I just checked the news again. It's now 50% contained. I'm hoping that it continues with that progress through tomorrow as well.
QC1: From this day forth you shall be called "Sprinkle Berryweather".

Kevin Flynn: The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships, motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day... ...I got in!

Yes, this must be a mean fire, to be so hard to bring under control. I'm glad you're still safe, Jason. I hope you continue to stay safe, and that the fire is soon completely under control.

60% contained, but the winds are becoming a concern again.

I'm seeing a couple differing reports, one that hasn't been updated since this morning. Another stating that it is 75% contained. I'm going to believe the second report.

bummer, unfortunately sometimes it takes time for them to get a handle
on it, wind is not their friend unfortunately. as long as the wind isn't to
bad, at 75% they should have it wrapped up in a couple days....
that was a smart move Jas, with the alert/alarm program.

    Good luck Jas.

It's actually not so hard to sleep through things like that M.
a number of years ago I lived with me Mum & at the time
girlfriend & son further down the block from where we
currently are but on the other side. The house at the other
end of the block caught fire & burned down, the building we
where in wasn't evacuated, but the others up to us where.
we all slept through the lights & alarms. didn't find out till
the next days when me mum went to work.
Trying to catch M in posts

Yes, I hope the 75% contained was right. Was. Hopefully the've gotten it more contained since, and continue to do that.

Glad it's as under control as it's likely to be, Jas. Troulble is with those winds, you can find yourself in trouble very fast indeed. Have an escape route and keep it up to date...

Thanks. I think we're in a relatively safe place now. The winds have passed, and while the fire danger still exists, it seems to be handled. It's at 80% contained now, and is estimated to be fully contained December 21.
