QC1: From this day forth you shall be called "Sprinkle Berryweather".

Kevin Flynn: The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships, motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day... ...I got in!

    [OOC] Eryonne Bestiary

N.B. Most of this information is not known to the mass public. The forest elves would have more of a chance knowing that the fae exist and what they look like, but would likely have had limited contact with them.

    Race: Fae
Lifespan: Unknown – varies with associated natural component
Height: 3 inches to 6 feet

    Description:
Seeing the fae at all is a feat not often accomplished by the average person. Their skin is a nigh-translucent blue and their eyes lightly glow with a soft blue-white light. Their bodies are out of proportion, with their limbs being substantially longer than would be expected from an average humanoid form - their fingers and toes are exceptionally long and pointed. The faces of the fae do not vary much between individuals. They all have long sloping foreheads that merge effortlessly with a long, straight nose that comes down to where one would expect lips to be. They have no mouth – if they communicate with each other at all, it is through other means not recognizable by the current scientific minds of Eryonne. The fae have no gender, or at least, no visible distinction of gender.

Their “associated natural components” are their only distinguishing features. Some fae have branches making up parts of their bodies, some have mushrooms growing out of their backs and still others have stone apparently embedded in their clear blue flesh. They have the ability to move into anything of the earth, leaving the parts of them that are of the more physical realm in plain sight. This is how a stone that wasn’t there before will trip up your cart on the next morning’s journey.

    Personality:
Not much is known of the fae. No one has ever conversed with one – to the knowledge of the average populous, at least. They appear to communicate with non-fae entities through the nature they are so closely related to. Protective of this nature, they are willing and able to take up aggressive defensive positions when necessary.

    Strengths and Weaknesses:
Their greatest strength is the utter mystery they are surrounded with. Nigh-invisibility and camouflage keep them shielded from the public eye, but perhaps not from the inquisitive one. Children and forest elves in particular are the greatest enemy of their anonymity.

They can move through the earth and anything related to nature, though their natural components cannot.

The rumour among the wood elves is that the fae regulate the nature magic, but this has yet to be proven. However much a rumour, this drives some to seek out the fae – to destroy them if they see the fae as keeping the nature energy from other races, or to protect them if they see the fae as keepers of the natural balance of the world.

    Miscellaneous:
The fae are extremely intelligent and communicate with each other through a variant of telepathy. They exist partially in a different dimension, but are tied to Eryonne through the nature they associate themselves with. When a tree a fae is hiding in dies (or any other natural element the fae is associated with is destroyed), or when instability caused by magical chaos strikes the region where a fae resides, the fae loses its grip on the physical realm and slips back into its own dimension. They may “reincarnate” into another natural component after a rest period. It is unknown what exactly occurs within this other dimension to allow them this apparent immortality.
Winner of the dubious Vaarsuvius Award for Verbousness!

    I support altruism.

    Race: Jewellites
Lifespan: Maximum: until the gemstone shatters (lesser jewels shatter more easily therefore have a shorter lifespan)
    Height: 3”- 7” (Average height: 5”)

    Description:
These tiny creatures tend to be more ethereal in appearance and tend to look like a flash of light in the corner of one’s eye looking like a flash of light the color of the gemstone. Example: an Emerald Jewellite would look like a flash of green; unless they take on their more corporeal form. The Jewellites rarely do this as it makes them more vulnerable. They appear like delicate little dolls with skin the color the jewel that they inhabit. They are distant cousins to the Fae.

    Personality:
The Jewellites tend to be pranksters. Leaning toward silly and comical but they never intend any harm. The Jewellites rarely show themselves except to one who has earned their trust. They prefer to remain happily inside their ‘jewel’ only coming out to hunt ‘night dew’ and their favorite flower nectars in the cover of darkness.

    Strengths and Weaknesses:
The Jewellites use two offensive attacks. The first is a ‘merciless tickle attack’ that is impossible to defend against. The second is used only rarely and when a Jewellite faces no other choice. They can emit a blinding flash of light the color of their gemstone directly into an enemies eyes but this usually takes a great deal of energy and they prefer to run and hide.

    Miscellaneous:
The Jewellites have lost an ability they used to have called Gem Shield but they have no idea where to find it or how to go about discovering clues about it. They will however ask everyone they trust if they know anything... several times... to the point of annoyance...
