[IC] Mystery of the Dragons

[Lairston]

Nin smiled, "Thanks Daniel." She ate some of her sandwich and then wiped her mouth with a napkin. And giggled with her mouth half full.

"I can be a little messy."

Balathas watched the dragolians orbit her head. He cocked his head and watched them, "Does that get unnerving?"

He waited until she had finished writing the note then followed her out to the horse. He wasn't sure about riding double. She was a married woman after all but since time was of the essence he did climb up behind her with her assistance.

He took the pack as directed, "Okay. I have it. And it won't get away."

He kept a hold of the supplies the whole way there in his right hand while holding on to her with his left so that he didn't end up falling off.

He dismounted once they reached the palace and went inside. He looked around in awe. "Its gorgeous in here."

He whispered, "I remember I was supposed to get in here at all costs." He followed her deeper into the palace."I don't remember exactly why. He wanted me to get something or one."

[Cyberwing]

Tahlee took Balathas to the doors leading to the dragon yard. She nodded absently to his comment.
"I'm going to go get my personal things and we will be off. You wait here Balathas."

[Lairston]

Balathas nodded and stopped. "Okay Tahlee. I will be here." He started looking around the room that he was left in.

[Ellesar]

"That's half the fun of it though, Nin." Daniel said with a grin.

Lukai and Miok kept a wary eye on Balathas, but didn't make any attempt to move from where they were lying, although a couple of the baby dragons who were staying at the palace came up to Balathas curiously.

Jessam heard footsteps approaching the suite and stood up to meet Tahlee when she entered. "Everything's all packed for us, my love." he said softly, motioning to the packs on the bed. "And I've filled Ellethwyn in on things." Ellethwyn walked over to Tahlee and embraced her as she said, "Don't you worry about things here, Tahlee. I'll make sure that the boys remain safe."

[Lairston]

Nin laughed, "You think so huh?" She shook her head.

Balathas looked at the dragons and assumed it was okay since they were this close to the palace. He leaned down and reached his hand out to the baby dragons, "Hello."

[Cyberwing]

"I'm so sorry to do this... if Sira weren't so important I would let someone else do this and stay with the boys. I'm going to find a switch, right after I find that errant Princess!" Tahlee replied to Ellethwyn with irritation in her voice.

"The boys are pretty much settled into a routine but you know that so I guess just try to stick with the routine. I will try to be back within a few days."

Tahlee went into the boys room and leaned over their bed to kiss each one on the forehead.

"I'll be back soon my precious ones!"

"Thank you Ellethwyn, we must go now." Tahlee hugged her sister-in-law again and picked up her pack. She turned and hurried out the door, tears in her eyes. She had to go quickly or she was not going to be able to go at all.

[Ellesar]

((hmm... methinks Sira might want to go into hiding before the others get there ))

Ellethwyn nodded in reply and said, "You know I'll keep them in their routine. You won't have anything to worry about here." Jessam buckled on his sword and then picked up his own pack before hugging his sister and heading for the door with Tahlee.

The baby dragons squeaked in surprise and scampered away, only to inch forward again a few moments later.

[Lairston]

Balathas smiled at the baby dragons and kneeled down and whispered, "I won't hurt you." He let his hand out in front so they could smell it if they wanted to.

[Ellesar]

One of the baby dragons sniffed at Balathas's hand, and inched a little bit closer. It cocked its head slightly and peered up at Balathas curiously.

[Lairston]

Balathas smiled and attempted to pet the baby's head.
