    History of the Belluae Imperium

    History of the Belluae Imperium

The founding of the Imperium was by Malix the Great. He is said have laid the foundation of the Imperial palace himself and it was built brick by brick by his own sweat. He is said to have been a just and righteous ruler of the imperium and that many other parts of the future empire voluntarily voted to become part of his empire. It is said that his rule was fairer and the people welcomed this.

This of course is the legend of the founding. The actual events of the empire's beginning is pure speculation because the empire has existed for seven thousand years. Or so the empire claims.

In the year 434 of the empire, the kingdom of Hadrix was absorbed into the empire by royal decree. This kingdom was 200 miles northwest of Eranius. The emperor at the time was Kilon the Magnificent Lion. The people of Hadrix opened the gates to Kilon when he arrived and he entered. He executed the king of Hardrix after a trial. The people of Hadrix celebrated in the streets as the body of their deposed leader was taken through and then burned.

The year 1156 saw the capture of the Jilon Empire. This brought the Imperium the cities: Kinos, Menith, and Cartin. The Jilon empire had existed for 500 years and were known for their great philosphies. The Imperium absorbed them and brought them back to Eranius. Where they became part of the curriculum of their university.

The Parsius Mountains kept the Imperium from expanding further for almost 2000 years.

Re: [OOC] History of the Belluae Imperium

The way through the Parsius Mountains was discovered by the general Binadad. He led his soldiers through the valley of Dumium and discovered a great collection of city-states. The city-states warred with one another even though they also belonged to the Aegein Federation.

The Aegein Federation held games every four years that was supposed to determine the states that would be dominant in the Federation for the next four years. This was supposed to keep the city-states together and not destroy one another.

The city-state of Byblos was the center of the great Religion. It is unknown when the religion was founded but it claims to have begun when the world was created in the beginning. Byblos held the honor of being the caretaker of the religious texts and the city also had fallen under the domination of the powerful bishops that had formed there.

To the rest of the Federation, the bishop was simply another head of the city and he took his place in the federation assembly.

This is what Binidad discovered on the other side of the Parsius mountains and he soon attacked Partha. This alarmed the other city states and they brought their forces together.

There was a great battle and Binidad had to request more troops from Eranius. Emperor Kintanin the Wolf arrived with 100,000 soldiers and they wiped out the Aegein forces in a vicious battle in 3423.

Kintanin then rode into Biblos with the intention of executing the leader of the city. When he discovered bishop, he saw a use for him. He took the Bishop and his sacred texts back to Eranius where the center of the church now resides with the Emperor in charge.

Re: [OOC] History of the Belluae Imperium

In the year 5116, the Imperium headed northward and took the kingdom of Ninix under its control. Their religion of nature was considered a threat by the Imperium and it went through a stage of persecution. Those suspected of worshiping nature were put on trial and many were executed under Tibin the Terrible. This made the people very unhappy and they were not as welcoming as past conquests.

To this day the north remains a place hard for the Imperium to keep under control.

In 6000, the Imperium took the islands Apple and Savage Isle over under the rule of Vindago the Vulture. Savage Isle became a penal colony.

In 6800, the Kingdom of Kapido was taken by Myrvin the Mild Tiger. It had been the center of scientific research and all of its scientists were taken west to Eranius and was incorporated into their university.

In 7100, The Kitona empire survived the attempt of Jiven the Just from taking it over.

Jiven in his anger headed west and took the Kingdom of Petrin. This kingdom supplied Eranius with fine ships and a well trained navy for overseas exploration and conquest.
