How do I add an image to my blog post?
So you’ve written a nice post and want to add an image to it. Well the first thing you do is go up to the add media which is located above bold and italics. There you will click the star looking icon
Clickthe star looking icon and a new window appears. Here you need to click the Select Files. This will give you the ability to upload a file from your computer.
After you have told it where the file is that you want to upload, you have many more options open up. You can add caption and other information. Also you can say whether or not you want the image to be aligned left, right, or centered.
Finally you can decide whether or not you want the image to appear at full size or to shrink it in some way. Once you have set those choices, click the insert into post button. And you’re done.
You are returned to your post and you can continue writing.
One problem some people may encounter is having trouble finding where to post a reply to a thread. Simply scroll down and look carefully; on the left side you will see a button that says ‘Post Reply’ just click on it and there you go; you will be directed to a posting box with dozens of features. On the left side beside the posting box is a set of colors; simply click on one and your text will be that color as you type in the box.
Another feature is being able to create your own RPG forum. This is really sweet; trust me. let’s say you have a idea for a rpg; as long as you have 100 posts and are in (Or were in) another RPG (Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.), you can go to this thread:
http://www.quarrelsandquills.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1118
and ask for a forum to be created. please fill out the forum. However before doing that; we ask that you first post a thread asking if anyone is interested in your rpg; this prevents a useless forum from being created.
Okay; by reading the title you’re wondering ‘what features?’. That’s what this is here for; to point them out. One of them is, when you send a pm; and you want to add something or rewrite it somehow, you can simply go to your Outbox, click on the message and you’ll see a button that says, ‘*EDIT’ . simply click on that and edit your message! (Note: You cannot edit a message after it has been read by whoever you sent it to; if it has been read, it will be in your sent messages, not your outbox). You also have the option to delete your pm; there will be a X near the edit button; simply click on that to delete. It will give you message wanting to confirm it; simply click ‘Yes’ to delete. You can edit or delete your posts in a thread by going to that post and clicking on either ‘EDIT’ or our friend the ‘X’.
At first glance; it seems that the Control Panel is worthless when subscribing to a thread. Many new members cannot find how to add a thread to their subscriptions on the control panel. But, there is a way. Simply scroll down to the bottom of the thread you wish to add, and look carefully for something that says Subscribe Topic; click it. You will receive a message confirming you have subscribed to it. It should then appear on your control panel in the main tab, called ‘Overview’. If it does not; seek out one of the board for help on this matter. to unsubscribe from a topic, go to that thread and go down to where you subscribe to one; if you are currently subscribed to it; it will say Unsubscribe Topic. Click it, and it will disappear off your list.
While this is subject to change, the following are permitted on the the board:
