    Yes, I guess a test thread can have a greater purpose.

    And yes, aloha means love and good wishes. I even remember an oral history where a gal remembered a Hawaiian cowboy telling her "I aloha you" when he declared his love. I'd never heard it used as a verb before, but Hawaiian is even more flexible about parts of speech than English is.

    P.S. Our usual greeting and farewell technically uses it as a verb, but somehow it feels different in a full, grammatically correct sentence like that.
