Snapped

Things have not been going well for anyone. Work has been insane. Timelines have been causing arguments in the QA office. Dealt with it yesterday, and QA had a separate meeting for it yesterday. Thought that would be the end of it. Unfortunately, the argument resumed today because one person, who wasn't in yesterday, disagreed with what happened. I tried to leave the office, to get away from the argument for a while, I came back, they were still arguing. I put on my headset and turned up the volume, but could still hear them arguing. I finally snapped.
"Enough already!" I almost shouted in my frustration.
"We're having problems...." the woman who was out yesterday started to say. I didn't give her a chance to finish.
"We all have problems! DEAL WITH IT!" The "Deal with it" was almost shouted at her. After that, I stormed out of the office, my body shaking from the stress.
Another co-worker and friend, Javier, came out to talk to me after that happened. After I calmed down a bit, I went to talk to the manager, to let him know what happened. I knew she would go to him eventually, so I wanted him to know that I had snapped at her.
When I tried to apologize to her after that, I'm not even sure if she accepted my apology. She sort of off-handedly said "ok" then quickly followed with the excuses for the argument. I let it slide, letting her make her excuses. I also apologized to the one other co-worker who was mainly involved in the argument, and he was understanding and forgiving.
Needless to say, this day is off to a wonderful start.![]()
