  1. Windows 8: A disaster in the making

    So I installed Windows 8 into a virtualbox and played with it for a little bit. All I can say is what on earth is microsoft thinking? This is by far the worse operating system they have ever come up with. A touched based system does not work if you don't have a touchscreen. And last time I checked there aren't that many touchscreen desktops....

    Why on earth would they do this now? Maybe in a few years...

    Even playing Solitaire on Windows 8 is a chore and not fun...

  3. Florida Shooting

    It is unbelievable to me that this can be considered standing your ground under any circumstances. It sounds more like see someone, pursue them, and shoot them without any reason. Its murder. Standing one's ground means protecting where you are. Not running a block or whatever while the person is going away from you... This is absurd.

    This moron should be in jail on murder charges.

  4. Software Development

    It can be a trying thing making software. I spent the last week adding the blog and blog comments to the activity stream. I thought it would take an hour but I overlooked something in the other streams that were already built into the activity stream.

    That meant it went from an hour to days as I scratched my head trying to figure out what I forgot.

  5. No to Privatizing the United States Postal Service

    You some times hear the mantra that the Postal Service needs to be privatized. They claim that it will be better organized and cutomers will get better service at a better price. That sounds really good. You'd think they'd hurry to do this if customers will get better service at a better price.
