller-coaster in this thread, and resumes the throne. ;)

[Xetal]

Xetal sneaks up behind Jason and bellows 'Happy New Year' in his ear. When he jumps up with a start, Xetal whisks the throne away and places it under his own posterior...

*Tigers slips a plastic lawn chair where the thrown would be as Xetal goes to take his seat*

Xetal gets up, rubbing grass-clippings from his posterior, takes out cigarettes and lighter, remembers it's a non-smoking palace until he's back on the throne again, so sets fire to Tigers' tail instead.

When she leaps from the throne Xetal sits down on it - and foolhardily grabs said tail to light up with.... o:)

While Tigers mauls Xetal, Lairston rubs his hands together and reclaims the throne.

[Xetal]

Lairston rubs his hands together so hard they catch fire. Xetal grabs the throne back while Lairston is being hosed down by the fire brigade.

Haha! *Paladin rides in on horse, and snatches the crown!*

Xetal doesn't care about the crown: he always wears a fake. He remains seated firmly on the throne as Paladin rides off into the sunset o:)

Xetal re-enters throne room and sneaks up behind Ellesar, but sneezes loudly just as he's about to grab the throne. Ellesar jumps so much Xetal can just sit down on the throne to blow his nose....

*lands on a button that launches Xetal out of her throne*

*sits down again*

Xetal frusratedkly blows his nose in Ellesar's general direction. Ellesar's secret sensors misread and warn her of bubonic plage germs being blown her way. She runs while she can and Xetal sits back down on the throne wondering what lergy he actually has...

*returns in a full biohazard suit and brings a biohazard team with her*

*biohazard team drags Xetal off to the CDC to be tested as she reclaims her throne*

Xetal returns, decontaminated, with a full-length mirror. When Ellesar sees what she looks like in a full biohazard suit she faints and Xetal reoccupies the throne.

[Ellesar]

*awakens and pulls off the biohazard suit before doing some research and then sending the FBI after Xetal on the allegations she found*

*reclaims the throne yet again*

Dodges FBI and returns to the throne room. Tosses Elessar some clothes to put on in place of the suit she's pulled off :smirk:, and sits back down on the throne while she goes to get dressed.

*ignores the clothes since she was already wearing an outfit under the biohazard suit*

*presses a button that drops Xetal and the decoy throne he's on into a large vat of blue jello and then sits down on the real throne*

While Xetal and Ellesar are quarreling, Jason slips in and takes the throne.

And is quickly dethroned by Lairston.

*slips a cushion full of tacks behind Lairston and then reclaims the throne when he jumps a mile high from all of the tacks*

Xetal waits until Lairston falls back down on top of Ellesar and knocks her off the throne, then sits back down on it to watch the disentanglement...

*frees herself from Lairston and then goes to hire a crane*

*operates the crane and hoists Xetal out of her throne and dangles him above the ocean*

*sits down on her throne again*

which has been removed and she ends up on the floor.

So that Lairston can take the throne.

*Pushes Xetal off the throne and sits down.*

*quickly claims the real throne as she starts to press the button that would activate Jason's electric chair*

*Dives out of the chair and tackles Ellesar, knocking her out of the throne and claiming the throne as his own once more.*

*shoves Jason out of her throne and sits down again*

Drops a real snake on Ellesar and as she screams and runs for cover, Lairston retakes the throne.

*isn't afraid and drags Lairston off of the throne and dumps him into a vat of snakes and spiders*

*sits down again*

*Kindly nudges Ellesar off the throne and into the vat of snakes and spiders with Lairston*

*climbs out of the vat and drops a handful of snakes and spiders onto tigers' lap* :P

*reclaims throne*

Sets a real tiger (hungry, too) onto Ellesar and sits on the throne to watch the carnage as she flees...

*Sets the tiger's mate, who is also hungy, on Xetal, sits on the throne and watches as Xetal runs after Ellesar.*

*sets a tiger trap to safely get away and then releases a million mosquitoes on Jason*

*pulls the throne to safety and sits down*

*emerges from the vat, revels in her power over the tiger ( and snickers that it has suddenly become popular), places mosquito netting on and promptly boots Ellesar from the throne.*

Throws piece of cheese across the throne room and sits back on the throne when Garfield/Lairston runs over to eat it.

Lairston when he's finished with the cheese returns to the throne and tosses Xetal from it. Then sits back down.

*Jas's guards come in and drag Lairston off to the mines in forced labor.*

*a giant crane plucks Jason up from the throne and places him in the mines with Lairston*

*giggles*

*The crane malfunctions before it can grab Jas, and the resulting explosion knocks Tigers unconscious.*

Lairston performs a spell which brings Jason to the mines. "Hello Jason. Bye Jason"

Disappears to the throne room. Seals the room.

*wipes the tear from her eye as she boots Lairston from the throne*

*Goes through the secret tunnels and returns to the throne room.*

*retakes the throne while Lairston is casting his spell on Jason.*

*Throws a rock at Lairston to knock him unconcious and interrupt the spell. When Jason falls, he lands right on top of Tigers, who was sitting on the throne.*

*sets a tack in the seat and moves somewhere safe* :P

Saves Jason from tack by throwing him off the throne before he can sit down. Removes tack from setting and throws it after Jason. Sits on throne to get his breath back.

*Lands on a cushion on the floor and tack lands on floor.*

*Dethrones Xetal.*

Lairston appears, "I'm the king. You are a usurper."

"And I'm here to reclaim my throne."

:queen: *hugs* and slips onto the throne seat... "Thank you darlings for warming it up for me! You are just too sweet!"

Hugs right back, lifting Cyberwing off the throne and sitting down on it himself.

He sits down and pats her on the shoulder. "Its okay."
