Aw, thanks! I'm glad you approve!
And how's Saskia's jewellery collection? Any books? Leaflets? Sandals with sombreros on them?![]()

She's already stolen Anakita's CD collection and her roller blades.
Great post, Quaxo!![]()

So, yes, there's a reason why I'm writing this apparent randomness instead of posting in the GW2-era thread.
I realized what's getting in my way with it is that I hadn't figured out all the details of Anakita's curse. "Mortal Sins" is the story of how that curse happened, and what it will entail for her future - I really need to backtrack and write it, rather than just assuming it happened, to make progress on what comes after. Once that's written, it should be easier for me to plot how it will affect her down the road.
Sorry for the ongoing delay, but this is useful, I promise.![]()
I am a big GW idiot. Just so you know.
I decided to try the new Halloween challenge mission ("Scarred Psyche") but I didn't bother to read the mission description online because normally it's either fairly obvious what to do in the challenge missions, or else it's explained in-game. Big mistake.
We stood at the centre defending the platform and Mad King Thorn as waves of undead attacked. It was all well and good, and we had no trouble holding them off. In fact, it was too easy, and by the 15 minute mark I was starting to question that, because the enemy spawns weren't getting any bigger, there were no bosses, and... there just didn't seem to be much "challenge" in the challenge mission. By the 18 minute mark, I decided it was time to look at the wiki.
At which point, of course, I learned that I was also supposed to be looking for and eliminating the six generals and their priests. (I thought they were eventually going to be coming to me, rather than the other way around.) And once I figured that out, I had twelve remaining minutes to do this.
We got it done and won the mission - with less than a minute to spare - but those were some of the most insane minutes Anakita has ever spent in Tyria.
So yeah, you can mock my idiocy!![]()
Oh, don't worry about it! You still succeeded! I didn't use the wiki at first because I thought it was 'cheating' - like a walk-through in Uru.
Now I see the necessity!
If it wasn't okay to end the battle - DO let me know. I really don't mind editing! I just thought I'd toss it in there as I was kinda going there anyway. Splicing is what DNA does best! Well, aside from replicate...

Will work on Eiran's next. I only had time to do up one at lunch break today!
Oh Winds of Change, why do you keep lulling me into a false sense of security, and then killing Anakita horribly and destroying my self-esteem?![]()
