So, I'd like to start a game based off Darker than Black (Anime series[it's on netflix]). I'll give a quick summary of what it would be, if there's interest I'll go into more detail. The series doesn't explain a lot of stuff very well though so I'll do the best I can
There are people called Contractors, they have special abilities (just one per contractor, but they're used in pretty creative ways). In return for the use of their powers they have to make a "payment". It varies between contratos, some are very strange, like taking off the shoes and setting them on the ground upside down next to victims, or just smoking a cigerette. They all have Code names, and a corresponding star designation as well as their given name. Contractors are believed to be almost devoid of emotion, and function of logic and rationality, however through the course of the show its shown to be otherwise. There are Dolls, which are very passive people who control specters, which can go anywhere there's water and are a type of survellaince... something or another, maybe a spirit its not well explained. And of course there's normal people. Most normal people can't know about the exsistence of Contractors, and have their memory erased if they find out. Some do know, and are charged with tracking them down. Contractors generally work for Countries governments, or other powerful groups.
There are two regions of the world that changed in a very poorly described way, they're called Heaven's Gate and Hell's Gate. Heaven's Gate is in South America, however something happened because of contractors that made the region in acessable. Hell's Gate is in Tokyo, and recently in the series a Contractor terroist group tried to do the same thing to Hell's Gate, which would protect it. Tokyo's government and some other hidden groups were trying to destroy it, which would destroy the contractors everywhere. The RP would start after that battle, with the terroist group pretty much gone, some will still try to protect it, some groups will still try to destroy it.
If there's enough interest I'd like to try and get this going.
